What are people saying about Porto

There's lots of tours....but take THIS one!
Amazing tour complete with a private boat ride and delicious lunch. Very small group of 8, so the tour felt intimate and personalized. There's a ton of vendors offering tours to Duomo valley, many with very similar itineraries, but this one was simply great. Yes, you pay a bit more to have a more exclusive tour, but being with the same 8 people all day made it so worth it. We arrived as strangers and by the end were exchanging numbers to swap photos from the day. It's worth the extra money.

Excellent tour
Our guide Jose was very good, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We had enough free time in Braga for Brunch, so don’t worry if you miss breakfast. In your hotel. The coach was comfortable and the journey didn’t take too long. Braga and Guimaraes are beautiful places to visit and the Bom Jesus cathedral just outside Braga is stunning and well worth a visit. I would recommend this tour.

We loved our tour of the park, and it was the perfect adventure to have with a child. We loved swimming at the waterfalls, visiting the village, and learning the history of the area. Our guide, Diogo, was very knowledgeable, and ensured we had a great tour.

Great day out
This is a wonderful day out. From start to finish , our excellent guide/driver, Carlos Daniel provided us with expert knowledge of the wines of the Douro valley and kept us amused with his anecdotes. He was very kind and charming and made sure that the group from various countries gelled. The tour was well organised and my request for a gluten free meal was well catered for by the winery where we had lunch. The staff at both wineries were lovely and knowlegable and we learnt a lot about the wine of the region. The scenery en route was spectacular and Carlos Daniel made sure that everyone had perfect photos to remind them of this trip. The small group made for a very comfortable and calm experience . The communication with the team was excellent .Definitely would recommend this tour.

Ringed by UNESCO-listed rivers, valleys, vineyards, and beaches, Porto is the gateway to some of Northern Portugal’s most sought-after natural sights. Guided Porto day trips reveal lesser-known parts of Portugal—including far-flung villages and towns home to medieval monasteries, Baroque churches, and quaint waterways—and allow you to indulge in the region's world-famous wine without worrying about driving afterward. Plus, Porto’s close proximity to the Spanish border means you can even visit an entirely different country without having to learn the ins and outs of its transit system.
