We enjoyed the journey very much. We brought the water socks which help us to walk to the end of the Pamukkale.
Selina_B, Feb 2026
The experience would have been nicer had not been rushed. The journey went ok but did keep stopping off and doing things other people wanted to do at an extra cost while we had to sit around and wait doing nothing. Ie balloon ride. Also we were dropped in the middle of nowhere at a shopping outlet because others wabted to do something else and it was super expensive designer stuff. We sat an hour and waited to be collected. Lots of doing things in between the journey that didnt need to be done. Would have resulted in us having more unrushed time in pammukele.

Great day with Dirlek to Pamukkale. It was an amazing experience. I enjoyed the stops before arrival to Pamukkale. It did not feel like a 3 hour drive from Antalya. It was a cold day and Dirlek was very accommodating even willing to allow us to return and sit in the van to stay warm after enjoying Pamukkale.
It was cold on the day I attended the event. I look forward to experiencing it in the summer
I recommend nonslip socks, change of clothes and towel. A few people feel because certain areas are slippery.
Cleopatra pool is closed for renovations. Hierapolis was a nice as well.

We enjoyed the hot springs although it was not as dramatic as we were expecting and walking into the area was quite painful on the feet with very sharp limestone. The ruins were very interesting. The buffet lunch delicious. The three hour drive to and from the area went surprisingly fast as our tour director gave us interesting facts on turkey. What we did not enjoy was the stop at the onyx factory as my husband and I always avoid these hard sell stops. It's important to inform travelers on these tours on how to dress as we were told to bring bathing suits and towels, however, there was no opportunity to swim and it was quite chilly. Overall we enjoyed this tour.

It was fantastic to be in Pamukkale. The transportación was good and comfortable. The guide explained everything to us. The lunch was plenty and good.
caroline_c, Oct 2025
Early start was lost to wasted time for breakfast break and shopping stops. Would prefer more time at Pamukkale and not an onxy factory ... But actually a shop.

Well.organised trip completely as advertised . On time pick up , comfortable vehicle fir a long long trip . Hierapolis is an ancient city and the theatre and various artefacts and locations are quite amazing . Pamukklae is an experience . Some tips
The theatre is quite a walk from the entry point with some uphill parts .i. Summer months I would recommend taking an e cart available for booking by your guide . 1950 lira for 6 .

Check in advance to know if the Cleopatra pool is open to visit in case it proves to be a huge disappointment as this visit and experience of bathing in the pool is worth looking forward to!

Had a nice time, knowlageble guid did not let us to fall asleep for 1 seconds, safe driving with professional driver, BUT
WE happened to overcharge with Viator for kids
When we ordered a trip, we paid for 2 adults and 2 kids 10 and 11 years old, but when we got to Pamukkale we HAD OVERCHARGED again 30 dollars per kid, Wich was unexpected and came out as 101 dollars , more then per adult
Explanation was that , kids after 8 years old not a kids anymore, but application in Viator did not ask any options about kids age . It was very upsetting
Other then that, the tour itself was above an expectation, very nice
Thank you guid Delir and driver

Book from Antalya not from Izmir same tour but cheaper. Try booking Paragliding also cheaper to book through Viator

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about this tour. It was one of the most disappointing experiences of my trip.
First, the listing mentions Cleopatra’s Pool three times – including in the tour title – but it was closed when we arrived. That’s a major part of why we booked this in the first place, and there was no warning or update from the company in advance.
As for Pamukkale itself: the photos are incredibly misleading. Most of the travertine terraces are completely dried up, the few with water are packed with people, and much of it is roped off and inaccessible. You’re required to go barefoot on sharp limestone rock, which is not only painful but dangerous for some.
The advertised 3-hour drive turns into 6+ hours each way because of unnecessary and scammy stops. First, a “breakfast” stop, then an Onyx shop stop where they pretend it’s an educational tour – it’s not. It’s a hard sell for overpriced “gemstones” and the guide is clearly getting commission. Total scam.
Lunch is included, but don’t even try to bring your own water – someone in our group got yelled at for that. We didn’t arrive at Pamukkale until 12:30pm – just in time for peak heat and massive crowds. Once there, the guide immediately tries to upsell you on paragliding or helicopter rides (again, for inflated prices where she clearly gets a cut).
Our guide Dilek may seem friendly, but she was constantly pushing scams and upsells the entire day. She even offered to take people away from Pamukkale early to visit a so-called “real Burberry” outlet that obviously sells fake goods. It was completely inappropriate and misleading.
In summary:
🚫 Cleopatra’s Pool closed
🚫 Pamukkale overcrowded and dried up
🚫 Scam stops (Onyx shop, fake Burberry store)
🚫 Aggressive upselling by the guide
🚫 Dishonest advertising from start to finish
If you really want to visit Pamukkale, rent a car and go yourself. This tour was a complete waste of time and money.

