The best half-day tour of Munich's Historical Center
Ozzie is one of the best tour guides we have ever enjoyed. He is very friendly and provides a tour with excellent education and entertainment. He did a great job explaining the history and importance of Bavaria and its importance for Germany. His tour is an easy walk with lots of stops as Ozzie shares the city and answers questions. We give this tour our highest recommendation.

Dachau half day - strong and reverent
The half day trip was full and the site was crowded. It was great to see the youngsters coming to learn as well as so many international persons. The memorials and the information were strong and reverent. The half day was not quite long enough - would have wanted a little more time to sit and be there.

Dachau Memorial Site Tour
Visiting a site as heavy and significant as Dachau requires a specific kind of guide, and Michael was truly exceptional. From the very start, he made the logistics effortless, meeting us at the designated point and expertly navigating the group through the train and bus transfers. It took all the stress out of the commute, allowing us to focus entirely on the significance of the day.
Once at the memorial, Michael managed the difficult balance of being deeply respectful while providing the historical density needed to fully grasp the gravity of the site. Rather than just moving us from point to point, he shared incredibly detailed narratives that gave a human face to the statistics. His depth of knowledge regarding the history and the personal stories of the victims made the experience much more than just a walk through a memorial; it was a profound lesson in history and humanity.
He was also very mindful of the group’s pace, allowing for moments of silence and answering complex questions with great care and insight. If you are looking for a tour that prioritizes educational depth, seamless organization, and sincere reflection, I cannot recommend this experience and Michael. highly enough."

Unbelievable Third Reich walking tour with Josh
This was likely the best tour experience we've ever had. Josh was unbelievably organized and interesting. He is a performer. We liked that he was on time, ready to go, requested tickets, set out the guidelines (no phones while he was talking - so refreshing and needed!), and simply displayed a passion for every single part of the tour. He had pictures and audio and heartfelt stories that stirred the soul. He had everyone's attention for almost 3 hrs and he earns every bit of whatever he is paid. If you get a chance to have this guy, make sure to book this tour and tip him well. Thanks Josh, for an amazing time, a highlight of our time in Munich. We learned so much about this sad part of Munich's history and felt like we were walking through history with him. We will always remember your passion for and commitment to delivering your tour - thank you.

Munich must do activity
A very well curated your in Munich. It takes you to the Oktoberfest museum as well as some great places in central Munich. The dinner was awesome. A special mention for my Aussie guide. He’s a gem of a guy! Highly recommended tour if you’re visiting Munich.

Outstanding tour!
A sobering tour but one that was very memorable for all of us. James, our tour guide, was incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable of German history. He was passionate and thoughtful when sharing the horrors that occurred. His knowledge of events, dates , and timelines made our tour easier to understand the history. We all learned so much about the horrible things that happened and what society should never forget.

Loved it!
This walking tour provides a very efficient, but also thorough, way to see and learn about the most iconic builings and sights in central Munich. Our guide, Phillip, did an amazing job explaining and providing the historical background of many buildings and sites in the area. We were also able to visit the English Gardens, plus he was kind enough to guide us to the Lowenbrau Biergarten for lunch.

A great evening, highly recommend!
We had a great evening with Hannah Maria. She was charismatic and enthusiastic in her story telling and love for Munich ghost adventures. We are glad to have done this on our first evening in the city as she also pointed out places we might like to come back and visit along our way. Highly recommend this tour.

Great walking tour
We really enjoyed our walking tour. Our guide, Bernie, was so nice and full of great information. He kept it interesting and we learned a lot about the history of each of the stops we made. We saw a lot and our whole family of five had a lot of fun - even though it was really cold day. Definitely recommend!

Munich Walking Tour / 2 hr
Our walking tour experience was great. We had Adrian as our tour guide and he gave us so much great info. The check in was easy and all the people in the office where we started were very nice. We finished the tour then went to lunch with some of the other travelers on the tour. It was a great day!!!!

Fun and informative bike tour
My husband and I did the bike tour with Dave on our first day in Munich. It was a perfect introduction to the city and Dave was super friendly, funny and informative with all of the information he shared. Highly recommend doing this bike tour even in 30 degree weather.

This was an absolutely...
This was an absolutely amazing experience! Our guide, Helio, was fantastic. Not only did he ensure everyone’s safety by clearly communicating stops and directions, he was also knowledgeable about the history and had lots of good recommendations for things to do in the city. He was funny and personable. The tour itself was also really cool. We got to experience the highlights and get to know the city in a new way.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Despite Munich’s efficient public transport system, its Old Town and shopping areas are compact and ideally explored on foot. If you’re not familiar with the city, Munich walking tours offer the perfect solution. While some tours delve into World War II sites associated with the Third Reich, others cover Old Town highlights, ghost-themed adventures, culinary explorations, and customizable private experiences. Whether you’re drawn to history, culture, or gastronomy, discovering the city on foot can be tailored to every preference.
