What are people saying about Porto

Cannot Recommend This Enough!
We took a ten day trip to Portugal and took a tour almost every single day of the trip. Our guide for the Porto food and wine tour, Marta, was by far the best tour guide we had the entire trip. Friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and able to develop a fast and strong rapport with nearly every person in the group, she was both a wealth of information and a hugely fun addition to the group. We got to sample many of Porto's food traditions -- including the francisinha, cod, sardines, a pastel de nata, and quite a few cheeses and meats -- and drank lots (and lots) of Portuguese wine, port, and ginja. We were all tipsy and having a blast by the end. And to top it all off, the food and drink were great, too! I could not recommend this food tour enough.

Great tour!
Pedro was a great tour guide! The tour was very fun and informative, and I felt we were in safe hands on the windy mountain roads of the Douro Valley. Pedro also shared suggestions for other things to do based on our interests which I really appreciate!

L. Petito was a fabulous guide. It was just my wife and I on the trip. He was friendly, engaged and allowed us time to explore on our own.
He explained the overall trip and what to expect. The views and excitement of crossing the bridge was unparalleled. The quiet walkway along the river was a peaceful experience to enjoy the scenery and Mother Earth.
Petito takes great pride in his homeland and he shared beautiful stories of his life and culture

The boat tour of the 7...
The boat tour of the 7 bridges was the last thing we did before leaving Porto and it was the perfect way to end a couple of fantastic days in Porto. Caroline was such a gracious and knowledgeable host, full of enthusiasm for her city, and we learned a lot of interesting history from her. The snacks and wines were wonderful and the boat was very comfortable and relaxing. This was so much better than cruising on the public boats. Will definitely recommend this to our friends.

Must visit Douro
We had a lovely day. There were 21 in our group but our guide was very friendly and made the effort to speak to everyone individually. The driving was great and felt very safe. The Douro valley is very beautiful and we learned a lot of information in a fun way.

More than just a food tour
Cintia was wonderful. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Not only did she introduce us to excellent food, she took us to unique locations, told us the history of each, found beautiful sites to share along the way and pointed out the unique architectural history of Porto we would never have known about. An altogether amazing experience!

Classic Dishes of Porto
Diogo was a great guide. He took us to numerous spots around downtown, offering classic dishes of Porto at small, family-owned restaurants. His friendliness and knowledge of the history of these dishes really enhanced the experience. Definitely recommend!

You will learn a LOT about Port Wine on this tour!
At first, we didn't know what to make of our guide. He was very sure of himself. That said, as time went on, we actually did learn a few things from him and have a better appreciation of Port Wine than we did. We went to various Port Lodges and the experience was well-worth the money and time. The experience also included some charcuterie, which was nice.

Terrific lunch in Porto
Wonderful from start to finish. Was an interactive experience with terrific hosts. Started in the market obtaining ingredients for the meal as well as a great history lesson regarding food and the culture. The meal was a traditional dish with salted cod in addition to two different types of sausage and a super dessert. The wine was delicious. Our hosts were very friendly and professional. Recommend this experience for folks of all ages and backgrounds.
