What are people saying about Tokyo

Good tour, great guide
Our guide, Masa, was very accommodating. We were able to stop and shop without feeling pressured about time. He was a great source of information. Although it was raining, he was able to keep us dry for most of the trip. I would highly recommend this tour; based mostly on our guide Masa. I felt we learned a lot, tasted some yummy food and had a great time

Tokyo Day Tour
Great tour! Levin is very knowledgeable in Japans history and sights. Great sense of humor. The lunch was very tasty! Only recommendation is to do the matcha experience after lunch. That way you can have desert after the meal. Overall, great tour and guide!

Excellent Experience
We had a wonderful first day in Tokyo thanks to our fantastic driver/ historian 😉, Jason. He took us to all the city highlights and customized our time to suit our desires. Jason took lots of photos for us which was a bonus. We learned so much about Japan’s history. Great tour guide!

Fun-filled day
This was a great time exploring temples, shrines, and gardens. Learned a lot from my guide (Yuki-san 🙏🏾) and he accommodated to add certain locations I wanted to visit, such as secondhand stores and shoe shops. Would definitely say it's worth it, and hopefully you also get Yuki-san. He was very chill, funny, and knowledgeable about the history of each spot we visited.

Banger of a time
This was a really fun night of exploring a variety of bars in Tokyo. Learned some historical background on the bars in the area and got to meet new friends, too. Suzuki-san was our tour guide and was a pleasure to be with. Very funny, knowledgeable, and supportive in helping with any questions even after the tour.

Terrific tour!
What a wonderful tour! Our guide, Yuki, met us at our hotel and took us to see several interesting sites. Besides serving as a very knowledgeable tour guide on historical and cultural sites, she also taught us to negotiate the subway and train systems, and helped us understand several types of Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended!

Best First Day in Tokyo
As we were first time visitors, this was a great way to see some of the key sights and get to know the train system and how to get around. Our guide Yamada gave great insight into the culture and customs of Japan and the people. The Tsukiji Food Market was a highlight as we tried food that we would never had considered eating - what an experience. Highly recommend, but ensure you wear comfortable shoes as you will do plenty of walking

Tokyo
My family had a fantastic time exploring two of the most important shrines and temples Tokyo has to offer. Our tour guide, Ikuko, was wonderful and did an incredible job sharing the history and significance of these amazing sites. She was informative, detailed, and patiently answered all of our questions.
She also gave us some great insider tips on where to buy quality kitchen tools, including Japanese knives, and where to try some of Japan’s most popular treats and foods. She was truly a superstar and made the experience even more memorable!

Bob was brilliant
We did the walking tour early in our visit to Tokyo. Our guide was Bob who was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable throughout and showed us many interesting places away from the hustle and bustle of a lot of the city that we would never have found ourselves. We never felt rushed between places and Bob allowed us to stop, shop and even snack as we wanted. We all really enjoyed the afternoon and I would recommend this tour to anyone who wished to explore a little more of the "real" Tokyo.

Ask for Monta!
Monta was a great guide and was well prepared to create a unique experience based on our interests. Yes you can walk Tokyo by yourself but there is a lot you’d miss and Monta made sure we didn’t miss anything on our day. He was kind and a safe person to be with and clearly loves this city.

BEST Way to See Tokyo on a BIKE
Gaku (Gakuto Miura) was our guide and this was EASILY THE BEST PART OF OUR TOKYO TRIP! We covered all the main Temples, shrines, Imperial Palace, and rode through back streets and busy intersections. We grabbed lunch at a local grocery store continuing on to eat at the Harbor. It was awesome. I had my two teenage kids with me. We made frequent stops for hydration breaks but 17 miles in 94F heat was so much fun because our guide made sure to pause often (plus he provided neck ice packs while we rode so we stayed cool in the hot temps.
Highlights: Yoyogi Shrine then bike ride to Yoyogi Park nice and shaded
Zozoji shrine
imperial Palace
Nissan crossing, Shinjuku, Tokyo Gov Building w 55 seconds elevator ride up to the observatory. Great pics feom the top and what a fun way to see Tokyo!!

Izumi was very attentive,...
Izumi was very attentive, thoughtful and responsive. He suggested an itinerary immediately upon booking the tour. He was well organized and knowledgeable and very good with our kids. He went above and beyond helping secure a restaurant reservation for us when I asked if we could stop there while we were in Japan. 10/10 experience! Arigato Izumi.
