In the itinerary and overview it says that cleopatras pools is part of it. I found out the day of that they are not but if I cancel last minute I dont get my money back.

Pamukkale is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. The scenery is picturesque and you almost can’t believe what you’re experiencing. The pools are busy, yes, but our tour guide Baran did a good job at structuring the day so that by the time we got to the pools that it was when other tour groups were typically doing lunch. That helped make it feel slightly less busy. And Hierapolis is a sight to behold. Being able to walk around the ruins at your own pace allows you to get what you want out of the day. If you’re looking for a tour guide to walk with you ever step of the way and explain what you are seeing or experiencing, this probably isn’t the tour for you. We did receive some explanation prior to going into Pamukkale/Hierapolis, but other than that you are left to make the visit what you want.
I personally didn’t love the visit to the jewelry/rock shop. While they didn’t necessarily feel pushy, the place did feel a bit seedy and didn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the day. I’m not sure why it was included.

If you are not staying in Antalya but staying in Pamukkale or in Denzili DONOT take this trip as you will be paying more than if you book a trip locally.
Although the trip start time says 7:30 am that is for people living in Antalya.
Pamukkale by itself is a beautiful place dotted with the ancient ruins of Hieropolis. Our tour guide Toylan was a nice person with very little to offer in terms of explaining the history of the place as a guide. He encouraged us to explore the amphiteatre on our own as it was a bit of a uphill walk. The trip itself presented with many oppurtunities of buying souveniers such as precious stones outlet and textile store which took up time in seeing and spending more time in the waters of Pamukkale.

Dear Manisha, thank you for your comment. As you mentioned, timing is important. Since we leave Antalya and consider the return time, we can spend 3.5 hours in Pamukkale. This is valid for all travel agencies and guests joining from Antalya.

In my opinion the Pamukkale tours are overrated for what you do and what it’s provided by the company. The place of Hierapolis and Pamukkale it’s enormous and to be able to explore most of it you need at least 4 hours. At the beginning of the tour we were provided with some important information but not all vital information about the place. Then you are exploring by yourself. There is so much history that is important to have the guide explaining all the places and ruines.

There is nothing we exaggerated, I believe that we provided the necessary service. And we helped you, you changed the date of your reservation, you said our flight landed late, you can talk about these issues. Have a good holiday honestly.

Great tour, tour guide and driver!
Our tour guide, Bekir, was knowledgeable and shared interesting bits of history and facts along the way. You get more out of the tour if you ask him questions. I really appreciated his more flexible approach to the tour - he managed to fit in optional activities like paragliding, hot air balloon, onyx factory/store, textile outlet and winery for those who were interested. Of course this meant that those who went for the last 2 activities had to sacrifice a little bit of time at Pamukkale and Hierapolis itself. The paragliding and hot air balloon were done before lunch. Those who weren’t interested did a tour of the nearby town and lake. If you’re interested in the hot air balloon, you’ll need to let the company know when you book. This is a separate cost. The paragliding was arranged on the day itself and cost about €65 per person (prices will vary based on season and the economy); you can choose to purchase the GoPro video and photos for an additional €40 (do note you can take your own). I would also recommend this cos you get an amazing aerial view of Hierapolis. Anyway, back to Bekir, he looked after us really well and made sure everyone enjoyed the trip (imo). Leo, our driver, also shared some interesting anecdotes from his experience with the area.
As for Pamukkale itself, it was a little less spectacular than I imagined but still worth the trip. I assume you’d have a better chance of getting photos with fewer background people if you stayed in Denizli itself and headed out really early. Most of the tour buses from Antalya would reach there around 10/11am and leave around 4/5pm.
I would 100% recommend a dip in Cleopatra’s pool (in low season) which is filled with the warm thermal waters. If you’re a little icky about algae tho, a warning, there is algae. No towels provided or available for rental so you need to bring your own, along with swimwear. They should really start a towel rental business.
Overall, would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Bekir and Leo for making it such an enjoyable experience.

The tour was really good, we started the 3 hour journey at 7, had 2 stops and then had a buffet lunch. We arrived around 1 to Pamukkale and had time to go around and we took the optional paragliding.
Our tour guide was great, she was so nice and knowledgeable!

I really enjoyed this tour, Pamukkale is really interesting and it was very useful to have a guide give information about the site and its history. He was also very flexible so whilst there wasn't that much time you had flexibility to swim (or not swim) in Cleopatra's pools and paraglide.
It is a long way so you do spend a lot of the day driving but its definitely worth it.

Negative was the large crowds, which of course is not the tour company's fault. Carry plenty of water and a hat since it can be super hot in the summer !

