** This is the official shared transportation to Cirque Soleil Service** Please make sure that your package indicates in the name "Transfer + Experience" example: "Transfer + Show-Only", those are the packages that include the round trip transportation service. 1. During the booking process, search and select the Hotel or meeting point of your preference. 2.The "Start time" in the confirmation is the schedule of the show NOT the pick up time. 3. Alongside a quirky group of half-human, half-animal assistants, the eccentric naturalist seeks the meaning of life. - **IMPORTANT** At Cirque du Soleil JOYA, All the experiences starts with dinner (duration 1 hour) and then the show starts (1 hour later) the schedule depends on the experience selected.
- Tickets will be printed upon arrival at the theater box office for collection on the day of the performance. You will be required to present your voucher, along with photo ID.
- ID will be requested for alcohol consumption
- Champagne included in food and beverage experiences can be exchanged for red wine, white wine, juice, water or soft drink, directly in the theater with your waiter.
- Casual-formal dress code.
- We have vegan and vegetarian dinner menu options, in case of food restrictions please notify the waiter at the beginning of your dinner.
- The use of flash is not allowed when taking pictures for the safety of the artists and videos no longer than 1 minute.

Very pleasant evening. This is a must when visiting playa del carmen. Great drinks and the service is amazing.
The facility where the event is held is very beautiful and the surrounding grounds were very nice as well. The only complaint was the lack of food choices at the venue. Unless you bout the meal with the event, only popcorn was available for food outside of overpriced drinks.
The show was excellent but we get there way too early (1.5 hours before the show) and there is nothing to do there and no place to beat the heat.
We exchanged our voucher at the theater for our table. I was worried we might get a table in the corner because we didn’t choose our seats, but our table was right next to the VIP section. The dinner was phenomenal and the show was amazing. It was definitely a highlight of the trip and I appreciated saving money through Viator, instead of buying tickets directly through Cirque de Soleil.
If I could give this experience a negative grade, I would. Our “family outing” kicked off with a bus ride so dysfunctional it felt like a social experiment. The driver somehow managed to seat my wife, me, and our two daughters; including one with autism; in completely different sections of the bus. Not one passenger had the basic human decency to shift over until my wife deployed her signature death stare.
And the passengers nearby? Rude, loud, snarky, and marinating the entire bus in a fog of fast food breath that should’ve come with a warning label. They talked over my wife, ignored the fact that our younger daughter was clearly scared sitting away from her mother, and only offered to move after being confronted. The ride itself felt like the suspension had been replaced with pogo sticks.
Then came Cirque; the crown jewel of disappointment. It’s less a show and more a meticulously engineered cash extraction machine. Endless forced photo ops, overpriced everything, and food that tasted like it had given up on life. We paid $800 for an “appetizer and drinks experience” that could generously be described as a scam.
The show? Wonky, awkward, and mostly in Spanish; which would’ve been fine if it were actually good. Instead, it felt like watching a dress rehearsal that never graduated. The staff hovered like helicopter hall monitors, policing every move as if we were about to steal the stage props. No physical programs, no convenience, no value.
The return bus ride was the encore nobody asked for: bumpy, nauseating, and the final confirmation that Viator will never see another dollar from me. And Cirque? Let people use rideshare instead of forcing everyone into the taxi gauntlet.
Final Grade: F.
A masterclass in how to ruin a day.
The show itself was amazing but the staff did not make any attempts to fulfill my request for accessible seating for my elderly parents. We waited in a wrong line for over 30 minutes because there was no clear instructions as to where to stand. Like I said the show itself was amazing but unfortunately because the staff specially Tina (at the entrance of the event) we did not have an inviting and accommodating experience as we would have liked. The theatre of course was dark during the show and my parents had to go up and down stairs with NO guard railing!!!! Beware of this if you decide to take elderly family members.
Most amazing food and show. I should share this experience will everyone that comes to this side of Mexico. The waiters were knowledgeable.
The food was excellent and the show was top notch. The show was a little slow in between set changes.But overall was worth it. I would recommend this show. Every seat in the house is a good one.
This is a must see for all ages. It was a fun show with an Incredible array of talent. The service was efficient and courteous and very well run.

The venue was incredible and the performers amazing. A wonderful story line and easy to understand in english and spanish. We did the appetizer ticket and would have been just fine without. The show is family friendly and only 80 mins GO ENJOY!
Great show! Easily on par with other Cirque shows I’ve seen. Family friendly. Beautiful location. Meal and service were excellent. What’s not to like?
Found the prices for drinks really expensive and the photos even though good did not warrant the price asked for. Was really looking forward to this experience but did not live up to our expectations at nearly £300 for 2 people. One positive was the transport.
The show itself was amazing ! I love Cirque du Soliel ! The experience/ venue was great . There was live music afterwards .

Wouldn’t purchase this experience again on Viator unless I needed transportation bc Viator prices are significantly higher than prices at the venue. Also communication with Viator is always a headache ! Lastly, I would skip the appetizers , as they are not appetizers as described it’s more like hors d'oeuvres and I didn’t like any of them .
Redeeming the voucher at the box office went off without a hitch. There is a slight risk you get assigned bad seats since Viator doesn't let you choose them versus booking them direct, but we were given great seats. The dinner service was great and very attentive. Dinner itself was also great, everything was good except I wish the desserts were a little better. The presentation of all the food was unique and camera worthy. The show itself was fun and the performers were very talented. I believe it lasted for around 1 hr 15 min. Highly recommend.

When bought tickets it’s said Red Tide drinks on us but after seated and asked the waiter, he said no it’s not included. It’s misleading information was given.
Show was good but waiter never came back with our drinks and never saw him again through the whole show.
Everything was fantastic...the transfer was on time, the venue is amazing, the dinner was delicious and the show was amazing!

This was our third time to see Joya, and our friend's first time. We have enjoyed the performance every time and there have been a couple of new performances in each show. We do the preferred seats with appetizer package. The only caution I would add is not to order the bottled water, which was 20.00 US a bottle.
Great for most ages and its a night you will remember. The only thing I say is get the meal looked like a really missed out from what I saw

Very entertaining show--especially for kids. Although the dialogue is mostly in Spanish, some actors say their lines in both Spanish and English. The acrobatics were amazing.
