Beautifully presentation of Brazil. I feel if we knew Portuguese we would have enjoyed it much more.

Amazing Show. Mind blowing in scope.

lawrence_g, Jan 2026
Great show. Started on time, and it's a real experience that's hard to explain. I wish we could have chosen our seats.

Don't book this!

Kari_B, Jan 2026
I booked tickets only, paid here, and when I arrived at the show, they said the tour company never booked our tickets! We had to rebook there and ended up with bad seats. The show is amazing, but you should book directly through the Roxy Show website and just catch an Uber there.

Wonderful show!

Fariba_A, Oct 2025
Wonderful experience. I highly recommend it everyone to go and see the show. The guide was also a very nice guy, picked me up from the hotel on time and dropped me off.

Incredible ❤️

Beautifully represented the diversity of Brazil via different dance forms. Must do if you are seeking an extravagant cultural experience

Very poor transport arrangements

SUNILKUMAR_B, Jul 2025
Please don’t select the drop off and pick up as the charges are very high( anlmost 30£ per passenger when an uber would have costed 2 £) and they transported us in a very uncomfortable car with a group of 2 other passenger. One if us had to sit cramped up in the back seat in the boot

A fantastic show. Non stop dancing by a large no of artists. Such energy, gorgeous costumes. One of the best shows we have attended on holiday. If I visit Rio again I will see the show again

Excellent meal before show. Venue for show had seen better days and the service for drinks beforehand needs great improvement. But the show itself was lively, entertaining and colourful. Very glad that we did this excursion and would recommend.

Lynn L, Jan 2017
Had the Brazilian dinner before hand. Typical Brazilian restaurant with a buffet of side dishes and servers coming around with a variety of meats. Absolutely delicious! Note: beverages including bottled water are extra. The samba show was entertaining and fun. Very colorful. Very loud. Included some of the local martial arts. If you haven't been to one, this was good. But they're all very similar. Definitely enjoyed the evening.

Violeta, Jan 2017
We had higher expectation of this show! It turned to be just an average show in a old and very used hall, with second hands costumes! The dinner was very good with traditional Brazilian BBQ !

Robert H, Jan 2017
Although it's a tourist-oriented show, we enjoyed. It might be the only show in Rio where you can see a summary of Brazilian music and folklore. The music was mostly on tape but they did have several excellent and entertaining musicians playing a variety of percussion instruments. The costumes were very elaborated and colorful. We also enjoyed the gaucho showman with his chains and balls. The venue needs a lot of improvement. It's not well-kept. The show, which began at 10pm, lasted almost 2 hours. They take a lot of pictures of you and try to sell them but, there was never any pressure to buy.

We included dinner in our event. The meal was tasty although a bit rushed. The show was a disappointment. It was about the history of Brazil and there was some samba but not what I was expecting. Also the drinks at samba show were 4 times the price of any other event or restaurant we wen to.

The cast looked bored and the guests also. Nice and lively show, but starts very late at night. Would perhaps be better with a full house.

Wohoooo!!! I learned a lot of Brazilian history inside this performance. Plus beautiful dresses and dancers. Love the way transportation went out too.

Richard S, Aug 2016
We did not do the dinner and it seemed like we were an after thought. We waited at the venue too long. They did not allow us to enter and drink you know consume and we had to wait downstairs. Bad decision by the organizers. As far as the show, the dancers were all great and entertaining but I think the place needed more energy and some of the dancers should have walked around after the show.

The arrangements for dinner and time it took to get there wasn't well organised. The SAMBA evening was a great experience

Melinda B, Jun 2016
We were collected on time and returned to our hotel without any problems. We booked the meal component of this tour and we LOVED the restaurant. The food was great and I would highly recommend the Brazilian BBQ. It was a set price menu consisting of salad then all the meat you can eat served with rice, french fries and onion rings. The dessert was ice cream and fruit salad. Drinks were extra but not over the top. The show itself was caught in a time warp. The venue was old, the table and seating old and the drinks expensive and undrinkable we ordered red wine and couldn't drink it. The routine was not very polished. There were a couple of acts that were entertaining but I think Platform has seen better days. I'm sorry to say it but I could not recommend this show but I could definitely recommend the meal beforehand. Our tour guide spoke excellent English and he was terrific. We really enjoyed his company.

This show was amazing. We really enjoyed the whole experience. Expect amazing costumes and a variety of traditional Brazilian dances. Definitely worth going to see any time of year.

Steven P, Jun 2016
Camila our guide is a fabulous, bubbly, enthusiastic person. Who took us for a pre meal gourmet buffet, the food and local beer Chopp was refreshing. Food very, very filling, This part is highly recommended :- The show is bright and colorful, however if the show had a narrator to explain the story of the show just before each section of dance changed. If we hadn't learned about some of Rio's history via guide. It wouldn't mean much.

Ajay K M, May 2016
Nice enough show. Some parts are good but is not a family show.Lacks artistic excellence and the seats and the Theatre are very basic.Nice enough to go to but would not go again.

Theodoros K, May 2016
Excellent guiding but the show is not as expected! A bit kitch and doesn't last that long. 90 minutes max. However, the dancers and the musicians did their very best to entertain us!

It was great for what it was, the drinks were dear but they were at a great standard and they spoke great English at the venue which is difficult to find whilst out and about in Rio, the show was great the dancers have great energy and keep the cloud involved, Venue is dated but it's about the show not the venue. People of all ages would appreciate this

BusyM, Mar 2016
The show was spectacular and I truly enjoyed it. However, i did not enjoy the dinner. I also noticed hat people who were not a part of the tour had more meat options. I would have rather to spend more for dinner, than to be limited, but I am a foodie, so maybe others wouldn't mind. The guide was okay, he wasn't a great communicatorcalled me a 'girl'. He didn't really check in to make sure all was well. I noticed a group who didn't eat because they were vegetarians. The steak house didn't have enough options to accommodate them, so they requested a refund. Overall, it was okay, but not worth the price. I would have just picked the show by itself.
