Great even solo! English and Spanish guide that explains the extra add ons on the way. I loved it so much the food drinks snorkeling it was fantastic and the photos were fantastic I highly recommend getting the photo package as well as doing the stingray experience as it was fantastic as well!

Dive into the natural wonders of Xel-Há Park, the Riviera Maya's ultimate aquatic paradise. You must arrive 15 minutes early at your assigned location. Notes: a. Please let us know if you do not require transport. b. We cannot guarantee to collect you from a hotel where you are not a guest, as some hotels have policies that do not allow visitors onto the premises. c. If you do not have a hotel at the time you purchase your ticket, you must contact Viator Customer Service at least 24 hours prior to your park visit to coordinate your pickup with us. d. Transportation is not private, so you will be sharing the bus with other visitors to Grupo Xcaret.

Itinerary

Following morning pickup at your hotel in Cancun, travel to Xel-Há for a day of exploration and discovery. Pick up your bracelet, with inclusions depending on the package you selected at booking, and get to work exploring.

Bike, ride a tram, or trek to the top of the river. Review the safety instructions before jumping into an inner tube and floating past mangroves until you reach a spot where you can cliff dive.

Stroll through the network of paved trails, where you can spot wildlife such as iguanas and tropical birds. Reach caves, a floating bridge, and a hidden beach.

Apply some biodegradable sunscreen, available onsite and required to preserve the park's ecology, before diving into the lagoon. Don the provided snorkeling equipment for views of rays and angelfish swimming around you.

Stop at the buffet, the sit-down restaurant, or any of the park's snack bars for lunch or a quick bite. Enjoy unlimited beverages from the bar for the duration of your stay (if you select the all-inclusive option).

At the end of your eco-adventure, return to Cancun for drop-off at your hotel.

Only get the all inclusive. There is nothing to purchase from any restaurant. Amazing park, loads of workers who are all very friendly! Only go if you like the water. Not for young children or anyone with mobility challenges.

It is a water park and salt water lagoon recreation area. Snorkeling and high tower water slide are the best. Free food and drinks all over the park are included. Many other for extra pay activities like swimming with dolphins and speed boat ride.

Prepare to swim! Tons to see and do. Need the whole day for it. Food is great and its worth getting wet and seeing all kinds of fish and wildlife. Slides are fun and I recommend getting the photo package. Tons for it and you get photos you dont want to miss. 2nd time going for just how awesome it is!

This was second time to Xel-Ha. We rode bikes to the top of the river, did the tube down the river/ mangroves, snorkeled. Food and drink were great. Transportation to and from was great. Overall great experience. Only complaint is that my brother tried three different snorkel masks (they are full face masks) and all three had something wrong with them which ruined his snorkeling experience. I brought my own gear and was glad I did. Staff need to examine the masks for issues before putting back on shelf.

Extremely overpriced. Very few activities that come with entry and the ones that did not warrant the price. All fun activities required to pay extra. Transportation is at the crack of dawn and the end of the day (6:30pm). We finished the included activities at 12 after arriving at open.

Great for families with kids

It was a great excursion. I was nervous about going with kids but it went smoothly. The bus ride was bumpy so make sure to wear your seatbelt and bring a jacket for the AC. You don’t need to bring towels or life jackets, there’s plenty to borrow at Xel-Ha. Food all day long was great. Ride back is even better because they drop you off in front of your hotel without needing to do the shuttle again. Kids had a great time. Ages: 2, 3, 4, 6 and 10

If you pay for transport, you have to be picked up at a hotel, not an an air bnb. Beside that the rest of the trip is great, and the park is awesome. You get three meals and lots of cool things to see and do.

Great water activities, but also a little limited. Once you have experienced the (crowded & longish) river, and done some snorkeling, you are pretty much done; unless you paid for overpriced add-ons. Zip bike def. not worth ~250 USD for a family of 5 for instance. Bring your own, or expect to shell out $40/pair for water shoes that would have been $10/pair at a box store. It’s convenient that the food is included, and it’s OK — just don’t expect too much… Transportation was good.

Xel-ha is a jam-packed day with plenty to do for everyone. The food is great and plentiful and the grounds are expansive! Definitely wear water shoes and bring plenty of reef-safe sunscreen and a hat!

We will never forget this feeling all our friends wake up early and wait meeting point 23 minutes and no one show up and after I called they said they come but we are not there and I was message to tour operators as soon as we are at meeting points but they don’t care they don’t refund our money. Total of 8 seniors are very upset and waste our time of vacation and money. Don’t used them.

Wonderful experience 10/10. My son was able to relax a lot and play in the kiddie area. While my daughter and I swam for over 6hrs doing the zip lines in the water and jumping off cliffs. In addition to transportation being smooth ride and great communication from pick up time at the resort to drop off at my resort. Would 100% go back

Leave yourselves hours in the back end of the excursion. Xel-Ha was most excellent in every way. Great park, great food and friendly staff. Our transportation back to our hotel was aggravating. We were given a time to meet up as well as the location. The park closes at 5:00. Food stops at 5:30. We were to meet up at 5:45 at the bus. 90% we’re in time 4 however, held the group up from departing in time, entered the bus and the bus departed axel-Ha. 5 minutes down the road the stragglers infirm the driver they need to stop for a bathroom break. ARE YOU FRIGGING KIDDING ME? The literally passed a W/C as they got on the bus. Now, with heavy traffic, we take a 15 minute pit stop. The hour drive to our hotel took 2 hours.

Activities are extra - power snorkel is the best

The activities are extra and a bit pricey - we went with power snorkel and adrenaline. Power snorkel was definitely worth it. Adrenaline was fun but I’ll pass next time. Food was delicious!

Not in the ocean as claimed the water brackish water and not clear at all. I was extremely disappointed because I am a very big snorkle person. Going down the lazy river in the mangroves was fun. The bike ride was fun wish it was longer saw a lot of iguana. Food was just okay. Definitely not in the united States but they did their best. The park over all is very small and for 160.00 American dollars to go is over priced!! The drive from cancun is 1:45 minute drive!!!!!

The experience was perfect in every way. We chose Xel Ha over Xacerat as it was all inclusive. We showed up booked a couple of premium experiences and had an amazing day. I HIGHLY recommend the photo pass as there are automated camera stations all ver the park, in the jungle, the water, the caves. Will 100% recommend this and go again!

Ziplining over water and dropping into it, tubing down the lazy river surrounded entirely by mangroves, and sliding down the 130 foot lighthouse slide were some of our favorite activities from Xel-Ha! Throw in unlimited food and alcohol plus cenotes and it made for an unforgettable experience

You're price of admission basically only pays for a big swimming hole. Nearly everything else to do costs money, like a lot of money. If you love wasting money, go here. If not, go jet skiing or seek another excursion which will be much more fun
