Great staff and experience! The guides were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the experience. Transportation was included and contacted me when they arrived, which made things so easy. The lunch provided was good and needed after all of the activities. The photos and videos were amazing and completed so fast, which gives them an automatic rebooking whenever I visit!

This is my 3rd time attending this excursion with this group. They are so fun and professional all at once. They care about the safety of each guest while also allowing them to feel comfortable. My friend rode horses and ziplined for the very first time and enjoyed herself tremendously. I will definitely be back every time I visit Mexico. Thank you all again!

A full day of fun! Zip lining through a beautiful scenery, Horse back riding & the zenote! Well worth it! Staff was friendly, professional & made each adventure fun! Only con I'd mention is the very short time spent at the zenote. I highly recommend booking a separate excursion full of different zenote adventures.

Fun activities, no photos/videos

The transportation was nice and the activities were fun. But you’re not allowed to bring any cameras or phones with you. They have their own photographer who will take pictures but it’s around $90 US if I remember correctly.

Great experience. Allowed us to meet at a central location to catch a ride from our Airbnb. All activities were about 30-40 mins each! So very timely. We had an also tour lead — we made it back home by 3pm.

Bumpy ride

Krystle_F, Aug 2026
This experience was horrible the people was hella rude. The AtV was raggedy as hell to many pot holes didn’t enjoy this at all very painful experience from the horses to the Atv

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Hi Krystle, We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. Our ATV circuit takes place on a natural jungle trail, so the terrain is intentionally uneven and includes dirt paths, bumps, and natural obstacles as part of the adventure. This is also reflected in the photos and description of the experience. That said, we’re sorry to hear you felt uncomfortable during the activities, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We’ll also review your comments regarding the service provided by our staff.

Nothing extreme about this "extreme adventure"

James_G, Aug 2026
This tour is good if you're a family traveling with young children, but parents don't expect to be wowed. If you're looking for a little bit of a thrill, or some good scenery, this is not for you Everything felt extremely rushed. Like you were just being pushed from one activity to the next. And everything was very crowded. The horseback riding is along a not quite paved road, next to stables/farm with horses? In the jungle technically, but believe me it feels pedestrian. You essentially walk a lap on the back of a horse for what seemed to me like 10 minutes, even though they claimed it was 20. Cenote was fine, but very crowded with people when we went all booked through this "extreme adventure Cancun" company which offers a variety of tours. Nothing particularly notable about the cenote but it's a fresh body of water that happens to be a decent size hole in the ground. ATV riding, similar to the horses, was along a roughshod dirt track essentially was a loop. No real destination, no scenery to inspire. Road ATV's in Costa Rica, that was fun, exciting, and ended with a beautiful stop on a beach. This was definitely not that. Zip lines were ok, again nothing exciting really, and it was so incredibly hot all day that by the time we got to this final activity, my head was swimming from heat exhaustion. They take pictures through out everything which you can purchase, but we opted not to. You're usually not allowed to bring your camera or phone with you so it's either there's or nothing, fyi. So, again, if you're a solo traveler or couple looking for some excitement, this will be a total bust. But, if you have reasonably aged children they would probably really dig on this, if they're still at that age where they are easily impressed.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Hi James, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience did not match what you were hoping for. Our tour is designed as a combination of several activities, with the schedule and duration of each one detailed in the experience information, so guests can enjoy horseback riding, ATV, cenote, and ziplining all in the same day. As for the natural setting, the ATV circuit takes place on a jungle trail with uneven terrain, while the horseback riding follows a natural trail rather than a scenic destination route. Since these are shared activities, there may also be waiting and busier periods, especially during high season. We’re glad you were able to enjoy some parts of the experience, and we truly appreciate your feedback as it helps us provide clearer expectations for future travelers.

