Board your air-conditioned coach in central London and head into the Kent countryside for a full-day trip. Headsets let you hear the guide's commentary clearly throughout, with context on the sights as you travel.
The first stop is Leeds Castle, a 12th-century castle ringed by a moat and parklands, with admission included. Inside, see rooms furnished with tapestries and artworks and learn how the castle served as a residence for medieval monarchs. There's time to walk the gardens and the yew-hedge maze.
Next is Canterbury, home to the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Canterbury Cathedral, a center of Christian worship for close to 1,000 years and one of England's oldest churches. If you've selected the option, a guided tour heads inside, covering the cathedral's history, including the murder of Archbishop Thomas Becket by four of Henry II's knights in 1170.
The tour continues to Dover on Kent's south coast to see the White Cliffs and Dover Castle on its hilltop, and learn why the site holds such significance in English history.

Our tour to Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral, and the Cliffs of Dover was fantastic! The locations were absolutely beautiful and you could easily spend all day at Leeds or Canterbury. Our guide (or fun times facilitator), Cameron, was very knowledgeable on all the locations, but gave the information in a way that was easy to digest. He kept the bus rides entertaining with his information and jokes, and made sure everyone had everything they needed multiple times. Cameron clearly loves his job and it shows through his conversations with the participants. He also took photos for us ant the cliffs and even left us a nice surprise on our camera roll. Our driver, Sunil, was wonderful as well! The rides were smooth (or as smooth as they can be) and I was never worried about who was behind the wheel. I am truly happy that they were our guide/driver, and I recommend them and this tour wholeheartedly!

They cancelled an hour before we were boarding but I was already on my way ( on a crowded subway) Claimed it was cancelled a week ago but there were no texts, no emails to my viator or personal email. So…..

Heads up - You can see the Cliffs of Dover from a distance, and there's a port in the way, in case thats your main reason for considering this tour. Not the tour company's fault, but I was disappointed. The other sites were interesting.

I had a great day out seeing these 3 iconic sites. Meetup was simple and convenient, and our guide Megan and driver Earl were excellent. Megan was informative, helpful, and came around the bus a few times to see if everyone was OK or had any questions. Her walk thru Canterbury Cathedral in particular was great, showing some of the major features and site of the Cathedral. We had just the right amount of free time at the sites to explore on our own, All in all a fun day and an excellent value.

This tour covers a lot of ground and gives time for a visit at Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral. The white cliffs of Dover is a very quick stop with time for photos, but no time to explore. That said you will cover a lot of ground in 9 hours. Something that made this a better experience were Megan the tour guide and Earl the coach driver. Earl handled some very narrow segments of road easily and provided humor at the stops. Megan provided so much knowledge about our tours and even more about the areas history, demographics, and much more along the way and at each site. She also assisted my 84 year old mother who has issues with walking and assisted her at Leeds so my wife and I could do some exploring and showed my mother the lower floor at her own pace.
I highly recommend the Evan Evans tour to Leeds Castle, Cliffs of Dover and Canterbury Cathedral.

General overview of sites listed. Guide gave overview on bus for Leeds and Dover Cliffs and then we were off on our own. For Canterbury, guide escorted us through structure and then gave us an hour to wander about. It was interesting to me that as a solo female traveler and about the same age as the guide, she seemed to imply I did not know what to do or where to go - she did not even offer me the QR code at the end of the tour for the survey and was also unsure that I could make my way back to the Underground on my own at the drop-off point. Little did she know I have traveled to 20+ countries, most of them non-English speaking, and have navigated quite well. Was quite hurtful to be honest.

After almost not being allowed on the bus (booked my ticket the night before and my name was not on the tour guides roster), the coach ride to Leeds Castle in Broomfield, Maidstone, Kent (NOT Leeds) was lovely. The castle was purchased by Olivia Baille in 1926 for £180,000 (over £7.4m in 2019 pounds) and renovated beautifully. The Cliffs of Dover were spectacular and Pais de Calai France was visible (20 miles/32km). Canterbury Cathedral and town were full of history. Pope Gregory sent St Augustine to establish Canterbury in 597 AD (CE). It was the site of the assassination of Archbishop Tomas Beckett in 1170. It contains the oldest picture of Jesus in England (600sAD). Many of the walls contained colored frescoes that have faded away or were removed. The King’s School (597AD) that is attached to the cathedral is the oldest formal school in the world. Highly recommend this tour for its scenery, views of Kent and eastern England, and its rich history.

This tour was cancelled the. Ight before but I received no andvance of that. Fortunately, Evan Evans offereed me a substituto tour, because the one to Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Dover was not going to be available any day during the week I was in London. A very good road trip from London to southeast England. All the attractions were charming and full of history. The town of Canterbury was my favorite part of the tour. I wish we could have explore the cliffs of Dover from a better point.

Given time constraints, my wife and I were waffling between this tour and one for Stonehenge and Bath. We picked this one and I'm so glad we did!
Leeds Castle was definitely way cooler than we expected, and the former owner had an eye for fashion given how cool it looked. Canterbury was simply wonderful. The Cathedral is awe inspiring and has ages of fascinating history as well. The cliffs of Dover were a bucket list item so I'm very happy I got to dip my fingers into the English channel and grab a few souvenir pebbles.

Manon did a great job on our leeds dover canterbury tour. The highway was shut down due to an accident and she was so accommodating to make sure we saw everything intended even with the time change alottment. She had great history on each point of interest. It's a full day of activity. Grounds at Leeds castle peaceful and beautiful. Have to walk through the gardens. We did then snack at Cafe and took the short ferry back. Quick but pretty. Castel impressive as expected and hard to believe was a family home for 50 years and visited by celebrities of the era Canterbury cathedral historic and the town great. Wish we had more time to explore it. Our last stop was the white cliffs. Walked the beach a bit, took pics then a drink on terrace of pub looking at water and clifs. Perfect end before ride back. Our guide Godrey was terrific. Helpful and loads of knowledge and tips all day.

Amazing Guide! Very knowledgeable! We learned lots. She was also a very kind person, helping anyone she could in any way they needed. Before I booked, I looked at the websites for Leeds castle and Canterbury cathedral. The trip exceeded my expectations, partly due to Sheila (our guide) and Tony our driver. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and Sheila has great knowledge to impart in a friendly and educational way. Both sites look lovely in photos, but are magnificent when you see them for real.

Overall, it was a very good tour. Paolo is wonderful. But I was pretty sure that I had signed up for a two castle tour, both Leeds and Dover. But Dover was not part of the tour. That was disappointing. You should also modify your tour description, because one never really sees the famous part of the white cliffs of Dover.
