Both sites are absolutely worth visiting. The Basilica is extraordinary and getting the information about it from the guide was really useful. The palace and grounds also amazing however it was very busy. The guide was able to ‘fast track’ us through queues legitimately but even so it was busy everywhere. Guide was knowledgeable on history, geography and current affairs.

Amazing crash course in the history of Istanbul

In a stroke of good fortune my small group tour became a private one. Lutfi was informative and patient with all my questions. Highlights included the Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace Harem, and the Bosphorous boat tour, all amazing sights with engaging commentary from Lutfi. He points out small details I would never have noticed just wandering around on my own. I was never bored and neither will be anyone who takes this tour. Amazing introduction to the complex history of the city!

A good overall experience!

The skip the line part makes entry and exit much easier and smooth which is a big help. The sites are all fascinating. You get a feel for the city and what it has to offer from the tour. Juts be aware it is a lot of walking and also the mosques require you to be covered in a certain way, but the organizers let you know that in advance so it’s easy to plan accordingly.

Top notch tour by our amazing guide Oz. We experienced the highlights of Istanbul and there are many incredible ones and Oz’s knowledge and personality made it a truly immersive experience. My wife and I met up in the morning with our 2 other solo travelers and when Oz met up with us we became a great group of 5 people who had a wonderful day in Istanbul.
