Tyson_A, Apr 2026
Our tour guide David was fantastic, Tulum was incredible, the Cenote was magical, and snorkeling was a lot of fun (we saw a stingray)! The lunch at the end was very good as well. Only complaint was that we could not take our phones into the Cenote supposedly because of how sacred it is, yet there were locals there with cameras charging for their own pictures

Everything was clearly...

Lori_C, Apr 2026
Everything was clearly communicated as far as what to expect. I enjoyed the sharing of history and facts by the tour guide both en route and during the stops. The tour moves quickly, but I do also feel we had adequate time at each stop.

Do not recommend staff is rude.

vickey_f, Apr 2026
Poor! Unprofessional staff. Very rude. I went to travel with family and the male with the long a Hair told us if you couldn’t do some stuff should have never booked. Keep in mind my family wanted to do the excursions I however only wanted to tag along. But it was a bother to them even though I paid for it.

Great family experience- highly recommend

Jennifer_H, Apr 2026
This was absolutely great. There was a very good ratio of guides to travelers. Two groups totaling 12 people had a dedicated guide and driver. My kids are 9, 10 and 17 and this was absolutely perfect for everyone. The only thing to be aware of is that you cannot take pictures in the cenote, which is very unfortunate. The company has a dedicated photographer and they sell very expensive and inflexible packages unfortunately. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s better if you know beforehand.

Wonderful tour! More than tour time online!

Alexandra_P, Mar 2026
Tulum, Cenote and lunch were amazing! We could’ve skipped snorkeling as there was only some tropical fish and then it was just rock with moss on it but no reef. If it were the three activities I’d give this a 5 star review. Also, the tour says 6 1/2 hours but it was 11 hours before we got home.

Micael was our tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Jerry was our driver and kept us on schedule. Music they played was good, gave us light snacks on the van. Overall great experience!

We were only in Mexico...

Farah_M, Feb 2026
We were only in Mexico for a few days, staying in Playa del Carmen, and this tour was a great way to experience the history and culture of the area in a limited amount of time. We especially enjoyed the Tulum archaeological site and the cenote. Our guide, Esteffany, was really wonderful and kind (and funny!) and the driver Orlando was great too. My partner and I didn't participate in the snorkeling activity, but we enjoyed just sitting by the lagoon and watching some of the fish while the group did that. I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen or Cancun.

Top Notch

Danielle_D, Feb 2026
Micael was a fantastic guide with lots of great information about where we went. The tour was the best I've experienced. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Everyone kept saying "wow!" everywhere we went. Spectacular!

Perfect day

Katy_J, Feb 2026
Just book it. Everything was perfect. The guides were amazing and informative. The cenote was our favorite part of the day.

Full day of adventure

Candace_B, Feb 2026
It is a good trip and lots to do. The only thing is you can’t bring a camera into the caves. You will need to bring an underwater phone or camera to take photos. Our tour guide could have let us spend another 15 minutes or so snorkeling and that would have been wonderful. Lastly, if we had an additional 20 minutes in Tulum to shop around after our first top that would have been great. We really didn’t get a chance to buy much. Overall it was a great experience. I was with a smaller group and loved it. I would do it again for sure. Totally worth the cost. Just book it and enjoy the trip.

Experience this!

Kha_H, Feb 2026
You should try this! It was an amazing experience. Our travel guide, Santiago, was helpful and informative!

Wonderful trip

Nelda_K, Feb 2026
Had a great time! Santiago and Mike was our guide and driver. Very fun and friendly. Lot’s of knowledge and experience for the tour. Felt very safe and comfortable with them. Would definitely recommend it. Food was delicious and a lot of it. They really went out of their way to make it a great day for us.

