Excellent Tour with Donatella
Donatella was a great tour guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She didn’t take a pause trying to share as much information as possible. Seeing the Pantheon is a must see in Rome mainly because it is one of the oldest buildings to survive in Rome.

NO Pantheon Tour
The tour was OK but we did not get to see the main attraction (the Pantheon) because we were told that the tour company had not purchased the tickets. This was very disappointing because we will not be back in Rome and that’s why we booked the tour

The tour gave a good historical background of the Pantheon and surrounding area, going back to Roman times up to the present day. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and was able to answer questions easily.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. Short tour but worth the extra information about the Pantheon and everyone buried inside

Our tour guide Oriana was charming and very knowledge. We met her at the designated location where she shared stories about herself and life in Rome. We were a small group so it was easy to stay close and easily hear the history and details of the Pantheon. Oriana also share some of her own personal stories and photos relating to the Pantheon. I recommend this tour and guide.

Our guide, Francesca, provided details about the Pantheon from its design to current use from a genuine Roman perspective, with historic and cultural insights that made my visit to this impressive engineering wonder even more remarkable.

Olga was gracious and an expert on all things Pantheon! I lucked out being the only person on the tour, so it was personal and I got to ask all the questions I wanted. Highly recommend this tour.

Don’t miss the Pantheon
Pantheon was spectacular and you wouldn’t want to miss. Nice having the ticket in advance. Guide was really good, but sometimes hard to hear. Headsets would be an inprovement

Larger group tour of the...
Larger group tour of the Pantheon was worth having a guide. We had a small issue with the tickets for some in the group, which the guide managed well. I enjoyed having narration of the history and structure, but we stayed in one spot for all the narration- it would have been nice to move to the areas she was narrating about. Overall I would still recommend.

Extremely knowledgeable guide who made the Pantheon come alive with the telling of its history. The only slight issue was that we were not told in advance where to meet the guide in a large crowded area. The guard at the Pantheon showed us the meeting spot. Smooth sailing after that.

When to visit

Book a bus tour or take a cool walking night tour around the illuminated fountains and buildings to avoid the worst of Rome's heat.
Bring your appetite on food tours of Rome's historical center that pass the Pantheon.
As the Pantheon is an active religious building, flash photography and loud conversations are discouraged.
The Pantheon is free to visit and open every day.
