Barry did an excellent job and we were very happy. Due to a State Dinner Windsor castle was closed unexpectedly so Barry was able to shift us to Hampton Court Palace which was just as good. He also drove us by Windsor to see the castle from the outside. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend him!

Barry was so personable, engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. One of us had been to Windsor three times before but Barry’s tour was the best and most informative BY FAR! He even added a few extra stops and sights to show us along the way. He gets 10 stars on a five point scale. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect way to spend a day! Windsor Castle and the town itself are beautiful, and our guide and driver Barry was very knowledgeable and patient answering our many questions. There is a fair bit of walking but it’s all very manageable with Barrynproviding drop off and pick up at all locales. We had lunch at a lovely restaurant on the Thames and then a stop and stroll at Kensington Palace Gardens before being dropped back at our hotel. All in alll we really enjoyed our day and highly recommend the Windsor Castle Tour with Barry as your guide.

Excellent experience with Barry!! He showed up on time at our place and was very knowledgeable about the English history with the castle, along with explaining sites to and from Windsor. He Was great with my two young kids and kept the tour entertaining. Also drops you back off at your residence after a long but fun day! Highly recommend this tour

Our driver/guide, Barry, was excellent, very personable. He came into the castle with us and was our personal guide, explaining the history of everything we were seeing. He picked an excellent place for lunch in Windsor. He paced the day perfectly. We never felt rushed, nor did we feel like there was wasted time. The extra places we visited on the way back rounded out a great day.

We had a great day with Barry Ivens. On the ride out of Landon he took us by Buckingham and gave us information about it. . He also talked about different architecture of the buildings we passed. Inside Windsor castle he was very knowledgeable and gave us extra stories we would not have heard on a group tour. He took several pictures of us at different places. We could not have done this with selfies. When we were done a Windsor he had set up a reservation for lunch at a very nice restaurant on the banks of the Thames river in Windsor town. Barry told us about the town of Windsor as we drove through. On the way back to our hotel in London he took us to Kensington Palace. Again he was very knowledgeable. Definitely worth it to have personal attention. Much more than just a tour of Windsor castle. I highly recommend any tour with Barry.

Bravo! Barry is an outstanding tour guide. His level of service is impeccable. As soon as our tour was booked, he reached out and thanked us for booking with him. He stayed in contact with us and was timely in all responses. Barry is extremely knowledgeable about all things royal and if he was unable to answer he would find someone that could. He took pictures of us throughout our day and shared them with us through WhatsApp. He made sure we were able to see all the places important to us, and even gave us time in the gift shops. Barry was entertaining, knowledgeable and friendly. It was like taking a tour with your friend who lives in London. The fact that he drives a Black Cab was a special treat to us. We highly recommend Barry and will book another tour again in the future. If we could give more than 5 stars we would have done so!

We loved this tour! Barry was a terrific driver & guide; engaging, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and flexible. He communicated with us in advance to confirm the details of our trip, flexed 2 days before the tour to add Stonehenge (for an additional fee) when we decided to extend our day; and really knew his way around the crowd, especially at Windsor Castle. Highly recommend him as a guide and driver, for any of his tours; if the others are half as good as this one, they will also be terrific.

Barry was a fantastic tour guide! Barry was a great tour guy. He took us to all the places on the itinerary. He gave us a lot of great information on the various sites. Our plane was canceled so we had to leave at a different airport which was much farther. Barry had no issue dropping us off. I highly recommend Barry Ivens.
