What To Expect
Make your way to Xplor Park, just outside of Playa del Carmen in the Riviera Maya. Your all-inclusive ticket will get you access to the park’s facilities throughout the day, as well as the chance to try all four of Xplor’s adventure options.
Get behind the wheel of an amphibious vehicle to drive above- and below-ground trails, then paddle a raft through an underground river. Head to the treetops to try a 14-line zipline, hitting speeds of up to 19 miles (30 kilometers) per hour on your way through the course, ending the circuit with a splash and a water landing. Keep swimming through a series of caves, grottoes, and sinkholes, floating just beneath a cavern roof that’s bristling with stalactites.
When you’re ready for a break, simply head to the onsite restaurant for a buffet lunch with unlimited smoothies and juice, the perfect fuel for an afternoon of active fun.
Each activity takes roughly 45 minutes, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the park (or just relax in a hammock) before the day concludes.

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- As a preventive measure, before boarding the bus or accessing to the park, the temperature will be scanned through a digital remote device on every visitor, guest or staff member.
- The minimum age recommended is 5 years. Children aged 5 to 11 pay half the adult ticket (must show ID at the ticket office)
- Children over 55” m but under 12 years of age, must present identification to verify their age. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Bring insect repellent free of the following chemicals to be use in the Park: Benzophenone, Etilhexila, Homosalate, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Octyl Ssalicylate, Octinoxate, Oxybenzone, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane
- Bring cash for incredible souvenirs purchasing.
- The park operates in all weather conditions, Please wear comfortable clothes and watershoes. It is recommended to bring a change of clothes.
- Zipline requirements: Minimum height/weight is 4.5 feet (137 cm) or 88 lbs (40 kg); the maximum weight is 300 lbs (136 kg); maximum waist width is 51 inches (130 cm) and leg width 25 inches (65 cm)
- You can get to the park by using the local transportation system "Colectivo" or by taxi.
- It is not possible to make the change of date the same day of your visit
- In the event of having symptoms such as cough, sore throat, runny nose, and/or red eyes and a temperature exceeding 100.4 F (38 C), our staff reserves the right to refuse to board our transportation or to enter our facilities.

We had the most amazing day at Xplor Park — honestly wish we could do it all over again! From start to finish, everything was incredible. There are so many activities to choose from, so you’re never bored, and it really feels like you get your money’s worth and more.
All the staff were super friendly and welcoming, and they made sure we felt happy, comfortable, and safe throughout the whole experience. You can tell they genuinely care about guests having the best time.
The included lunch was also lovely, with plenty of options and really good quality food — such a nice bonus!
I would highly recommend Xplor to anyone visiting Mexico. It’s such a fun, unforgettable experience! 🌿✨

Adventure park- Lots of fun even for those a little less adventurous. Bring good water shoes (best if they can be tightened- might lose them ziplining.). No need for sunblock or bug spray since you’re mostly underground or covered by foliage.
The lunch is very decent. Lines are not bad even when they mark them “full”.

Overcrowded - lineups at the zip line took over 1.5 hours to undertake. The hammock version was slower, but also fun. Taxis to and from there were also expensive.

Very fun, the park was full of things to do! We didn’t get to do all of the excursions but we did about 5 and still got our moneys worth. The lunch was buffet-style and everything tasted great. Would def visit again.

Fun day, get the transportation included if it’s an option and go as early as you can. Buffet was awesome and the park was clean and safe. Staff was very professional. Water slide was scary but soooo fun!

Nice place and lots to do. Good food. But when one person in the group was ill they refused to give refund or any credit. So admin at this place is not great in accommodating. Neither was Viator as they kept passing excuses in not to provide the refund.

This was an awesome park. We thought no way would there be enough to do for the whole day, and to our surprise there was. The subterranean cenote experience was beautiful, I’m even a little claustrophobic and I wasn’t uncomfortable at all. I was in awe at what an incredible experience it was. The zip lining was totally worth the little wait we had to wait. I’ve been zip lining many times and this was definitely my favorite. Very smooth and seamless. The best part is the park is so big even when there was a wait it was very brief. Like 15 minutes tops. The lunch buffet was also delicious and a great way to get more energy for more xploring! Happy adventures friends, just go!

