Manayunk
  • The Manayunk Canal Towpath is about 2 miles (3 kilometers) long and is a mixed trail of boardwalk and compacted gravel that is best suited for walking, jogging, off-road biking, and nature exploration.
  • The Schuylkill River is home to catfish, perch, shad, and bass, along with varieties of sunfish, trout, pickerel, and walleye. Meanwhile, the canal is filled with sunfish, largemouth bass, and carp, making it great for family-friendly fishing.
  • Take a walk across the Manayunk Bridge Trail, a former train line that spans the Schuylkill River and has been converted into an elevated urban park.
