    10/10 experiences to Galipoli

Simply the best tour guide I’ve ever had. Knowledge and willingness to explain all of our queries first class. Pick up and drop back to hotel in Istanbul went smoothly and drivers and vehicle are good.

    Galipoli tour from Istanbul

This is a great tour and we'll worth the fourteen and a half hours it took. The guide was very knowledgeable. The trip was really quite emotional.

I won’t ever forget this day

The drive was long but as an Australian this was a bucket list item for me and well worth the time out of my trip to Istanbul. The tour guide was amazing; friendly, funny but importantly informative. Gallipoli itself will be something that I never forget! If you have the time I would probably suggest doing to two day tour to see Troy as well.

An Absolute Must Do for All Australians Visiting Turkey

    Rodney_S, Jul 2024
This tour was absolutely amazing. Visiting Gallipoli has been something that I have wanted to do for many many years. In the end, my wife and I opted to do a one day tour from Istanbul, which I was a little worried about given that it is a four hour drive each way. Thankfully, the small group tour option had an excellent Mercedes Vito, which picked us up at 5:30 am from our hotel in Istanbul and returned us at around 8:30pm, leaving about 5 hours for the tour, which was more than enough. Yes, I know, that is a long day, but I would do it again 100 times out of 100 and would highly recommend it to anyone that has even the slightest interest in Gallipoli and/or ANZAC Day, which is continuing to be a most significant day to all Australians. The locations of the battles (and there were many) are ironically beautiful and so one finds themself conflicted all day by the beauty of the place and the reality of what occurred there. Most importantly for this review at least, is how good the tour was that we went on. T.J., who we had to ourselves for the day, knows more about Gallipoli than anyone I have ever met. With an Australian wife, this Turkish guru is able to explain the events and the reasons for their happening from all standpoints (both the Australian and Turkish perspectives). I could have listened to T.J. speak on this subject for a month. He was absolutely amazing and the stories he relates are inspirational and to be honest, mind blowing. How two countries ever found themselves in this situation doing the fighting for others (namely the incompetent British and the cunning Germans) is beyond comprehension. Apologies for the long winded review, but this trip was something I have wanted to do for most of my life and it was simply amazing. Thank you T.J. for a most amazing tour.

Make sure you confirm the tour!

    Scott_W, Nov 2023
Make sure you get an email confirmation about this tour from the company itself , I booked and was told by Viator it was confirmed. Up at 4:30 am and waited but they didn’t come and collect me. Was told they came to reception and the hotel couldn’t find me as a registered guest. Not correct thou as I was sitting at reception the whole time and not a person came in. They did process a refund thou.

    Response from Host, Nov 2023
