Jorge was amazing!! We learned such fascinating history about charros. He was patient, fun and a wonderful teacher roping and riding the horse. The surprises at the end of the tour really were special and ended on such a beautiful note!! Highly recommend this tour and would bring my entire family should we visit again.

It only includes the complimentary arrival transfer by Shuttle in the metropolitan area, the return is at the expense of each client. If you require the service, please indicate your address up to one day before 6 pm. Otherwise we wait for you directly at the Lienzo Charro Jalisco at 10 am.

Our visit to this family-run ranch was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we could feel the warmth and pride that generations have poured into this place. Our guide, Jorge, went above and beyond—patiently answering all our questions, making sure everyone in our family was comfortable, and helping us truly enjoy every moment. We learned about the rich history of the ranch and its skilled riders, practiced roping and lassoing, rode beautiful horses, and even got a taste of authentic tequila. The highlight was the personal touch—a private, intimate moment with guitar music and singing that made the day magical. The experience was very nice from start to finish. It started with us getting picked up at our Airbnb which I will admit was a little scary at first but our driver was nothing but nice. We were then taken to Charros de Jalisco where we got to be a charro for a day. We learned how ride a horse like a charro, how to use a lasso, and got to experience our very first charreada and Jorge the charro, even sang to us and gave us tequila. We would definitely recommend anyone to experience this tour at least once.

An experience like no other! I learned a lot about the history of Charros, got to practice lassoing (don’t know if that’s a word) a horse, made friends with other tourists over tequila tasting and listening to wonderful story of Jorge our tour guide while he played guitar and sang. ❤️

The whole experience was amazing. Jorge was amazing explaining the history and teachings us how to be a charro. Specifically the meaning behind it. My boys are 12 and 16 and they had a great time. The driver pick us up on time prior to the service at our location and drove us to the lienzo charro. Just a tip** Make sure to eat prior of your tour. It lasted a little bit and we were very hungry afterwards.

This was a great 1/2 day excursion. We wanted to do something different and this was perfect. We learned a lot about the charro (and Mexican) culture. The guide, Jorge, was fantastic. He was a great teacher of all things charro. The roping was hilarious and the horses gentle. Jorge even treated us to his amazing voice. Highly recommend.

Incredibly fun learning and being a Charro. Jorges the host is a real life Charro and was excellent. The tour included learning about the history, being able to lasso and then ride horse. Finally drinks and a special performance from Jorges. Definitely recommended doing this tour as it's a real cultural experience getting to be part of such a traditional Mexican activity. Thanks Jorges!

This trip was just awesome, the transfer from the hotel was very nice, Jorge our guide and marvelous Charro walked us through the history of Charro culture and provided a lot of care by asking if we are comfortable throughout the whole tour, we were able to use the lasso and ride a Pinto (the cutest horse), he answered many questions we had and was generally super nice. We were lucky to get to the venue on day when there was a competition so we witnessed many events. Sending Love and thank you again for the experience!
