- St. George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services.
- Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A walking tour of the town will take place instead.

Bus and personnel right on time. Tour guide, Dolly, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the city and royalty, and regaled us with less known facts about London and its inhabitants. With humour and a quite remarquable naturel!

Basically Expensive transportation to Hampton courts and Windsor Castle . I would not do it again. Not worth the price

This was so much fun and our tour guide Melton and driver Slim were so kind and knew so much! We wished there was more of a guided tour at the castles, as the audio guides do not kind of move with you as quickly as we would have liked. Overall this is a great way to get to see both castles in a day!

Sometimes the Windsor leg is affected by the King’s schedule. Because we had to enter Windsor earlier than normal, we had less time at Hampton Court, which needed more time. Two great things to see, however.

I thought it was a guided tour and the tour guide just showed us to the castle and we had audio devices to explain what we were see. But was confusing which way to go next at Hampton Court.
Also bus tables needed cleaning.
Not worth the money.

Zero stars! Tour operator cancelled on us. So frustrating and disappointing when this trip was a year in the planning and this was the tour I was most excited for. Wouldn’t recommend this tour operator. Unprofessional.

Great opportunity to see both of these Castles on the same day. Our guide Dolly was extremely knowledgeable and our driver V was very nice. The snack box was underwhelming and should be changed. The small size of the group (9) was also a plus.

This was a great tour. With only 8 people in our mini van we had plenty of access to our guide, Dolly. Dolly is a wealth of information with an insiders peek at Royal life today and in the distant past. Our driver. Dennis, was professional and friendly and provided free soft drinks for all. A snack bag was included but I could not eat most of it as I am gluten intolerant. It would be nice to have a gluten free option.

This is the best way to see Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace if you’re staying in London. Can’t beat the cost and convenance. Our tour guide Zou Zou (spelling?) was the absolute best! So knowledgeable and interesting. The pick up point is perfect…you can take the tube on anywhere in London.

Great driver; did a great job maneuvering the streets of London before heading to our destination. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and made it very interesting along the way. Would recommend this tour. Would like to have had more time at each of the two destinations (even though it was a full day excursion) because there is so much to see and learn at each of the places.

Loved Windsor Castle and Hampton Court. Things for the provider to improve on include: return us to the location we left from as advertised (had to get an Uber back to the bus station) and provide the snackpack as advertised. Overall, nice excursion.

If you love Tudor history this is the tour for you! Loved Hampton Court. Windsor was somewhat disappointing as there was less to see, no photos and we were rushed through the chapel.

This was a very wonderful tour! Our guide was knowledgeable and cheerful! The palaces were even more amazing than I expected! The only negative was that we were not dropped off at our pick up spot, which was promised on our tickets.

Our tour guide, Zozo, was a fantastic host—funny, insightful, and informative from the moment we left the bus terminal until we returned to London. He made the bus ride enjoyable and entertaining.
We could have easily spent an entire day at each of the sites (Hampton Court Palace and Windsor Castle), but even though we felt a bit rushed, we still had ample time to appreciate each place. If your time in London is limited and you want to see both in a single day, consider this tour. However, be aware that the tour guide cannot provide a guided tour once you're inside the castle or palace.
One tip: If you need help finding the bus, use the "Get directions" feature in the Viator map. We struggled at first when we left the tube, but the app was incredibly helpful.

Do not book this experience! I think it’s a ploy! They cancel the tour 24 hours out from departure so that you have no time to find something else. Then they offer you their half day Windsor tour option as an alternative with a partial refund. We then opted for this and then they never issued the refund!! Terrible!! I followed up two times about the refund (no one got back to me), and eventually I just let my credit card company handle it. I think they do this a lot to collect more money for their Windsor tour. What a scam!
Also the Windsor half day tour was fine, but then they didn’t know how to turn on the AC for the drive back and it was 95 degree day! Everyone was so hot and honestly was not safe conditions! Do not recommend at all and do not book this experience or with this company!

Waste of time. Trip allowed for 2.5 hrs to explore castle, chapel, & town. We raced through so we weren’t left behind, as our driver said we would be if we were late. Details of tour stated we would be brought back to meeting point- untrue. We were left about 3 miles from the starting point and told to get on the train. Not what I signed up for and will think twice about booking anything with Golden Tours.
