Great family Outing
Great place to spend a few hours walking from building to building and ship to ship to learn all sorts of late 19th early 20th nautical lore from shipbuilding to coopersmithing to sailmaking, plus special exhibits on seafaring history. Kids especially liked the Lego exhibit and building w legos themselves as well as the Lego figure scavenger hunt around the 7 acre grounds.

Beautiful day
We enjoyed our time here. Spent about 2 hours and saw it all. Beautiful day and glad the majority is outside. Quick walk into Mystic afterwards.

Loved it
It is outdoor and I really thought it waa indoor,it was like an old village not a museum that is indoors and I feel you don’t need too many hours there. I spent 1 hour there and saw everything.
Mystic Seaport Museum
The Mystic Seaport is a must-see for history buffs and families.
Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking over uneven surfaces.
Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, as many of the museum’s exhibits are outdoors.
Photography is permitted at Mystic Seaport, but leave tripods, monopods, and drones behind.
About a third of the museum’s buildings have wheelchair-accessible entrances. Most trails are stable and firm, even if unpaved.