Some good some soso

Wazir_S, Aug 2026
We booked the horseback riding, ATV, zipline, and cenote tour. The bus ride to the ranch was about 40 minutes. When we arrived, there were only a limited number of horses available, so our group had to wait for the first group to return. The waiting area was shaded, but there was no air conditioning. There is a bar where you can purchase drinks, but photos are not allowed in that area. The horseback ride was disappointing. It lasted only about 10 minutes and followed a flat trail with little scenery or adventure. The cenote was beautiful, but we felt rushed and didn't have much time to enjoy it before being moved on to the next activity. The ATV ride and zipline were the highlights of the tour and were both enjoyable. Lunch included a choice of fish, pork, or vegetarian tacos. The tacos were fairly small, and drinks were not included. Bottled water cost $3 USD, and other food was available for purchase but was expensive. At the end of the tour, they tried to sell us a photo package with 199 photos (many of them duplicates) for $130 USD. We felt it was overpriced and declined. Overall, the ATV and zipline made the trip worthwhile, but the horseback ride was too short, the cenote felt rushed, and the extra costs for drinks and photos were disappointing.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Hi Wazir, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear that you particularly enjoyed the ATV and zipline activities, although we’re sorry that some aspects of the experience did not meet your expectations. The activities included in the tour, as well as their approximate duration and the lunch option, are detailed in the experience information. The ranch and activities are outdoors, so facilities such as the waiting areas are open-air, and the photo package and additional food or beverages are optional purchases. We appreciate your comments regarding the pace of the tour and the time spent at the cenote and horseback riding, and we’ll share your feedback with our team.

Unorganized

Tamara_W, Jul 2026
Wait time for return transportation was long. The event was not organized at all. Charging $70 for pictures was excessive.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Hi Tamara, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the waiting time affected your overall experience. As this is a shared tour, return transportation is coordinated once all participants in the group have completed their activities, which can sometimes involve some waiting time. Regarding the photo package, this is an optional service offered at the park and purchasing it is not required to enjoy the experience. We appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration as we continue working to improve our service.

Better than expected. Awesome experience would do it again! Not too long not too short.

Christian_O, Jul 2026
Go with clothes that are hybrid/water and walking. Bring glasses if you can for the ATV’s it can get very dusty and dust will get in your eyes.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Hi Christian, Thank you for your great review! We’re so happy to hear the experience exceeded your expectations and that you would do it again. We also appreciate you sharing those helpful tips for future travelers! We’d love to welcome you back on your next visit!

Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area.

Family friendly fun!

mickeal_l, Jul 2026
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional from start to finish. They were especially wonderful with our 4-year-old daughter during the ziplining. She was nervous at first, but thanks to their encouragement, kindness, and patience, she ended up loving it! We also had our 6-year-old son and our 11-year-old with us, and the staff was absolutely amazing with all three of our children. They made everyone feel comfortable, safe, and included throughout the entire experience. The food was delicious and authentic, and they made sure we had plenty of time to rest, cool off, and stay hydrated. We never felt rushed and appreciated how organized everything was. This was easily a 10-star experience in our book. We made unforgettable family memories and will absolutely be back the next time we’re in Cancun. Thank you to the entire team for making our day so special!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

This was a fun experience for sure I’m scared of heights but there was me upside down living my best life The horses are also polo horses so very well taken care off I’ve done better quad bikes but this was still fun x

Extreme Adventure’s was awful!

Cesar_Z, Jun 2026
Everything is rushed. Horse ride was super lame. Quads were falling apart. It was a bit dangerous with the abrupt stopping. Included lunch was two small tacos. They don’t supply bottled water. They won’t let you take your phones because they want to force you into buying their picture package. They won’t lead you to a bathroom break between activities. Everything is hurry, hurry, hurry! I took a different tour with Cancun Adventures and it was a totally different experience. Extreme Adventures was awful. The van did not have AC! It was like being transported into white slavery. All of their equipment was falling apart. The helmets for activities were nasty. Sweaty from previous users. The business does not keep up with their equipment. Do not book!

Xtreme Adventure - Good time

DJ_R, Jun 2026
Some fun activities. Horse riding is good but on the shorter side, the Cenote was fun but only 30-35 min there, the ATV was good fun but wear long pants to protect your calves from the motor heat, and finally the zip line was good. The included "lunch" was insulting. (Two tortillas with hardly any veggies in it) but the fish option was a big better. The professional photos are expensive but worth it in my opinion. Instructions weren't always clear. Final tipv- make sure you keep the lock and key with you or you'll be fined.