Great places but too rushed

Lea_V, Feb 2026
The trip was very well organised, and the activities and locations we visited were absolutely incredible, 10/10 on that front. The cenote and lagoon were real highlights, and it’s clear a lot of effort went into planning the itinerary. However, the overall experience felt quite rushed at times, which took away from fully enjoying these amazing places. The guide also came across as a bit patronising, which affected the atmosphere of the tour. Additionally, after paying $100 for professional photos, it was disappointing that we had to chase multiple times to actually receive them. They were not delivered within 24 hours as promised, but only after more than a week of follow-ups. Considering the high price, the photos were also taken very quickly and felt rushed. This was especially frustrating as we were not allowed to bring our own cameras to the cenote and lagoon. For these reasons, while the destinations themselves were fantastic, I am rating the overall experience 3 out of 5.

Tulum was terrific and so...

Nancy_M, Jan 2026
Tulum was terrific and so were the cenotes. Our guide and driver were fantastic. It was a cloudy cool day so the snorkeling wasn’t the best, no turtles. What surprised us was the length of drives down very rough roads. The lunch wasn’t until 4pm which was later than expected. The whole day was more like 8+ hours and then travel back to the drop off even longer. We were also in wet suits on the bus so the seats were wet once we were able to change. Uncomfortable seats too. I’d say too much for one day given the length of time between places.

Fun day

Amanda_C, Jan 2026
Bring your own towels and lunch is late in the day so bring your own sack lunch or protein snacks if you want them. Overall, the day was long, mostly all fun (other than the quite bumpy ride) fun was had. Yes, we would do it again. Gilberto was a great driver. Pulled a long day. Felix was funny and kept us entertained. We would have liked more information on culture overall, more info sharing!

An abandoned child left to find for herself

Reginald_W, Jan 2026
Apparently late at a pickup point. But left with her phone, wall t camera and possessions. Alone, terrified. No way to join the shuttle at the remote. No way to get back to the hotel.8m Had to bribe a stranger to take her to the hotel and come to her room to be reimbursed at excessive cost. No help available…No contingency plan. Irresponsibility, , totally unnecessary, bordering on criminal. THATS HOW VULN TABLE YOUNG WOMEN GET KILLED IN MEXICO

Fantastic guide, memorable tour, long day but worth it! Bring towels!!

Cheryl_D, Jan 2026
Lots of pros: well organized and fun tour for adults, teens and kids who can swim, small group 12 in a van/3 parties so pickup was fast. BEST part was our guide Lalo and driver Jajo. Lalo was super knowledgeable and entertaining, and he cares deeply about cultural and human connections. He taught us a lot about the history of Mayan culture, Mexico and its amazing people. Cons: worst part was that we had no towels and were freezing after 2 cold swim (same for other family with 4 younger kids who were real troopers). We all assumed Cancun Adventures would provide towels… I checked listing and re-read emails they sent and no mention of towel. They could rent out towels for extra revenue or include note to bring ours (I would not hesitate to use hotel beach towels but the hotel did say no towels allowed on tours). Tulum was amazing, not too far (1hr50min each way from Cancun) and well preserved, breathtaking views, and Lalo explained everything well. Next stop Cenote cave swim was incredible. Phones not allowed and they have pro photogs inside which was fun, but they disclosed afterwards the package including 3 locations was usd 180 (or 140 just cenote). They offered to lower price but it already felt like price gouging… 2 out of 3 parties did not order it. They could have made more at $70-90. Next stop Akumal open cenote/lagoon snorkeling was fun and nice fish. I think there are better snorkeling sites but this was a nice, easier swim in calm waters. Just the no towel freezing part that made me very uncomfortable, but the shop sold us 2 thin microfiber for $30 each and it was better than nothing. Last stop was lunch at their beach club (no swim). Food was great but it was late in the day (3/4pm) so bring food if you’re staying in all-inclusive resort (the van has water, bananas and pineapple cereal bar that was ok). We left hotel at 7:10am and got back at 6/6:30pm. I highly recommend the tour but make sure the itinerary works for your group and BRING TOWELS!!!

Great tour! We'll organized!

Renee_C, Jan 2026
Great tour, we'll organized and so much education and fun! Lunch happens quite late in the trip so make sure you eat before so u r not hungry during the excursions

Fabulous activities and guides

Anna_S, Jan 2026
Excellent activities, guide, driver, scheduling. If you suffer from motion sickness--the full day of activities requires a long time in the van, sometimes with bumpy dirt roads. My daughter and husband had a tough time with the full day of travel, though loved the activities. I loved the whole thing!