A long line when we arrived but workers moved it quickly and very organized. Ample lockers. Lunch was excellent and clean area. A lot of walking and stairs throughout. We were fine with it but someone with less mobility would struggle at the park. Zip lines were fun and hammock swing a favorite too. Our kids loved the amphibious vehicles as well. A little disappointed with raft cenote. Uncomfortable seating and lots of jams with other rafters. Overall a fun day and happy we did it!

This is nothing like any other amusement park/ theme park out there. Truly so amazing, the water was around 74/75, so not bad for us Florida natives. All the activities, swimming in the cenote, zip lining, expeditions ect were 100000% worth every penny. It’s so insanely cool, highly recommend!

Such a fun day out! The park itself is incredible, a lot of caves and activities. We were also pleasantly surprised by the buffet. It was huge, with a lot of variety, and the option to go as many times as you like!

This was our second time at Xplor. The only issue I had this time was my waterproof phone case with the strap wasn't allowed on the zipline and it's the same one I took on our first visit and it was fine. My daughters was allowed. So I had to toss a 30us phone case. It takes the entire day from open to close to do each activity once and eat. It's definitely a beautiful park built into nature. We had a great time.

This was the best part of our vacation! When we got there, we thought that the lines would be long everywhere we went. However, the park is so large that we never stood in a line to do an activity. There is SO much to do and explore. This, by far was our favorite excursion we visited.

The "Deer" zipline trail was just right for us - two long ride and a third, final run that ends up touching down in the cenote!
The Underwater Explorer (walking the water filled tunnels) ended up our favorite part. The caves are amazing, the water felt great, and even the people who weren't big swimmers felt comfortable, relaxed, and loved it.
There was a frankly surprising variety of food of very good quality. We really didn't expect much from a themed park cafeteria and simply overwhelmed.
We got there a little later than we planned so we didn't get to go on every attraction (two were closed as well). Xplor is definitely on our list if we ever make it back to the area!

You definitely need a full day to enjoy the whole park. We were there from 10am - 4pm and managed to get round all the activities once (twice on the hammock splash cos it was awesome!). The traffic light system in the ‘heart’ of the park is really useful for seeing how busy the different activities are. The new Water Xlide wasn’t on there though so that was just a ‘wait and see what they say’ job. We were told the queue was 1 hour and that was at around 3pm; it didn’t feel as long though once we got in it. It would be better if transport was included as we ended up spending around €900MXN each way in a taxi. However, our taxi driver on the way there did tell us that the food was amazing and he was not wrong! Honestly some of the best buffet food I’ve ever had! The juice bars were a nice touch too for a little hydration break between activities. The park was clean and well organised and overall a really fun day out!

Fantastic experience, loved every minute of it, made our honeymoon extra special providing lots of memories. Every part of the park was amazing, exhilarating fun. We had the best day ever - highly recommend this experience one definitely not to be missed.

Decent place but bad personal experience. Starting off with ziplines , harness was wayy too tight and was above my hip bones hurting me. After the first zipline I told them it was hurting and if it can be abit loose or atleast on my hip and they said no thats as loose as it can get and everyones is like that. Everyone else & even my fiance didnt have that discomfort. Every zip line I couldnt enjoy I had to hold myself up which I dealt with through all 7 of them. As soon as I got off both of my hips were bruised i’d put pictures but im at the airport. But again that was my personal experience everyone else only minded the hard brakes but imagine the discomfort plus the hard brake at the end. Wouldnt do that again
Atvs were ok , roads very bumpy but was nice driving around the jungle and in the caves
Food was great probably my favorite thing to do there lol
Rafts could have been nice but again my experience wasnt the best as the people infront of me was a small daughter and the mother which were struggling very bad and did not once think to move to the side to let others pass so for majority of the time we just sat there trying to not whack into them. Not sure how to avoid that but luck
Swimming in the cave was nice if you can swim. Water is abit deep i believe 7ft but you have a life jacket at all times but if you arent as good a swimmer like me i kept trying to swim and wouldnt go as fast so I took the short route which I’d recommend the longer one.
Overall I probably wouldnt go again. Nothing from here really wow’d me besides being inside the caves
