The boat ride to the whale sharks will be bumpy and if you get motion sickness you will most probably get it here but the people are very nice and helpful if you do end up getting seasick, just something to keep in mind. Other than that the experience was amazing. Everyone got to see the whale sharks even if you were staying on the boat. If you didn’t know how to swim you were still able to do the snorkeling with the guides help. Isla Mujeres was beautiful, and the food and people were so amazing. Overall it was really a once in a lifetime experience!

Wonderful Experience!

Excellent guide! Very knowledgeable about Tulum history and the cenote. You can leave your belongings in the van while you are participating in these experiences. We were very glad to see that Mexico is protecting their waters. No sunscreen allowed. One must shower before entering any of the activities. Food at the end of the experience was very generous! We would like to return to another Viator tour with more cenotes! They are so beautiful and the water is so relaxing! Our driver was outstanding! He was very patient. Brilliant Day Out!

Excellent Day out - our guide, Andreas, was extremely knowledgeable & very friendly. Maxwell was a top notch driver too! Tulum ruins are not to be missed, amazing views and a great piece of history. During our swim we were lucky enough to encounter some sea turtles, along with an array of fish and a stingray! The cenote stop was breathtaking and very peaceful, followed by a lovely lunch. Would definitely recommend.

Cesar and Carlos are the best!!

Where should I start? Carlos and Cesar from SAT Mexico were absolutely fantastic. It was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on a tour. Cesar was the most passionate and caring man you’ll ever meet about the history and deeply meaningful culture of the Mayan people. If you want a fun and engaging experience surrounding the rich culture of Mexico. Cesar and Carlos are your people. The value for money is great, the excursion to the Cenote is a real fun experience with great food and better service. But the highlight of the tour is the visit to the Chichen Itza. Cesar explains all of the intricate details of the historical site in fantastic fashion. Everything you ever wanted to know about the site is in his head, just ask. Everyone should do this trip!

We had an incredible experience on this trip! The mini bus arrived on time and everything was well organised! We had Jorge Luis and I’m sorry I forgot the drivers name but they were both friendly, funny and always made sure we were ok, well hydrated and not hungry! We got complimentary water and snacks on the bus! The trip itself is one everyone should do! The Mayan Ruins were incredible to see! Luis gave us a tour with lots of interesting information and then we had an hour to walk around ourselves! Then we went to the cenote! Which were stunning!!!! We had a Mayan perform a ritual on us! We went into the deepest cave we were allowed in and Luis told us the history and how it all worked! (Pre warning it’s cold but you get used to it!)! The turtles were next! We saw so many turtles it was amazing to see them in their natural habitat! The day we went it was a little choppy at sea but we still managed to see them clearly and quite a few of them! (Even a baby one!) Finally we went to lunch! It was on a lovely secluded beach and the food was delicious! All in all a fantastic trip! Highly recommend!

Issac did a great job, getting us to Chitzen Itza before the crowds and heat and providing a good amount of flexibility to account for how we wanted to spend our time. We had Chilango (Cristian 2) as our guide. He was awesome! Chilango was able to speak English and Spanish for our group. Much appreciated. He learned our names pretty quickly, too! The cenote was beautiful. Water is chilly! Ziplines were fun. We did have three zipines, not five as marketed. For the ATVs bring sunglasses and a mask (or bandana) to protect eyes, nose, and mouth from dirt and debris. Mosquito repellent is a necessity. We wore repellent bracelets, but those did not work well. The last thing, bring a waterproof pouch for your cellphone to use during the cenote tour. Photos are a must inside. Lunch afterwards was ok. It was more like a kids' meal size or an appetizer.

Beautiful Park with Amazing Wildlife and Great Experiences

The park is absolutely beautiful! The animal habitats are spacious and designed to feel completely natural, with flowing streams, waterfalls, and lush vegetation throughout. We especially enjoyed the butterfly house, aviary, dolphins, and tortoises — each area was thoughtfully maintained and easy to explore. Be prepared to walk quite a bit, but the park is easy to navigate by following the colored tiles (blue, red, black, or green) embedded in the walkways. We stopped for lunch at Las Bocas Restaurant (#41 on the map), an open-air spot that turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. We ordered the chicken and steak fajitas, which were absolutely amazing — perfectly seasoned and fresh. My husband enjoyed a cold beer served in a frosty glass, and I had their fresh-squeezed lemonade, which was refreshing on a warm day. The total was around $50 USD, which we felt was an excellent value for the quality and service. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The park also features two rivers you can swim in — one easy and one more challenging. We chose the more advanced one. The first half was smooth and relaxing, but the second half swims against the current, so you’ll need to be a confident swimmer. In most areas, you can’t touch the bottom, so I wouldn’t recommend this one for young kids or weak swimmers. Definitely bring water socks, as some of the rocks you might brush against are sharp and lava-like. Life jackets are required for both rivers, and fins are available if you want them (we chose to go without). There are multiple locker areas for towels and clothes, and you’re allowed to bring your own water bottles — there are refill stations throughout the park. They also sell canned water for about $20 pesos. We purchased our tickets through Viator, and upon arrival, we exchanged the electronic tickets for wristbands at the ticket window (photo ID required). We arrived by taxi right at opening, which was perfect because the park stayed quiet for the first few hours before the bus groups arrived. All in all, this park was a fantastic experience — beautiful scenery, well-cared-for animals, delicious food, and plenty to explore. We’d absolutely recommend it and would love to visit again!
