Really interesting tour of Ephesus with our guide Oguzhan (Ozzy) who was informative and passionate about his subject. Not so keen on the shopping side of it as we seemed to spend a lot of time in a rug making place and also a fashion shop, neither of which were of interest to us. What we didn't like was that on the way back to port when we were tired and just wanted to get back, Ozzy asked the driver to go slowly so that we could all link into his internet hot spot and write a review of the tour! It felt like we were being coerced (in a friendly way) which didn't go down well with us, although others in the group were okay with it.

We meet Peri at pier of the cruise ship, which was crowded but was easy to find. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. We shared lunch together she explained each tasty item. Great day.

This was an overall wonderful tour. Our guide Perri was so knowledgeable on the history of Ephesus and Turkey. We were able to find her quickly outside our cruise port and the transportation was new and very comfortable. The tour included a stop at a rug weaver after lunch which was fun to see but they do try and show you rugs after for purchase. It was not an intense sell and we did not feel pressured. We also had lunch as a group at the same plaza which wasn’t included in the price for $25 pp and it was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed it. After the House of Mary we stopped at a large leather store which was a total waste of time and a huge sell which I felt was commission based for our guide. They had you sit through a fashion walk show with strobe lights and walk the showroom and try to sell you jackets. We weren’t asked if we’d like to stop and were a small group. No one would have had an interest if asked. If possible, ask if this can be skipped. Waste of time. Would have preferred to spend more time walking the shops at the port prior to reboarding the ship. Otherwise we enjoyed it. It is a lot of walking though if that is a concern.

We had an amazing experience on the Best of Ephesus tour! Our guide Canan was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient throughout the entire day. As first-time visitors, we really appreciated how much history and local insight they shared while still making everything easy to understand and enjoyable.
The tour was very well organized and we were able to see so many incredible sites — honestly everything we hoped to experience during our visit. We never felt rushed, and our guide made sure everyone was comfortable and had time for photos and questions.
This was one of the highlights of our trip and we would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ephesus for the first time!

Ozan and Achmat were great. Private tour is the only way to go. Flexible for itinerary and car was waiting for us at the end of each visit. Extra for Private was worth it not walking back up the hill for the bus! Highly recommend this tour and doing the private tour.

Ephesus, Mary's House and Artemis were all amazing and Ozzy was very nice, informative and spoke clear English. Enjoyed stop at Turkish Weaving to learn about making rugs & silk but could have done without 30+minute spiel trying to get us to buy a rug. Felt pressure. Also stopped at leather store, had to watch a short fashion show and got a spiel about buying leather jacket. Neither of those things were mentioned on description and added to length. Says 6 hours, it's been 7 already and not back yet.

We had great guide tour Fatima. We have been in Ephesus and the house Mary with her. Your company picked up from cruise port in Kusadasi. We docked with Celestyal cruise line. Everything was well organized. We beat all the crowds and heat!! We had excellent farm to table lunch . We have been at rug coop and leather. Outlat. That was so much fun and not touristy like next to port. Do not miss this local experience

Canan was a lovely tour guide and incredibly knowledgeable! She was very clear and easy to understand and would wait for us to take photos throughout the tour of Ephesus.
She took wonderful photos of us as a group, and helped us navigate between the large cruise tour groups so we always had a great view and description of the sites.
I booked on Viator, so booking was easy and I was reached out with WhatsApp and email a few days before the tour to confirm our pickup time and ship name for our cruise and was easy to find at the port.
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kusadasi with an interest in history.

Bahar was a great guide. Enjoyed the ease of travel, and her recommendations to start the tour as early as possible off the ship due to congestion at the main sights. She timed things perfectly. The Turkish rug making demonstration was good, it would be improved if it was more interactive/could try the skills demonstrated. Appreciated the cold drink on the house! There was not too much pressure to purchase which I enjoyed. The food was good, appetizers were the best part in my opinion. The leather shop stop was not what I expected nor was it for me. They were respectful and not pushy to buy, again appreciated. But if you love leather jackets, this is the place for unique pieces.
Overall it was a good tour, the 5 stars are for Bahar, her knowledge, English speaking skills and her planning.

Full private guided tour of Ephesus was great, Celine was a good personable and knowledgeable guide, our driver of the large Mercedes van was also good and safe. After Ephesus we went to the site of the temple of Artemis, then a carpet making cooperative. This was interesting and we enjoyed lunch there. A leather outlet visit before we headed back to Kusadasi port was an experience. Full on models and music show on a catwalk for just two of us. All nice gear but we did not buy anything - no pressure either. Other than unexpected cold front, we had a great day.

The ancient city ruins and Mary’s house was worth seeing. My husband and I absolutely hated the stop at the rug store (which was extremely high pressure sales, they wouldn’t back down) and the leather shop (that was horrible) it would have been great to see a presentation of the shops (which you do at the rug place) and have a free to look option at the rugs. We went to so many tours and different ports along our Europe trip and this was not our favorite at all.
