Fun night!
We had a great experience on this tapas and wine tour. Mario, our guide, was friendly, on time, and very engaging throughout the evening. He made the group feel comfortable right away and shared interesting insights without overwhelming us.
The spots we visited were well chosen and gave a good mix of local flavor and atmosphere. Everything felt well-paced, and it was a fun way to experience different parts of Madrid.
Overall, I really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, social way to explore the city’s food scene.

Our tour guide was great!...
Our tour guide was great! The wineries were so interesting, we saw parts of the wine making process we've never seen before! The wine options were great and the bottles available for purchase were very affordable with reasonable shipping to America! The food was good, but didn't feel like enough for a whole meal like mentioned. We were happy we ate a big breakfast and got an actual lunch after the tour.

Our experience was...
Our experience was phenomenal! The food was wonderful and the history provided by our wonderful tour guide was exceptionally detailed. The tour guide Joanna was informative, had a wonderful personality and answered all of our questions thoroughly. If you’re in Madrid on vacation we’d highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful Madrid Tapa introduction
Carlos was our host.
He made the night fun, and informative.
We were given a wide, delicious and abundant amount of Tapas from 5 different locations. Many regions were represented.
We tried many wines, vermouth, cider and Cava. My friend can't drink wine, sadly, but had other drink options. Carlos was very accommodating.
This was 100 percent worth the price!

Beautiful Madrid!!
Great way to learn about Madrid. Angie, our tour guide was delightful and full of history and knowledge of Madrid. We took it on our first day here to learn about the different areas, what there is to do and good recommendations for food. There are a few small hills so you may opt in for an electric bike.

The best way to start a Madrid trip!
We spent our first night in Madrid with James, and he was incredible! Unlike other tours with preset menus, James customize every order based on our feedback, perfectly balancing our taste with "must try" local items. Our family of five (3 YA kids) tried 18 different tapas at 4 restaurants- and even learned how to correctly pour cider! Between stops, he pointed out key historical sites, making the whole evening feel like a personalized masterclass in Spanish culture. If you want to tailored, authentic experience, book with James!

Great tour
Really fantastic! This is the second time I’ve taken it and I loved the cultural insights provided, along with the great food and drink. Melissa was an amazing guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. This tour is a great way to see different parts of Madrid as well.

Fun and informative.
This is a fun activity suitable for families, friends, couples, and solo travelers. The menu includes 10+ popular tapas, including salmorejo (chilled tomato soup), garlic shrimp, tortilla espanola, and fried calamari sandwich. There is something to accommodate most diets from vegetarian, pescatarian, and carnivores…I would check if you or someone you know is vegan.
The format of the class is very informal, with dishes assigned to individuals or teams. Guidance is provided to keep things on course. Together, the class will produce a buffet meal of the 10 or so tapas, then eat together at the end.
There is not a lot of demo, nor will you make all 10 dishes yourself, though the recipes will be emailed after. You can also purchase their cookbook, written in both spanish and english, for about 22 euros.
You will leave the class full and better informed about the tradition of tapas. The location of the cooking school is also ideal for a post-class stroll through the shop district near Sol.

Absolutely fantastic tour! Tapas, drinks, historic locations and our amazing tour guide Aldolfo! He provided some of the best culinary treats, iconic eateries and Madrid culture and squeezed into 3ish hours. You will leave with a full belly and newfound love of this beautiful (and delicious) city! Thanks Aldolfo!

Great tour for our group of 7
Jorge gave us an amazing experience which kicked off our Spanish spring break trip! We've done a number of food tours in different cities and this one was not just little tastes and bites. There was PLENTY of food. Jorge was very knowledgable about the foods we were eating and the city. Would highly recommend this for a group of friends and/or family.

Great Madrid food tour
Amazing experience getting a taste of all the staple Madrid food and drinks! Sergio was a fantastic guide giving us great recommendations for the rest of the trip and providing insightful historical context as we went on the tour! The highlight was definitely the traditional Spanish tortilla and Sweet Vermouth cocktail.
