Will never use Viator again

I got ripped off by this tour. I could have hired an Uber to drive me to the town of Windsor for half of what I paid Viator. I found out during the ride that the tour guide was not allowed to go with us on our tour of Windsor castle. So all he did was drive us to Windsor and back to our hotel. And I asked if he could extend it for another hour to give us time to shop and he said no because he had another tour scheduled. This was not a tour it was just a car ride.

This is clearly a case of a client who books a tour does not read anything on the itinerary and then also wants extras! We did everything as per the itinerary. It clear states we do not guide inside the castle rooms or chapel! The guide took them to Windsor castle, drove though Eton. Told them all history of the castle before they entered and told them all the secrets of how to do the castle the best ways to avoid the queues. He gave them ponchos and bottled water. He answered all their questions on the U.K. life and history and the royals and politics every single one perfectly. I would like to see an Uber drive do all this. But what has clearly made this client write this is she asked the driver to spend an extra hour in Windsor AFTER the tour ends! He of course said no as this was a 5 hour tour and charged as such. He had another job booked for the afternoon so of course informed the client it was not possible and we had to stick to the agreed tour time as it would not be fair to the other clients who would be waiting for him. It is a shame some people feel the need to write and ruin a company’s good name when they don’t get what they want. All they had to do was read the ad correctly in the first place and then maybe they would not have booked this tour as it clearly did not suit them or they needs. Please read the honest and true reviews from other clients to see what we actual do.

Half day London tour - taste of royal life & the suburbs

Going on the Windsor Castle tour with Nick on a drizzly London day was fun and interesting. He is energetic and loves to help visitors get a taste of British history, life and authentic experiences like tea at the local bakery. His car was clean and comfortable, and he was truly professional in a courteous and friendly manner. We would highly recommend this tour to get a glimpse of the royal lifestyle and Windsor as a high end London suburb.
