Roberto was very knowledgeable and friendly. We leaned a lot of Munich's rich history. We did have a bit of a glitch. He didn’t realize we had changed our walking tour from 3 hrs to 2 hours till close to the end of the 2 hrs.

First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for the experience you had with Guydeez. The situation you described does not reflect the standards we set for ourselves or our hosts.
Our guide had to cancel at the very last minute due to an emergency, which is why they could not join you on the day of the tour. Please rest assured, a full refund has been processed.

We spent a wonderful day yesterday with Roberto. He was pleasant, knowledgeable about Munich, its history, and other cities and yet, considerate of our jet lag. We had just flown in from the US. He introduced us to some of his local favorite haunts, a coffee shop, a gourmet grocery store, and told us about some others. We watched the Glockenspiel clock chime and spin at 12 noon. We toured churches and the Cathedral which were absolutely amazing! And even though our first day in Munich was rainy all day, Roberto made it special. He’s a terrific tour guide! Being introduced to Munich by a local is the way to go! They know things that you won’t find in guide books.

This tour never happened! We booked it the night before with a 9:00am pick up time at our hotel. At 9:30am we we’re still waiting for a pickup. I contacted the tour operator to no avail. I then contacted Viator. The rep tried to contact the tour operator three times, but no one responded. She emailed him and about 10:00am he responds that the tour guide was reached and informed of the tour??? At 10:30, the tour guide sends me a message that she’s not coming because it’s too far out. I requested a refund immediately. As I’m now not in Germany, but back in the US, the company now wants to deny my refund. To make matters worse, Viator wants me to contact the tour operator to discuss the issue as all the managers are “in a meeting.” I didn’t book through the vendor. I booked through Viator, so they should be the ones addressing this issue. A very frustrating and disappointing experience.
