  • You can buy tickets online or in person; children, seniors, students, and members of the military receive a discount.

  • Restrooms are located in the park’s visitor center, as are the Twinleaf Book & Gift Shop, the Bird Observatory, and a library.

  • No food is sold on-site, though there is a designated picnic area if you’d like to bring your own snacks.

  • Visitors must stick to the walking trails and avoid picking flowers or otherwise disturbing the habitats.

  • Dogs are not permitted to enter the park, except for service dogs.

  • Nature walks and workshops are offered throughout the year; it’s recommended to research the preserve’s events calendar in advance.

  • Many of the trails are paved and flat enough to accommodate strollers and those with limited mobility.
