What a great excursion! I did this as a solo traveler and had the absolute best time. I have to say this tour is LONG. So, please be ready for a full day experience. The time does not include the time picking up guests at the different resorts. I happened to be in the hotel furthest away which meant I was the first picked up and the last to be dropped off. Checko was an amazing guide! He was funny but also very supportive. He checked on me as a solo traveler to make sure I was OK and also checked in with those who were nervous about swimming. He truly made the experience top notch. The food was so good however it was late in the day, so make sure you have a hearty breakfast and pack some snacks. The crew did provide us with bananas and granola bars for those who needed a snack before lunch. Also at our stop in Tulum, we had time to grab a bite if needed too. So, you won't go starving. My absolute favorite part was the cenote experience. So so beautiful. While you cannot take photos the memories will last forever. Also, please do not buy the photos. They are so over priced and there is no guarantee on when you'd receive the photos.

The Tulum portion was good I wish our guide was a little bit more experienced because we heard other guides giving very detailed information and our tour guides seem to be reading off the plaques. the cenote portion was one of the best experiences my family and I have ever had and for this our tour guide was fantastic ! He knew a lot about the cenote which was underground . The snorkeling portion was a little unorganized and there were a lot of people there but the fish were plentiful and it was a beautiful setting. We thought lunch on the beach sounded fantastic except the beach was filled with seaweed you couldn't go on the beach except where you're eating under the tent. The road to get to the beach was atrocious and took forever so we could've done without that drive to the Cancun adventures own special beach for lunch, because while the lunch was good and the service was good it wasn't worth the drive and the smell of the beach. Overall the cenote and the Tulum ruins made the day well worth it it was a small group 14 of us on a especially Hot day our tour guide had snacks and water for us all throughout the day and if there's one thing that you absolutely do it is visit an underground Sonoda while you are in Mexico it is well worth it

Great trip Tulum was beautiful and getting into the Cenote was the best. The snorkeling was ok. Our driver that picked us at the hotel was a very aggressive dangerous driver. All the passengers in the van were scared. When we arrived at the cenote they did not allow us to take pictures or take our camera. They took several pictures of my family and sold us the digital pics for 180 dollars. Talk about gouging and taking advantage. I bought one pic for 50 dollars. Yes I was upset. The snorkeling was nice but it was quick and didn’t see many fish.
Mari_D, Jul 2026
Excellent guide! Very knowledgeable about Tulum history and the cenote. You can leave your belongings in the van while you are participating in these experiences. We were very glad to see that Mexico is protecting their waters. No sunscreen allowed. One must shower before entering any of the activities. Food at the end of the experience was very generous! We would like to return to another Viator tour with more cenotes! They are so beautiful and the water is so relaxing! Our driver was outstanding! He was very patient. Carlos - Driver & Chewbacca - Excellent Guide!!!!

Great experience overall. Ruins were cool. It was HOT.
Cenote was WILD. I mean, just in awe. Lagoon snorkeling was cool too.
Our guide was the best. You could tell he loves what he does. Food was decent.

Felipe and Louis were our diver and guide and the were both amazing. Although the whole day was completely amazing, the cenote we went to was the highlight of the day. Lunch was great. We all agreed this was a great tour. Thank you.

We’re thrilled to hear you had such an awesome day in Mexico and that Felipe and Luis helped make your Tulum and cenote experience so memorable. It’s great to know the cenote was the highlight of your day and that you also enjoyed the lagoon snorkeling and lunch.
We truly appreciate your kind words and are so happy the whole tour felt amazing from start to finish. We’ll be sure to share your feedback with Felipe and Luis, they’ll be very happy to hear it.
We hope to welcome you back soon for another incredible adventure!

The magical Cenote was very impressive! For me one of the best experiences of the trip. Just breathtaking. The snorkeling was not good for us because of the time of year. We went in mid June and the ocean was kicking up seaweed and debris so we were unable to see very much at all. It was still fun but that experience I would reserve for a different month. From what I'm told between December and mid April would have been much better for that.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We are delighted to hear that the Magical Cenote was one of the highlights of your trip and that you found it so breathtaking. These natural wonders truly create unforgettable memories, and we're thrilled you enjoyed exploring it.
We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the snorkeling conditions. As you mentioned, visibility can vary throughout the year due to natural ocean conditions, including seaweed and currents. While we're glad you still had fun, we understand that the experience was not as vibrant as you had hoped.
Thank you again for your valuable insights and for choosing Cancun Adventures. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure and perhaps an even clearer snorkeling experience in the future!

