Tough but worth it!
Once in a lifetime beautiful memories! The morning boat ride was very bumpy - people with back problems or poor balance would struggle. Swimming with those enormous creatures is awe-inspiring though! Just be prepared to be sore and sunburned after! The reef snorkel was also 10/10, and our guide was great!!

Once in a lifetime experience!
This experience was a 10/10! Our guide Angel was the best! He was super knowledgeable about the turtles and took us to the best spots to see them! I even got the chance to touch one! I highly recommend this tour and asking for Angel as your tour guide!

Awesome tour
Great experience. The tour guys are fantastic and know a lot about the Mexican history and the culture. The trip to the Mexican village was amazing. You start appreciating your current living style once you see how locals live in the village. The buggies are good and take the bumpy road very well. It is a rough and dirty ride, so make sure to wear goggles and bandana. Senotes have a crystal clear water is very private. The trip definitely worth the money

Best combo package
“The travel company was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. We visited the Tulum ruins, and the cenote caves were the highlight—absolutely stunning and unforgettable. The turtle experience was just okay, but overall the trip was still worth every penny. I would definitely recommend it.”

Pirates!
I would describe it like speedboating through the Caribbean with a bunch of merry pirates. They definitly have their sea legs as they danced and climbed all over the boat.
You can tell Gabby and the crew put their heart and soul into their jobs. Even though they were pirates, you knew you taken care of and made sure you were safe. The island of Isla Contoy is paradise. Untouched by humans and the water is prestine.
I booked this tour because of the high reviews. I'm going to add me to this list of satisfied customers.

Fantastic Experience
This was a fantastic experience! Alex met us at the 7-11, and he took us to the beach to meet Raymundo, our snorkeling guide. Both gentlemen were very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I got to see a couple of sea turtles as well as several kinds of colorful fish. The pictures Raymundo took of the turtles were amazing! Way better than anything I could have gotten on my own. I would highly recommend this package to anyone looking for a private snorkel tour with pictures included.

Great guide, great experience!
Excellent experience. Heriberto was friendly and very knowledgeable about Tulum, Mayan culture, and the local area. Driver was great and stayed with the van the entire time while Heriberto led the tour. They were patient and flexible, and we were never pressured for time in any way. It felt like we could have spent much longer at each location, but we were organically finished in about six hours as advertised. Would recommend without hesitation!

Great day
It was a very long day so be prepared to be out. The collection and drop off was hassle free and the. You sit back and relax.
The guides we had Rodolfo one other and Tony our driver was amazing. They were friendly and knowledgeable about everything about the day and run it very relaxed but following and on time.
The local people we met were welcoming and we really enjoyed our day.

Unforgettable family experi
One of the most unforgettable experiences of our trip! We spotted 10 sea turtles up close, along with stingrays and a wide variety of fish. Being in the water alongside such magnificent creatures is something our family will never forget.
Our guide Darwin was exceptional — clear instructions, excellent English, and a genuine passion for the ocean and the wildlife he works to protect. You could tell this isn't just a job for him.
Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Don't miss this!

So worth it! Ask for Santiago.
William from Akumal ecological guides was in touch with us the morning of and the people at the check-in had my name on hand. Our guide was Santiago and he was fabulous. He guided us through every step of the way patiently and calmly. He even helped us get some prescription googles for family members who needed them.
We saw 1/6 dozen turtles, 2 sting rays, beautiful fish and a baracuda!
The coral is dead due to a hurricane our guide told us. Despite this, it was totally incredible!

Smooth Trip from Cancún, Great Guide, and Amazing Food
I had a great time on this Tulum day trip. Mary was our tour guide and she was very informative throughout the entire day. They picked us up right in front of our Airbnb in Cancún at 7 a.m., and even though we were the first of 13 pickups, everything stayed on schedule. After three pickup stops, we still made it to our first destination in Tulum by 10:21 a.m.
We started at the archaeological site, which was beautiful, and then headed to Cenote Puerta Maya. The cenote was a relaxing way to cool off, and the chicken tacos and nachos there were honestly the best we’ve ever had.
Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable trip with a great guide and memorable stops. I’d definitely recommend it.

Great and amazing tour! , but not so great follow through with the customer service.
First, the experience and the tour guide was amazing, thus the 4 stars.
*****However, I left my hat in their van, which I did not expect them to find, which would have been fine. They found it and then I thought it might be difficult for them to return it to me. Then on July 26th at 13:46 PM, I was told on the phone it would be delivered to the hotel the next day. Great! Then they send a message 19 minutes later stating the driver had my hat in the lobby. I was away from the hotel and did not see the message (on the viator app) until that evening. Given the hat made it back to the hotel, I expected the driver to leave the hat with the font desk. THEY DID NOT LEAVE IT WITH THE FRONT DESK. I am disappointed and surprised the hat made it back to my hotel, but was not left there. I wish I could have been there to give the driver a tip, but I was told it was coming the next day so I was not at the hotel when it arrived. There is more to say about this, but this review is already too long.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Playa del Carmen belongs on your bucket list if you’re a snorkeler. After all, it’s hard to top the turquoise blue waters of the Riviera Maya and the colorful coral reefs teeming with sea turtles, nurse sharks, barracudas, octopus, and tropical fish. Whether it’s your first or 50th time snorkeling, you can explore shipwrecks, the Inah Reef, Paradise Lagoon, or the ethereal cave systems called cenotes, found mainly in Mexico. Playa del Carmen snorkeling tours include equipment and life jackets, and some offer add-ons like hotel pickup and drop-off, food and drinks, and stand-up paddle boarding.