You MUST book!!

Amari_W, Jun 2026
Great staff and experience! The guides were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the experience. Transportation was included and contacted me when they arrived, which made things so easy. Pallavi_D, Jun 2026
The tour was very well managed. Salvador, our driver picked us up right on time. We had food restrictions so they were accommodating for lunch. The photographers took amazing photos for our entire tour. Definitely worth the photo package. Everything was so smooth and felt safe. The only thing I didn’t like was that the time at Cenote felt short. Apart from that, it was a great experience! Also, don’t worry about bringing change of clothes because there isn’t a lot of time in between activities. Just wear your swimsuit and tennis shoes for the day.

A lot of fun activities...

Kailey_C, Jun 2026
A lot of fun activities all packed into a half day! The horseback riding through the jungle was peaceful before moving into the extreme sports! A bit more information and safety instruction before the activities (ATVing and Ziplining, specifically) would have been nice. But the guides were all very helpful!

A bunch of Bullshyt

Nairobi_B, Jun 2026
I paid for a package I didn’t do zip line. But is doing the atv and the the horseback riding and the cenote. It should be optional if you dnt want to do something and pick to choose something else I paid full price for 4 ppl. Having me to sit an wait is not professional especially if I’m on vacation trying to enjoy my time here I also asked to speak to a manager an he lied a told me it was someone else but it was him that’s not right an had me sign a. Paper that wasnt presented properly. We also got here late as well so our time is shorten. It’s all about money when visiting Mexico . Carmen de playa to exact .

I feel there should be a pin drop where this location is, so you can work out the journey time from your hotel. From Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres it will be a 4-hour round trip by the time the other hotel pick-ups are done. There is a lot of time spent waiting around, but then rushed activities. We waited for 30 minutes at the entrance to the horse riding for another bus to arrive, then another 40 minutes next to the polo field for another group to finish, whilst the staff were offering to sell us drinks & then asking for tips for the main chap looking after the horses. My partner asked to use the mounting block to get on to the horse but was refused. Cenote was very crowded & we only had 25 minutes there. ATV was over very rocky ground (not muddy as advertised), cut out through the trees, slow speeds, wasn't much fun in a disciplined single file. The 4 ziplines were fun but rushed as we needed to be in the tequila tasting for more upselling, starting at 79 dollars per bottle, rising to 129 dollars. We didn't see the show despite the main fire dancer coming over asking for tips, & were not offered any of the free tacos from the menu of 95% paid for items. Only one paper cup of water offered all day. It's all about tips and upselling. Photo package opening price is 229 dollars, his last price is 79 dollars. Left hotel @ 11.30am, back @ 8.00pm, hungry & thirsty.

We had a great time , however my grandmother accidentally left her change of clothes bag and passport at the cenote and no one on staff was able to locate it despite quick notice.

Check it off your bucket list...

Tomica_G, Jun 2026
Make sure to check the weight limits, but if you meet the requirements, you'll have an AMAZING time. Everyone was focused on making sure you got your money's worth and was happy with the adventure and experience. If youre lucky enough to have a group of less than 10, you'll get the FULL EXPERIENCE without being rushed. Get the picture package - It's worth it. You wont have access to your phone to capture the moments.

Best Time for the Money

Mike_S, Jun 2026
Started out with ATVs. What fun! Next horseback riding. Nice and slow. Then Zip lining. This has to be the best! 7 lines, 4 up and 3 down, Climbing to the jump point can be tough if you are out of shape. But this is the best. Finally swimming in the caverns. Great way to cool of after a day of heat. Then to wrap it up was traditional Mexican lunch. If you are reading this review, buy the excursion. They will not disappoint. Mike

Great Experience.

Keonna_E, May 2026
Overall, great experience, but the lunch was terrible. I thought lunch was included in the price of the activity, but I guess I misread, so that was an additional charge. Can't take personal items when participating, which makes sense, but to then charge $65 usd for all the pictures taken or $25 usd for just one picture is robbery. Just beware of the extra costs.