Everything was fantastic. Contact the day before to confirm pick up. Pick up at hotel was super easy. Guide was very detailed (Silvino), he explained everything before we got to places and what to expect. Told us what was included and what not to get trapped paying for. The van provided water and snacks. The van had AC which is such a blessing. Going in June was super hot.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for your wonderful review!
We're delighted to hear that everything was fantastic from start to finish. It's great to know that the communication prior to the tour and the hotel pickup process made your experience smooth and stress-free.
We're especially pleased that Silvino's detailed explanations and helpful tips enhanced your day, ensuring you felt prepared and informed every step of the way. It's also wonderful to hear that the air-conditioned transportation, water, and snacks helped keep everyone comfortable during the June heat.
Thank you for choosing Cancun Adventures and for recognizing Silvino's outstanding service. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure in the future!

Ruins were great, along with guided information.
The Cenote was breathtaking, and a unique experience to swim in.
Transportation could use some help.
There were driving way too fast, and almost got into an accident.
The air conditioner was also not up to par.
For the price of this excursion, it should be better.
You may not take your own photos in the Cenote.
The only option is to buy their overpriced photo packages.
They also don’t take photos through the whole experience, so you miss capturing the best moments.
A bit of a disappointment.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us.
We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed exploring the Tulum ruins and appreciated the guided information provided during the tour. We're also delighted that the cenote experience left such a positive impression and became one of the highlights of your day.
At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the aspects of the experience that did not meet your expectations. Guest safety and comfort are extremely important to us, so we are concerned to learn about your observations regarding the transportation and air conditioning. Please know that your comments will be shared with the appropriate teams for review and follow-up.
We also understand your disappointment regarding the photography policy at the cenote and the limited opportunities to capture personal memories from the experience. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as feedback like yours helps us evaluate areas where we can improve communication and the overall guest experience.
Thank you again for choosing Cancun Adventures. We truly value your insights and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more seamless and memorable experience in the future.

The driver picked us up at the scheduled time and was very professional we picked up 3 additional groups before finding our tour guide Hazel who was awesome. He explained all the Mayan history with great detail and enthusiasm.
The Mayan ruins were very interesting. If you burn cover up. Bothered labor a lot of shade.
The cenote was perfect after a hot day exploring. The snorkeling was okay didn’t get to see many fish.
The provided lunch was excellent with 3 varieties and accommodated allergies and preferences
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your Tulum, cenote, and lagoon adventure.
It’s wonderful to know that your transportation experience was smooth and professional, and that Hazel helped bring the fascinating history of the Mayan civilization to life with such enthusiasm and knowledge. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with him.
We’re also happy to hear you enjoyed exploring the Tulum ruins, cooling off in the cenote after a warm day, and savoring the beachside lunch. Our team strives to accommodate different dietary needs whenever possible, so we’re glad the meal options met your expectations.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the snorkeling experience. Marine life sightings can vary depending on natural conditions, but we’re pleased that the rest of the day provided so many memorable moments.
Thank you for choosing Cancun Adventures. We hope to welcome you back soon for another unforgettable experience in the Riviera Maya!

First of all, Damian (our tour guide) and Carlos (our shuttle driver) were two of the nicest and amazing people we’ve ever met. They explained every step, made sure everybody was comfortable and having a great time.
The cenote was an experience like no other. You won’t be too claustrophobic, as it’s not that tight of a space. Amazing views and beautiful water. The lagoon was also amazing, we got to see tons of fish and float around.
The lunch they serve was also the best burrito I’ve ever had.
Overall, 10/10 experience.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re truly delighted to hear that your Tulum, cenote, and lagoon adventure was such a memorable experience from beginning to end.
Damian and Carlos will be incredibly happy to know they made such a positive impact on your day. Providing attentive, friendly, and comfortable service is something our team takes great pride in, and your kind words perfectly reflect the experience we strive to create for every guest.
It’s also fantastic to hear how much you enjoyed the cenote and lagoon snorkeling experience. The beauty of these natural wonders is truly unforgettable, and we’re so glad you felt comfortable and able to fully enjoy every moment. And of course, we love knowing the beachside lunch earned the title of “best burrito ever”!
Thank you again for choosing Cancun Adventures. We hope to welcome you back very soon for another 10/10 adventure in paradise.

