Excellent day at Ephesus and Kusadasi

Excellent communication prior to the tour and answered all my many questions about meeting time and location as the day approached. (I shouldn’t have worried at all because was so smooth at the port.). Derya was a great tour guide and we were so impressed to learn of her years at university and the tour guide proficiency exam she had to pass before leading tours. She is so knowledgeable and had so many interesting stories that she shared. I’m glad we had a private driver (Matt was very safe and adept at maneuvering the crazy traffic). We were able to avoid the hundreds of cruise excursion people packed on big charter busses and went to the House of Mary first and then went to Ephesus. Derya accompanied us throughout Ephesus for a two hour personalized guided tour filled with so much information about the history. She made it super fun and kept us entertained the whole time. She asked us how we wanted to customize our tour throughout the day which was a nice option to a stiff itinerary. Highly recommend.

Umut was our guide and he was fantastic!! He had a vast knowledge of biblical history and brought the world of Paul and the apostles to life. We enjoyed also seeing how local people made rugs and ceramics and we were able to be a part of demonstrations. Our favorite day of the cruise!

Best experience on our trip!

Incredible experience! There was maybe 30 people on the boat. Two levels. Below had tables and the front of the boat where you could sit. Up top was a shaded lounge area with lots of pillows. Everyone had their own space and it didn’t feel crowded at all. The ride was beautiful and there were 4 swimming stops in the most clear water I’ve ever seen. A chicken pasta lunch was provided and it was delicious. Drinks were available to purchase on board. Overall it was the best experience of our trip! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Amazing day!

This was an awesome tour! The company was very organized thru the entire day, every step from pickup to the boat stops to serving lunch. The boat has a bar and snacks, which I wasn’t expecting. The stops were beautiful, and the staff went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. They would even jump in and help take pictures of my family at good locations. The drive there was a different route than another tour we had close to the same location, was much more scenic, so I appreciated that. We loved all the staff and the entire day!

This one full day trip to the Gallipoli peninsula is very comfortable and we were back in Istanbul by 9:30. Mercedes Sprinter 15 seater vans were very comfortable The lunch was basic and tasty. Plenty to see

Really busy day but got to see so much . Picked up from our hotel and dropped back comfortable tour bus . Guides’s was great gave us lots of information and happy to answer questions . Very mixed bunch of people in tour was lovely to chat to 3 younger ones from Hong Kong over lunch . Pottery stop was lovely now hooked on the apple tea and spent way too much on some lovely souvenirs . Really great way to get a real taste of Cappadocia :)

Fabulous tour with Tas

The tour was fantastic. Tas, our guide, contacted me the night before to confirm, and was waiting for us when we disembarked ship. He’s one of the best guides I’ve ever had anywhere. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, great conversationalist, customer focused, and well organized. He added great insights to what we were seeing, quizzed us in a fun way, and definite knew his way around. Mary’s house was special, and walking through Ephesus hearing his stories was fascinating. We had a great lunch, and got to see Turkish rugs being made. Tas knew to skip one stop as there was construction going on. Highly recommend the tour and Tas.
