Haruka was very helpful and kind. She showed us everything we needed to know about the train ride and gave us the information about the shrine, imperial palace and all the places around Tokyo. She was very knowledgeable about the Japanese culture. She asked us where we wanted to go or eat. She was very polite and friendly. We would have her again if we ever needed a guided tour around Tokyo. It was a very fun experience because of her being able to tell us about the city and interesting places.

Shigeru was a great guide. We thoroughly enjoyed his history of the fish market and explanations of the street foods: fried fish balls, wagu bites, omelettes on a stick. The experience with the chef demonstrating how he slices fresh fish was great fun. He had great presentation of the food. He even torched some raw salmon and tuna for us to have some “ cooked fish” with our rice bowl. We ended the tour with an ice cream cone. Highly recommend this tour.

I had an absolutely fantastic private tour in Tokyo. The entire experience was seamless, personalized and incredibly enjoyable from start to finish. Ad was the best guide and partner for the day. We saw everything I wanted and while alone in Tokyo, Ad made sure I never felt lonely and I was able to see everything I had on my list in a day. Highly Recommend!

We had such a wonderful experience with our guide Mayumi on our 4-hour tour, and I cannot recommend our guide enough. From the very beginning, she was incredibly attentive and professional—she stayed in touch with me through email beforehand, shared helpful information, and made it clear she was ready to assist in any way possible. She met us right at our hotel, which made everything so easy and comfortable from the start. Throughout the tour, she truly went above and beyond—helping us get our transport cards, showing us how to top them up, and guiding us smoothly through the city. The tour itself was excellent. She took us to several key places (including three that were free), and even in between stops, she gave us a mini tour of other sights along the way. Her knowledge of the city was exceptional—she was incredibly informative, engaging, and made everything feel effortless and enjoyable. What we especially appreciated was all the extra insight she shared—recommendations for shopping, dining, and things to do—which made the rest of our trip so much easier to plan. It was such a pleasure having someone so knowledgeable and kind guide us around. This tour made our experience in the city so smooth, enjoyable, and enriching. I would absolutely do this again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience!

This full-day Tokyo bus tour was one of the highlights of my entire trip — and the credit goes entirely to our tour guide, who was a genuine force of nature. 🎌 The most vibrant, knowledgeable, and joyful guide, Sora I've ever had — on any tour, anywhere. Infectious enthusiasm, rich history, local insider knowledge, and genuine warmth — she kept the entire group engaged all day. Perfect pace, every stop felt intentional. This tour exceeded every expectation. Highest possible recommendation.

Our guide, Keiji led us on the Tokyo Private Day Trip walking tour to many of the places we were told to see while in Tokyo including the Meiji Shrine and the Tokyo Tower. Keiji was very kind and shared a wealth of historic and background information at the different sites that we would not have known going on our own, That enhanced our understanding and enjoyment. We recommend this tour to those who would like to see these sites. Be forewarned that in addition to walking for hours, most locations involve going up and down a lot of stairs to get into and out of the sites, as well as the subway trains.

Very interesting hearing so much history. Do not, however, go on a Monday as the local shops they say you will see are closed. That was disappointing, but recovered as we were here in April and got to see the Azeala festival at one of the many shrines we saw. Yoshida was a great tour guide showing us a few things we would never have seen on our own

Yuki was an amazing tour guide for our last stop of the cruise in Tokyo. It was our first time visiting Tokyo, and we came at the perfect time to see the cherry blossoms. Even though it was raining, we still had such a great time exploring the city and using the subway to get around. I had a few specific things I wanted to find, including Onitsuka Tiger shoes and Pokémon cards, and Yuki was incredibly helpful. He knew exactly where to go and made the experience easy and enjoyable. He was also so kind and thoughtful that he even picked up Pokémon cards for us and gifted them to us, which made the day even more memorable. Yuki was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable navigating such a large city for the first time. One day in Tokyo is definitely not enough, and we would absolutely use Yuki again the next time we come back!