Can not wear any type of sunscreen except at Tulan. Price of photos is crazy. Transportation is good. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed your day in Tulum and that our transportation service and guide helped make the experience comfortable, informative, and enjoyable.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the sunscreen restrictions and photo pricing. The sunscreen policy is in place to help protect the delicate ecosystems of the cenotes and natural areas we visit, and we understand it can sometimes be an adjustment for guests. We truly value your feedback regarding the photo packages as well, as comments like yours help us continue evaluating the overall guest experience.
It’s wonderful to know that despite these points, your guide’s professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge left such a positive impression.
Thank you again for choosing Cancun Adventures. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another memorable adventure in the Mexican Caribbean!

Experience was nice but I almost passed out at Tulum since I couldn't bring water into the park. Senior patrons should be informed on how much walking and climbing is required. Had terrible accident and had to be hospitalized. Guide was excellent and helped considerably. Also, bought photos but never received them because of aforementioned emergency.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. While we’re glad to hear that you found the overall tour enjoyable and that your guide was supportive and helpful during such a difficult situation, we are truly sorry to learn about the medical emergency you experienced during your visit to Tulum Archaeological Zone.
Your health and safety are extremely important to us, and we sincerely regret that the heat and physical demands of the site became overwhelming. We greatly appreciate your feedback regarding clearer communication for senior guests about the amount of walking, climbing, and weather conditions involved in the excursion. Comments like yours are very valuable and help us improve how we prepare guests before the tour.
We are also very sorry to hear that you did not receive the photos you purchased due to the emergency situation. Please contact our customer service team with your reservation details so we can assist in locating and sending your photos if available.
Most importantly, we truly hope that you are recovering well and feeling much better now. Thank you again for your honest feedback and for recognizing the efforts of your guide during such a stressful experience.

The tour is listed with a duration of 6 1/2 hours but it was a full ten hours, which was a disappointment because we were looking for a shorter day. The ruins were, of course, interesting but it was too hot to truly enjoy. The cenote swim was the highlight and the guide was very knowledgeable. She did, however, tell us we could not apply sunscreen before snorkeling at 1 pm, which predictably led to a bad sunburn for several of us. We believe she personally is trying to protect the natural habitat but it was presented as if it wasn't allowed at the lagoon. The snorkeling was the least exciting stop with few fish, clouded water, and rocks. Anyone who has ever snorkeled will find this underwhelming. Lunch was a long drive to the tour company's private property for mediocre food. All in all, would have preferred the tour to end after the cenote swim.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your experience. We truly appreciate your honesty, as it helps us continue improving our tours and guest experience.
We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the cenote swim and found the guide knowledgeable, as well as appreciating the historical significance of Tulum Archaeological Zone. At the same time, we sincerely regret that the overall duration of the tour did not match your expectations based on the advertised timing. We understand how disappointing that can be, especially when planning your vacation schedule around a shorter excursion.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the snorkeling stop and lunch experience. Every guest has different expectations and previous snorkeling experiences, and we understand that the lagoon conditions and marine visibility may not have provided the experience you were hoping for that day.
Most importantly, we are very sorry to hear about the sunburn issue. Our team encourages guests to avoid traditional sunscreen before entering sensitive natural environments in an effort to help protect the reefs, cenotes, and local ecosystems. However, we understand your concern, and we agree that guest comfort and safety, including clear communication about sun protection alternatives such as reef-safe sunscreen, UV shirts, or timing recommendations are extremely important. We will review how this information is communicated to future guests to avoid misunderstandings.
Your feedback regarding the pacing and sequence of the tour is also very valuable, and we will share it with our operations team as we continuously evaluate ways to improve the overall experience.
Thank you again for choosing Cancun Adventures and for providing such thoughtful and constructive feedback. We truly appreciate it and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

We had a great time. Mario was awesome. Really enjoyed Tulum/Cenote. Lagoon was ok and lunch was too far away and too late. The real negative was the length of driving between places and the horrible roads
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much for your review! We’re happy to hear you had a great time with the girls and that Mario helped make the experience enjoyable.
We’re glad you loved Tulum and the cenote, and we also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the lagoon, lunch timing, and transportation between locations. We understand that travel times and road conditions can make for a long day, and your comments are very valuable as we continue improving the overall experience.
Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back soon for another adventure!

