We had such a great time with Susanna and her husband Sergio. It was informative and fun. They provided a beautiful snack of cheese, crackers, grapes and white wine and some port wine. Susanna even made homemade pastries. It was a great way to see the bridges and relax. Thanks Susanna & Sergio

Susanna and Sergio are great hosts, very knowledgeable and catered to all requests. They provided a lot of insights about the bridges and landmarks in Porto. The wine and charcuterie board had a great assortment. Also great with children.

Super friendly very knowledgeable lovely couple great boat and lovely refreshments. Great way to spend 2 hours on your own personal tour with spectacular views - we would highly recommend. Sergio and Suzanna made us feel immediately welcome and the time we spent together was easy and comfortable.

How lucky we were to be met by Susanne and Sergio for our Douro River tour. Susanne has an intimate Knowledge of the river and bridges and shared many stories with us. And we were surprised when she brought out wine, cheese and strawberries. It was truly a wonderful time.

We had a really lovely time and would throughly recommend. We were a family of 5 and everyone come away saying how much they enjoyed the trip. They said 2 hours was enough and really enjoyed the wine and snacks provided. We thought it was excellent value of money. Couldn’t fault our hosts who looked after our every need and was very informative.

Suzanne and Sergio made our wonderful Douro River Cruise the highlight of our Porto trip. Suzanne was very knowledgeable and friendly, explaining the history of the city and pointing out the beautiful architecture. Sergio was an excellent captain, driving the boat so we didn't get wet from the sprays of water. We were even treated to glasses of Port and a beautiful charcuterie board to enjoy as we took in the magnificent river views. We would definitely advise anyone who enjoys cruising to take this Douro River Private Tour!

We absolutely LOVED our time with Susanna and her husband on the Douro River Private Tour. She was an excellent guide, and her husband a great driver. We road all the way down the river to the opening of the Atlantic, then back down the Douro. She also prepared a wonderful charcuterie. Overall very relaxing and peaceful for our family.

#1 thing to do in Porto!!! Suzanna and Sergio couldn’t have done more for us! 2hr trip up the river to look at the bridges under the sun!! Snacks provided and drinks. Worth every cent and more

What better way to see some of the sites in the area than by boat! The boat is new, comfortable and well appointed. Our guides were amazing. Lots of shared information about the history of the area. Relaxed and professional. Pleasant music in the background along with refreshments and nibbles. We highly recommended this tour to others.

My daughter and I loved our private 6 Bridges River Tour! Susanna and Sergio were perfect hosts. It felt like luxury compared to the very full boats going by us. We could sit under the shade on our way out and hear clearly as Susanna explained the history of not just the bridges but any sites we had questions about. Then we were able to relax on the front of the boat as Sergio calmly drove the boat back to the marina. We would defiantly recommend this tour!!

Suzanna & Sergio were very welcoming into their gorgeous new boat. We went as far as the river harbor entrance and meandered back under the bridges amidst the tourist boats. Suzanna shared architectural and historical bits about the buildings, bridges and Porto & surrounding towns; sharing a natives knowledge and perspective. Would very highly recommend!

Look no further, book this Douro River and Six Bridges boat tour with SS Amazing Douro. Captains Serge and Susana provide personal and VIP-level service on their private boat. You will know you have picked the best tour when you see other boats packed with people and you have champagne in your hand, a fruit and cheese plate in front of you, and very friendly conversation with the captains. We did three tours in Porto and this was hands down our favorite! They are locals and care very much about providing a special and personalized experience.

We had excellent contact with Susana and Sergio for our 6pm cruise actually starting at 5:30pm to help Susana. It was no trouble to get to the Marina do Freixo at that time. As we had been out to Foz by tram previously we asked to go up the Douro to the east. We were the first to ask for this. The shoreline is much less developed than going towards the sea and under the bridges. We found it relaxing and quiet after our few days in old Porto city. We drank espumante and had cheese, grapes and mini-toasts. Susana pointed out a number of places including river beaches, villages and the first dam and lock on the river. We cruised back into the sunset. A very easy and lovely cruise.

Fantastic few hours with Sergio & Susana! If you’re thinking of booking, just do it, you will not regret it.
We were warmly welcomed aboard and enjoyed 2 hours of cruising along the river, we decided to sit on the front of the boat and Susana was very knowledgeable and kept our champagne topped up!
We would definitely book again if ever back in Porto.
