Our guide, Gigi, was knowledgeable, respectful and lovely. We would recommend her. We were not crazy about the lunch and carpet factory. It detracted from the thrill of being in Ephesus

The tour was fantastic. Tas, our guide, contacted me the night before to confirm, and was waiting for us when we disembarked ship. He’s one of the best guides I’ve ever had anywhere. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, great conversationalist, customer focused, and well organized. He added great insights to what we were seeing, quizzed us in a fun way, and definite knew his way around. Mary’s house was special, and walking through Ephesus hearing his stories was fascinating. We had a great lunch, and got to see Turkish rugs being made. Tas knew to skip one stop as there was construction going on. Highly recommend the tour and Tas.

Ephesus was one of the most special places we visited. We saw the Virgin Mary house, Ephesus, the Terrace Houses, had the included Turkish mezze lunch, viewed the weaving school, St John Basilica and Temple of Artemis. Nagi was our guide and we also had a driver for the luxury Mercedes van. We had the loveliest day with Magi and could easily have spent another 8 hours in Ephesus, there is just so much to see.

This was the perfect way to visit Ephesus. Our guide was exceptional about every aspect of the tour. She listened to what we wanted to do and places that were important for us to visit and we were able to visit all the areas on our list. She was very knowledgeable about all the history and made the day so enjoyable. Our adventure in Kusadasi needed help from someone with local, informed insights. We selected Tripadvisor and were grateful for being paired with Alsi, who was a perfect fit. She met us exactly as we had been advised, simplifying the first stress of all tours. She had lots of knowledge of the various locations of our visits, meeting the desired standards for a guide. What was novel and very refreshing was her instinctive personal warmth and fun nature. So the mix was a rich sharing of important details combined with a sisterly comfort to amplify the positive and enjoyable exploration. Her good English skills were much appreciated.
included also was the sites with the gem being Ephesus with its antiquity and silent reminder of the genius that came before. On balance, we were very appreciative of the tour and Asli's sharing of it.

Absolutely amazing day in Ephesus with our tour guide Selin. She knew all the tricks to avoid the large crowds which made the experience extra special. Also, her historical knowledge and enthusiasm for Turkish history was infectious. We were sorry to see the day end. Highly recommend Ephesus and Selin!

Nagi our tour guide and Yasar our driver provided impeccable service and tailored our day to our desired stops. It was nice to have our own private guide and tour. Nagi knew when to get us to our desired locations when the crowds were at their least. This trip was great for two and would be good for 4 or 5 as well.

Excellent personalized tour of Ephesus with Nagi. We were able to decide what we wanted to see and for how long. Nage provided well chosen context and details about everything we saw, answered our questions and was a warm and welcoming host. Our tour included a very nice lunch at a restaurant connected with a carpet weaving school where we had a brief demonstration of carpet weaving. If you’re in the market for a Turkish carpet this would be an excellent place to buy one.

Our guide Asli was fantastic, she knew all of the best places to visit and was very knowledgeable about the area. We had a beautiful private car and driver at our disposal. The lunch she arranged was wonderful. It was a truly lovely day! I would highly recommend the experience!

The tour was great, Asli and her driver picked us up promptly from the port in a comfortable Mercedes van. We got to see the virgin Mary's house. Which had some steep hills to get down to. Asli was so accommodating to my mother's needs, (she has some hip issues) she had the driver pick us up so she wouldn't have to walk back up that steep hill. Which i was grateful for too. Ephesus was a definite highlight and Asli was so informative. She gaves ample amount of time to look around and take pictures without rushing us along. Lunch was good! Traditional Turkish food i appreciated the exposure to the culture. My family and I and a good time we are thankful for the experience.

Our tour guide Nagi was very knowledgeable on ancient ruins. She was patient and we didn’t feel rushed. She was organized and explained our agenda ahead of time. Her English was very good. We didn’t feel rushed. We told her we didn’t want to go to a rug store because we already bought rugs in Istanbul, but she still took us to a rug store.

On a cruise, couldn't decide among the options offered. Then I found this 'custom tailored' experience so we were able to pick and choose. Of course Nagi made good recommendations. We enjoyed Ephesus more than any other stop on our Mediterranean Cruise, thanks to our tour guide! The teenagers were tired and a little grumpy when it began (embarrassing for Mom)- but by the end EVERYONE agreed it was our favorite place we visited! Last minute tour with Tas. Very knowledgeable. Had a great time. Lunch stop was delicious, however the rug weaving demonstration was more of a sales pitch for the rugs.

Excellent guide Senge. He adapted the tour according to our needs and time . He is very detailed about history , religion , architecture ., languages . He read passages of the bible as we did overed secret aspects of Ephesus and ancient life in the city.

Great customized tour. Transportation was on time, reliable at all locations and very roomy for our family of four (it was like a limo van!). Our guide (Ahmet) was great, spoke excellent English, and was very informative. He also was very good about customizing the tour to what we wanted. We chose not to do the House of Mary, do a stop at Artemis Temple, Ancient Ephesus, the Ephesus Experience, and the Ephesus archaeological museum. We decided to skip the St. John Basilica last second—which was fine with them.
Lunch was at the local co-op where they have students making rugs… I know, I know, I immediately thought “ugh, another Turkish rug hard sell”, but it was quite the contrary. No pressure to buy, and they quickly demonstrated the silk making process (from mulberry leaf harvesting to caterpillar eating them and making their cocoons that source the silk)—which was VERY interesting. Overall, the whole tour exceeded my expectations with zero pressure and highly informative and on-time. Highly recommend!
