I was with two other travellers, a couple. Guide put most attention on the couple, especially the lady, even how she was facing and speaking. It was like they were having a two way closed off conversation a lot.
When I asked questions, responses were vague or guide seemed to go in a different tangent.
The guide could be more engaging, inclusive and knowledgeable in a way that is customer centric, tailored the the customer’s needs.
The guide spoke a lot about her personal life, her friends and her personal history growing up in Windsor. I would have like to know more about the history of Windsor, in a layered way. Her energy was somewhat scattered, she said she had three jobs, maybe that explains it.
I didn’t really connect / tour for me didn’t seem that worthwhile - the way it was presented. Tour likely to be more enjoyable if more suitable guide, more memorable interesting spots and knowledge, different people in the group.
I would have just spent the money I did on the tour on a Windsor Castle entry fee and spent my day there.
I was disappointed, but it is what it is. You have to go through the experience to find out sometimes. A shame as the tour seems popular on aviator, which influenced me to book.

Our Tour Guide actually grew up around the corner from the palace so she had many personal stories and experiences to add to the excursion! The history, the Queen, royalty life stories, and the palace itself were amazingly interesting. Highly recommend!

Fantastic walking tour with history covering 900 years across 90 minutes. The town's history in relation to the royals, as well as other areas of intrigue were well navigated by our guide, Sam. You don't have to be a royalist to enjoy the tour, and Sam did a great job covering potentially sensitive topics without controversy. I particularly enjoyed the history of the Black Horse Inn, and will be personally be checking to see if it is truly still a 'pub' this afternoon. Good luck in your third year at uni, Sam! Good overview of the town, some of its history and quirky things (like the blue post box) and recommendations. Timing of walk coincided with changing of the guards at the castle which was great.

This tour is such a great way to get to know Windsor! Eva was a fantastic guide, and we had lots of fun traipsing around the town in spite of the near-constant rain! I highly recommend doing this tour if you’re new to the town (like me) or if you just want to learn some fun facts and local lore.

We booked a 2pm Windsor walking tour and met our guide Sophie at the Guildhall.
Jam packed with places to visit with lots of interesting facts and stories.
We spent an extremely pleasant 1.5 hours with Sophie and enjoyed every minute of the tour. She is an excellent and enthusiastic tour guide.

Our tour with Sophie was wonderful. She had lots of information to share, not just about the town of Windsor but also information to make our day there lovely and tour of Windsor castle easy. She managed to get us a good view of the changing of the guards (old guards departing) as well. The length of and ground covered by the tour was just right. Sophie is personable and fun.

A great tour that encompassed the city and gave more insight into the town of Windsor, we covered a lot, but it was a great and informative tour. We lucked out and ended up having a private tour, and we where able to hit all of the highlights of the city.