Great trip with 3 highly recommended activities

Jun_W, Dec 2025
It was a great tour overall. Good itinerary that covers 3 major attractions, all provide distinct and exciting experiences. Guide is friendly, and accompany the group closely, including into the waters of cenote and snorkeling lagoon, and frequently explain the surroundings.

A Varied Experience with a Competent Guide

Jeff_K, Dec 2025
The time at Tulum was underwhelming. Our guide did a good job, but it was hard to get perspective. The visit to El Sueño cenote was amazing. Swimming through a cave is a cool experience. You’re not allowed to take your own photos. The snorkeling in the lagoon was great. There were many beautiful fish. The tour operator provided nice towels. A member of our group didn’t feel well, so we asked the guide to return us to our resort rather than take us to the beach club for lunch. The cenote was the most memorable experience of the day.

It didn't communicate with us in good terms

Arlene_P, Dec 2025
I did not recieved any text that said pick up time at 7 am. It just said be ready at 7 am. They called me but I can't entertained international calls. They did not ask out hotel desk that we stayed to find us.

Fantastic!

Pulkit_S, Dec 2025
My wife and I are traveling to Mexico for the first time and took this tour today. I am not a very strong swimmer and our guide Miguel was so helpful throughout and made me feel safe at all times when we were in the water. We forgot towels, but Miguel was prepared with extras. He gave us snacks after the first stop. The activities are fun and very well planned. The hotel pick up was prompt and we had a great day. Highly recommend!! Note: please carry refillable water bottles to Tulum ruins since they have banned single use plastic and made us trash our water bottles.

A Great Day of Mixed Adventures

Ronald_C, Dec 2025
It was a great mix of adventures. Started with the tour of Tulum. Then a wonderful cenote float. I am claustrophobic in general but had no issues with the exploration through the stalactites. Then ended with a fun snorkeling tour of an ocean adjacent lagoon. Lots of fun, curious and playful fish. Our guide was fantastic.

Be prepared of a full...

Karen_W, Dec 2025
Be prepared of a full scheduled tour (than the relaxed Cancun beach days) as described, four activities in one day tour. Tulum, cenote, and the lagoon snorkeling were good. The beachside lunch was too simple, lunchbox style and poor quality, not reflected the price of the tour. Morning transportation to the tour office from the hotel was crowded. The van was squeezed with 10 people (full capacity).

A day of making memories

Kate_B, Nov 2025
Such a wonderful day out, very well organised and Gato our tour guide was phenomenal. Very physical day with walking and swimming but the cenote was amazing, it is a shame they don’t let you take phone and the photos they take are so expensive but that was the only thing I could criticise. Well done Cancun Adventures on a memory filled day.

Good experience best guides don’t miss the cenotes.

peter_g, Oct 2025
Cenotes were absolutely the best part of the experience. Tulum was breathtaking, but I have seen other similar ruins. The snorkeling was good, but unfortunately, there were so many other inexperienced snorkelers that it felt like driving in rush-hour traffic. I got run over more than once by someone with fins and elbows.. no consideration for anyone near them just to see a fish. The best part of the tour were the guide and the driver, Gato and Adrian. Some of the most professional excursion guides I have ever seen with no thought of anything, but the safety and comfort and enjoyment of their charges. I give them an 11 out of 10.

Tulum, Cenote, Snorkeling, and Lunch

James_P, Aug 2025
Communication and logistics were flawless. It was a full day. Visited Tulum ruins with our knowledgeable guide Cory. Updated access since we visited in 2019. Next up was a cenote, the water was cool and refreshing. A few fish and the occasional bat to keep us company. Continued the day with snorkeling in a lagoon with hundred of colorful fish. Water was brackish, warm ocean water mixed with cold spring water. Saw Nemo and Dory. Finished the day with a wonderful lunch on the beach. A coatimundi stopped to watch us eat, hoping for a handout. All in all, a SUPER trip. A+
