Ricardo was our guide for this day. He was extremely knowledgeable and took very good care of us on our day trip to the mountains. We loved off roading in the mountains to see the Eucalyptus trees. What an amazing time! The suspension bridge was fun, but the walkways are just beautiful by the river. We really enjoyed our day out! The only thing I would say that they could improve upon was the lunch options. The food just wasn’t that good, but we really enjoyed the company of our tour group and had a great day out! The great outdoors!

Guilherme, our guide was a delight! He was very knowledgeable of the area and you could tell he loves nature and deeply cares for the environment. As older tourists, the hike to the lagoon had a few challenges but he never made us feel less. He showed patience and care. This was an adventure so worth the final destination. The waterfall and lagoons at both spots were magnificent and so refreshing after hiking! Lunch in the village was amazing and a great opportunity to try true Portuguese dishes, Muito bem, so delicious. Touring the village was fascinating. Guilherme shared many interesting facts about the community. He gave us a great sense of the history of the area. A nice touch was the opportunity to plant a tree in the National Park!

Great start to the trip!

Santiago was a dream!

Please book this tour! We spent the late morning and afternoon in Santiago and were back by the early evening. We had time to attend mass, eat, shop, and see the museum. Had we not gotten misled, we would’ve had time to see the crypt. Orlando was the special ingredient that made our tour extra special. His restaurant recommendations were fantastic. He taught us a lot about Galicia and played great music on our ride. He is also a phenomenal driver. Please book this tour. You won’t regret it.

The National park is beautiful. The one mile hike/walk to and from the waterfall was comfortable with various things to see. We stopped at a number of viewpoints. Our guide Cristobal made walking Porto fabulous! We had a great group of people, and he was full of information about history, architecture, food and wine. He asked our crew what we wanted to learn about before we left the meeting place and he covered every topic. We also loved the stop at the restaurant where we got tea or coffee and a biscuit. The way to see Porto

Thank you Joao (John) for a great day pedaling with an assist around the city. Fantastic way to see the city of Porto. The highlight was Joao showing us the inner walls and stairs of the Ribeiro neighborhood. Loved seeing everything and hearing about different areas to poke around. Dying to come back to this place now. Truly. Only suggestion: would love to see them occasionally remind us to turn the bike back on after stops and ensure it stays in Turbo mode. Def helps!

Durro Tour 2026

Day started wonderfully with Afonso (our guide) picking us up at our hotel. The drive to the Durro Valley was nondescript, but Afonso was great in filling in history and background for the area. We (3 couples in total) started the day with some pastries and coffee and then enjoyed a nice relaxing boat ride on the Dorro River. Afonso was always concerned about our comfort, experience, and needs. He was actually one of the highlights of the trip. The wine tastings were awesome with a bigger producer and then a smaller one. Lunch was incredible as we were treated to a small local restaurant that didn't have a tourist clientele. Owner was engaging and spoke no English, but incredibly personable and attentive. He made the wine we had for lunch and it's something you will never find in a store. Very unique experience! I would like to thank and acknowledge Afonso. He made the difference in his knowledge of the area, communication skills, and overall concern for our experience. Nicely done!!!