It wasn't until the trip had started that we found out that one of the three places to Visit (Cleopatra's pool, and the main point of going) was closed. This meant that we spent a full three hours at Pamukkale with very little shade. It also took almost 6 hours to get there by the time we had rest stops and lunch. I know it isn't the fault of the tour company, but the roads are dreadful so strap yourself in for a bumpy ride. I also wasn't impressed that the minivan ran out of water before we reached our destination.

We had a great time even though the cleopatra’s pool is under repair and was never mention in the trip details, . Dilek was very knowledge and friendly. I highly recommend her to guide your trip . She is a really happy person. Do not hesitate to take her as your trip guide . You should come with beach shoes. It is hard to walk in the terrace.

Dilek was absolutely fabulous guide. My entire family was so impressed with her.
Overall, a very nice experience.
Julia_L, May 2025
We enjoyed our tour. It was well organized, very nice lunch at a beautiful restaurant by Pamukkale. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time for exploring Hierapolis on our own as we spent all three hours on Pamukkale pools’ side of the attraction. Our guide, Wish, was very enthusiastic and entertaining as well as knowledgeable and welcoming. Recommend:))

Baran was very good tour guide. I have had many different tours around Türkiye since last few days. By far this was best tour because of nice guide.

Our tour guide Chill and bus driver Dawood made the long trip to Pamukkale so much better, with their warmth and knowledge of the region. Thanks to them the long journey from Antalya to Pamukkale, surprisingly wasn't as tiring. We stopped an hour from Antalya for breakfast since we had left very early in the morning. We then stopped at an Zultanite showroom and from there, very close to the showroom, was our lunch stop. Which turned out to be a very lavish buffet, overseeing beautiful gardens and fields. After lunch we went to Pamukkale and Hieropolis. Both are in the same vicinity. Pamukkale is on the slopes and we have to walk bare feet in the pools. The pools are quite slippery and can hurt your feet due to the hard calcium deposits. We were not allowed to even wear booties. We walked all the way down to the last pool. Looking back up from there, to the place where we started from, the whole place seemed like a snow clad hill . Its such an amazing experience. We walked back up carefully to the ruins of Hieropolis which are far and spread out. We visited the ones close to the pools and also climbed the hill where the theater is located. The views from here are spectacular. Sunglasses and a cap is recommended while visiting Pamukkale. I was very happy all the way back to Antalya knowing that I'd finally visited Pamukkale.

Trip was well planned with sufficient time for the activities. Special thanks to Dilek, our guide, for managing and maintaining timelines. She kept us enagaged throughout the trip, has excellent knowledge of Turkish history and global cultures.
Lunch near Pammukale was very good.
It was a long trip of almost 13 hours but it is worth.
Rupesh_P, Apr 2025
The trip was amazing had great fun, Dilek the tour guide was such informative, loved the food, wide range of vegetarian food, especially the deserts loved them.
Misbah_M, Apr 2025
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We had an excellent tour guide (Turkish name translated as Fish) who took good care of our group. Punctuality, good knowledge of the history and culture, flexible.
We did paragliding as the balloon flights were cancelled due to weather. Will definitely recommend this activity. The walk in the warm waters of Pamukkale was amazing. The overall experience was brilliant. Highly recommended if you have one whole day to spare.
ionel_r, Apr 2025
Great experience with our guide Dilek. She is very professional and take care of her clients, even if the driver is a little bit grumpy. Pamukale is amazing and I strongly recomand it.
Suet_L, Apr 2025
This is a must see pamukkale was amazing in real life, so much more beautiful than any images. It was wonderful to walk and soak feet in the pools. Tour is amazing, tour guide was amazing and took good care of us. Mini buss very comfortable and clean.
Abha_S, Apr 2025
Please avoid unless you want to spend a whole bunch of time doing absolutely nothing. The guide kept taking us to different shops to force us to buy things instead of directly taking us to pammukale. Took smoke breaks every 30-40 mins and stopped the bus further delaying us, the whole experience took 13 hours whereas it could have been done in 8-9 hours. Please rent your own car and dont take this experience. Also the guide was not very easy to understand and had a strong accent, soent very less time on actually going through the places with us and explain all the details. Please AVOID!

Very nice trip, all my family are so happy , the pamukkale is amazing , you have to go there to fulfill you turkey trip, and also the hierapolis …we enjoyed the whole journey, it is very well organized, lunch is included and the restaurant is nice and beautiful as well. The guide Dilek is a very very nice lady ,she is so knowledgeable and funny, the drive Davut is so nice and friendly as well , they even bought candies for my two kids. I am 100% recommend this trip. 👍👍👍
New_D, Mar 2025
Worth the drive. Pemukkale was scenic. Water was nice, both cold and warm !
Dilek our guide was energetic and keen to help. Lunch was proper buffet. Salad bar was extensive. Main course were bland for my taste but others night differ. Trip went as planned. Buy jewelry from factory only if you know how to bargain well otherwise keep your head down. Heirpolis is well preserved. A gem of ancient times to marvel at.
The whole place has exquisite location, mountains, valley, greens, water...
Seshni_S, Mar 2025
Enough time to explore Hierapolis and Pammukale. Guide and driver were efficient and helpful.
Only downside was that the bus was full and there was little space for us at the back.
