Overview
Ride horses through the lush countryside outside San Miguel de Allende on this half-day adventure. Great for riders of all levels, you will experience several types of terrain and be able to walk, trot, canter, or gallop according to your comfort level. One cowboy for every two guests will accompany you, and young children can have their own cowboy lead. Lunch on the ranch is served afterward.

Beautiful sunset ride on wonderful horses in the countryside of San Miguel de Allende. The caballeros were so attentive of our needs for 2.5 hours. The ranch dinner after was delicious. Highly recommend this experience!

Very enjoyable- from our pick up driver who also joined the ride to our to cowboys who went along and accommodated all our requests. I have not been on a horse in 30 years and they made it a piece of cake. Food was plentiful and delicious. We really enjoyed all of it. Valerie

We had an absolute blast on our 2 1/2 hour ride through the mountains, near San Miguel De Allende, Mexico. The horses were calm, quiet and sure footed, and the 4 cowboys and Beth, their American partner, could not have been more tuned into safety and fun! Even beginners are welcome and well taken care of. Those of us who had more experience could trot and canter at different times when it was safe. At the end of the ride we are treated to a gorgeous Mexican country lunch made by the women of the community! This was absolutely the highlight of our month long stay in San Miguel.

If you are looking for an exceptional experience this is the one for you! The owner Kim is super friendly and really makes sure that you have a great day. The cowboys that rode with us are friendly and always watching out for you. We had great views.along the way and it ended with a delicious homemade lunch made by one of the cowboys wife. It was my husbands first time on a hoarse and he wants to go again.

The experience was great! Beth was lovely and picked us up . Reyes and Catolino were fantastic throughout the whole trail. The horses were very well behaved and super easy to ride. The food was absolutely delicious. Would 100% come back! Great SMA horse riding adventure.

We were picked from our home on time and driven to the ranch. The horses are healthy and well cared for, unlike some of the pathetic horses I have seen in other destinations. There was one cowboy (vaquero) to assist every two riders, making this a very safe ride. We were given an orientation on how to manage the horses and off we went on a walk through 12,000 private acres of arid landscape and also through creeks. We did a rest stop half way through the 3 hour ride on a high ridge with an amazing view. On the return, our group split up for a time so that the advanced riders could gallop ahead. Upon returning to the ranch, lunch was authentic and delicious, including quesadillas with homemade tortillas and homemade cheese! Beth, our hostess, and her Vaqueros enjoyed the meal with us before returning us to our house. A fabulous day!

My daughter and I enjoyed a most wonderful late afternoon horseback ride. Owner Beth was not available that afternoon, but we were in expert hands with her team of Michelle, Reyes and Catalino. The scenery was on the trail was spectacular, absolutely mind-blowing. The horses were gentle and the meal after the ride, prepared by Catalino’s wife, was wonderful. Thank you to all!

We loved the whole experience! Beth is a fabulous guide and she takes all precautions for the safety of her riders. The staff was excellent and the ranch meal was authentic and delicious. We highly recommend this riding experience!

For me, this horseback riding trip was a kind of dream come true. Ever since I was a kid, I dreamed of riding a horse on my own, and now, finally, I was able to do it in San Miguel de Allende. At first I was very nervous, but thanks to the very attentive cowboys and the host I was able to feel very safe. A truly unforgettable adventure, beautiful views, a unique experience. I would also like to single out the wonderful dinner prepared by the cowboy family. It was a pleasure to dine with such great company. Next time I will definitely try the tent camping option. If you are looking for a truly authentic adventure and want to feel like a western hero, I definitely recommend this tour.

Had a wonderful time riding with Beth. We were fortunate that it was just the two of us for a more personal experience. The horses were great, the views were glorious, the guides were gracious, and while my husband enjoyed the stroll, I was allowed to cantor and gallop with Reyes. I’m not good at it but it was a great feeling and fun. I’m sure the guides were amused at my technique. The lunch was spectacular in a beautiful, quiet spot and Beth has a great story and it was awesome to hear about the community. Highly recommend

The adventure was AWESOME! We have traveled all over the world and ridden horses on my trips. This was the best. Our horses were very gentle and knew what to do. The guides were accompanying and the scenery was amazing. The food was tasty at the end of the ride. My only negative (if any) we requested an English speaker and one guild spoke only a little, but was not a deal breaker and we LOVED it. Will go again.

Four riders, from novices to experienced riders, all had a great time. Helpful cowboys, wonderful scenery, home cooked meal at the end. Only 35 minutes from Centro. We would do it again!