Do not recommend this tour.
Very unorganized and unprofessional!
Pick up time was 6:20 and couple of stops to pick up other guests. Driver stopped 45 minutes after getting on the road for breakfast!! No one ate expect driver!!! Waste of time.
Lunch was disgusting. Flies all over the food. Drinks were not included. Had to pay for water also.
Got to Pamukkale very little information was given by the tour guide and plan was to meet her again at 3:30 by Cleopatra pool to go to Amphitheater. We were there from 3:15 to 3:35 by the entrance and no sign of her. Anyway , we basically did everything on our own.
My expectations was to have a guide to point out and explain about Hierapolis not to just drive us there and disappear!!!
I world certainly not recommend this tour.
We were curious to know more about the place but poor planning and experience ruins our trip.

Mr. Frank, you paid extra money for being picked up from outside of Antalya for 4.5 hours in Pamukkale, depending on where you are staying.There is information on the place you bought it, so that the guests who will attend from outside of Antalya will be charged an extra hotel fee.see you again.

Batu, our guide , was knowledgeable and planning was perfect. But the bus was not comfortable for such a long trip.
However since it was peak tourist time the place was crowded.

The trip was amazing. I didn't have any complaint with the visit. The place is beautiful and enjoyable. The minibus was comfortable, even though the long distance, I didn't feel it too bored. Time passed really fast. The only thing I didn't like was that when we come back from the tour the guide asked for tips for the driver to the first two guys they dropped off... The guys gave to the driver 15 Turkish lira and the driver got too upset due to the low tips (on his consideration) and he decided to get back the tip to them. I think this was too disgusting. People should be grateful with anything other do for them... None know how much effort those guys made in order to have that trip... Even though, people has money, it is not an obligation give to others what they think they deserve... You give whatever you can or want and the receptor should be really grateful. In my case, after I saw, that I decided to leave the bus and not to giving him anything... I was really mad with his behavior!

Pamukele amazed me with its natural beauty. White swimming pools are just out of the world. Tour guide was a young man. Guides leave you at your own once you reach the pamukele. Cleopatra pool was a great place to visit where you swim on fallen ancient pillers. Loved the hotel where lunch was arranged for the group.

A good guide.But 4 adults out of 5 ,of our group were placed in the back row of the minibus.With our average hight of 180,we found the seats pretty congested.The ,next backmost seat was defect.Hurted our knees throughout the almost 8 hours in minibuss.The guide advised us to talk to our co -passengers and check if somebody was willing to swap there better seats with us.Absurd...

In this tour, we didn't enjoy the Pammukkale view. We felt in photographs it's over hyped where in reality it was not having much blue colored layers.
Moreover, in the Hot sun ( around 1.30 PM) all the guests were walking almost 3 kilometer to reach the main area.
We observed that there was a possibility to take a site seing open buggy for minimum charge. The tour operator could have easily opt for this as in our group we were around 14 guests.
However, the tour operator suggested us about Paragliding and many of our group opted for the same. This was an awesome experience.
So overall the tour was good.

This is essentially a ride to and back the place. The guide spoke for a few minutes a few times throughout the whole day of 12 hours. Considering historical places we were passing by on a way to and back, as well as visiting the Pamukkale and Hierapolis, it could have been a lot more interesting to learn more of the history. Basically the guide said here it is this building and that. Pamukkale and Hierapolis was all free time by yourself. You will also have to suffer through a stop for shopping or wait outside if not interested in and so so lunch in so so place. Better get your own transportation to Pamukkale. That’s all this tour was.

Honestly such a great time.
Where do I start:
1. Mustafa our tour guide was awesome. He spoke excellent English. Knew a great deal of the history and was entertaining on the bus.
2. The thermal pools were so beautiful. All white and you just feel like you are on a different planet.
3. Would definitely recommend the Cleopatra pool. The waters was so warm. Great swim
4. The arena was stunning. So much history and so great that it is still in tact. We definitely wished we spent a bit more time at the arena because the weather was great
5. They also offer Paragliding at an extra cost if you want it. Didn’t end up doing it but it looked great.
You have quite a bit of extra time so you would be able to do all 4 activities if you spend your time wisely.
Oeh and if you are a cat lover, there are loads of them. So sweet.
Although the ride from our hotel Delphin was long, it was definitely worth the trip.
Thank you Mustafa and the driver who was incredible driving us there and back since probably 5 in the morning and I am sure he didn’t get back home till 11pm and still went to work the next day.
Please make sure to tip your drivers because they are real striders!