I would HIGHLY recommend not booking this! Unless you like riding in a hot van that stinks like dirty diapers and they pack you in like sardines. We were so jam packed I had to get off the bus and taxi back to the resort. We asked for a different bus or ride to take us to the excursion we paid 340.00 for and they refused. I would recommend booking through your resort or a different company.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and understand how uncomfortable and frustrating this situation must have been.
Guest comfort and safety are extremely important to us, and we regret that the transportation did not meet your expectations. We also apologize that we were unable to provide an alternative solution at the time.
Your comments are very important to us and will be shared with our operations team as we continue working to improve the overall guest experience and transportation logistics.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.

Our tour guide David was fantastic, Tulum was incredible, the Cenote was magical, and snorkeling was a lot of fun (we saw a stingray)! The lunch at the end was very good as well. Only complaint was that we could not take our phones into the Cenote supposedly because of how sacred it is, yet there were locals there with cameras charging for their own pictures
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed Tulum, the cenote, and snorkeling—how amazing that you saw a stingray! We’ll also be sure to pass your kind words along to David.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the cenote policy. Restrictions on personal devices are set to help preserve the site and respect its cultural significance, while authorized photographers operate under specific guidelines. We understand how this can feel inconsistent and truly value your perspective.
We hope to welcome you back soon for another unforgettable adventure!

Everything was clearly communicated as far as what to expect. I enjoyed the sharing of history and facts by the tour guide both en route and during the stops. The tour moves quickly, but I do also feel we had adequate time at each stop.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and the way you were treated—this is not the level of service we stand for.
All of our guests should feel welcome and respected at all times, and we sincerely apologize if this was not the case during your tour. Your comments are very important, and we will be addressing this with our team to ensure it does not happen again.

This was absolutely great. There was a very good ratio of guides to travelers. Two groups totaling 12 people had a dedicated guide and driver. My kids are 9, 10 and 17 and this was absolutely perfect for everyone. The only thing to be aware of is that you cannot take pictures in the cenote, which is very unfortunate. The company has a dedicated photographer and they sell very expensive and inflexible packages unfortunately. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s better if you know beforehand.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you and your family had such a great experience and that the tour was enjoyable for all ages.
We’re glad you appreciated the small group setup and dedicated team. We also truly value your feedback regarding the cenote photo policy—these rules are in place to protect the site, but we understand your perspective and appreciate you sharing it.
We hope to welcome you and your family back soon for another unforgettable adventure!

Tulum, Cenote and lunch were amazing! We could’ve skipped snorkeling as there was only some tropical fish and then it was just rock with moss on it but no reef. If it were the three activities I’d give this a 5 star review. Also, the tour says 6 1/2 hours but it was 11 hours before we got home.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much for your feedback! We’re very happy to hear you enjoyed Tulum, the cenote, and the lunch—those are definitely highlights of the experience.
We appreciate your comments about the snorkeling and understand that conditions and marine life can vary. We also recognize your concern regarding the duration of the tour. Travel time and logistics can extend the overall day, and we will continue working to ensure this is communicated as clearly as possible.
Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future!

We were only in Mexico for a few days, staying in Playa del Carmen, and this tour was a great way to experience the history and culture of the area in a limited amount of time. We especially enjoyed the Tulum archaeological site and the cenote. Our guide, Esteffany, was really wonderful and kind (and funny!) and the driver Orlando was great too. My partner and I didn't participate in the snorkeling activity, but we enjoyed just sitting by the lagoon and watching some of the fish while the group did that. I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen or Cancun.

A fun full day! This tour and our guides Enrique10 and driver Miguel made the day amazing. Ruins, Cenotes, Lagoon, beach club, and back before dinner.

Looks great—this response is perfectly written: warm, appreciative, and inviting. It hits all the key points (gratitude, staff recognition, highlights, and a return invitation) while keeping a friendly tone.
If you wanted to tighten it slightly (optional), you could make it a bit shorter:
Thank you so much for your great review! We’re thrilled you had such a fun and action-packed day.

It is a good trip and lots to do. The only thing is you can’t bring a camera into the caves. You will need to bring an underwater phone or camera to take photos. Our tour guide could have let us spend another 15 minutes or so snorkeling and that would have been wonderful. Lastly, if we had an additional 20 minutes in Tulum to shop around after our first top that would have been great. We really didn’t get a chance to buy much. Overall it was a great experience. I was with a smaller group and loved it. I would do it again for sure. Totally worth the cost. Just book it and enjoy the trip.
