We had a great time with our guide Eva who was relaxed, had a great sense of humour and infectious passion for Windsor!
Sam was a great guide! I learnt a lot about Windsor and really enjoyed the tour. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience interesting and enjoyable.
We scheduled and didn’t know the Castle was closed which was a huge bummer. Still did the walking tour but really was there to see the castle. The town is very sweet
Sam was amazing and fun. I so enjoyed our walkabout in Windsor. He shared many tidbits and history of this historic city.
We all really enjoyed the walking tour. Our tour guide was a local and consequently was very knowledgeable.
We only wish the tour was longer so that we could’ve seen more. There is so much history to explore in Windsor.

Our tour guide was a university student named Sam - he was great and very knowledgeable! Our family ended up being the only group on the tour, so we got to go at our own pace and ask tons of questions!
I had a private tour with David and he was very friendly and informative. He was generous in taking photos and I received a full history of the Windsor castle.
Interesting historical tour around Windsor. Entertaining tour guide who made what could be a dry historical tour much more interesting. A good tour for those who don’t walk far as Windsor a compact town. A guide very interested and proud of his own town.
One of the best walking tours I've ever done! Sam was such a wonderful guide - the tour was jam-packed with interesting facts and brilliant stories, we absolutely loved it! Sam was also super friendly and chatted to all of us in the group as we walked between stops, so by the end we felt like friends! It was the best thing we did on our trip to Windsor and I highly recommend this tour to bring the history of the town to life.
What a wonderful way to see and learn about the town of Windsor, and how it has evolved and changed over the centuries by the reigning monarchs. The history of some special and historic buildings.

The guide was nice and friendly. He gave lots of information about the history of the town as well of Castle. If you don’t like listen about historical Kings and Dates/Years, this tour is not for you.
Quite a bit of just standing in one place. A lot of historical information given but because we were 40mins at the Guildhall we missed out on other stops on the itinerary .

An excellent tour given by a local with in depth knowledge. Got to hear the highlights as well as local nitty gritty tid bits. Truly was a blast.
I was with two other travellers, a couple. Guide put most attention on the couple, especially the lady, even how she was facing and speaking. It was like they were having a two way closed off conversation a lot.
When I asked questions, responses were vague or guide seemed to go in a different tangent.
The guide could be more engaging, inclusive and knowledgeable in a way that is customer centric, tailored the the customer’s needs.
The guide spoke a lot about her personal life, her friends and her personal history growing up in Windsor. I would have like to know more about the history of Windsor, in a layered way. Her energy was somewhat scattered, she said she had three jobs, maybe that explains it.
I didn’t really connect / tour for me didn’t seem that worthwhile - the way it was presented. Tour likely to be more enjoyable if more suitable guide, more memorable interesting spots and knowledge, different people in the group.
I would have just spent the money I did on the tour on a Windsor Castle entry fee and spent my day there.
I was disappointed, but it is what it is. You have to go through the experience to find out sometimes. A shame as the tour seems popular on aviator, which influenced me to book.

Our Tour Guide actually grew up around the corner from the palace so she had many personal stories and experiences to add to the excursion! The history, the Queen, royalty life stories, and the palace itself were amazingly interesting. Highly recommend!
