This tour was absolutely incredible—one of the highlights of my trip. Eddy was a fantastic guide: funny, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the start, he created a WhatsApp group for our tour, which made communication seamless throughout the day. It was such a thoughtful touch—and even better, he took photos of each of us along the way and uploaded them in real time. He even created a video highlight reel for each groupnof travelers, which was such a fun and unexpected bonus. What really stood out was how attentive and adaptable he was. We were originally scheduled to visit Pena Palace first, but Eddy checked the weather and realized it would be overcast. Instead, he pivoted the plan so we visited the coast first and got stunning beach views—then timed our arrival at the palace perfectly when the skies had cleared. That kind of flexibility made a huge difference in the experience. The small group size made everything feel easy, personal, and well-paced. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better day. Highly, highly recommend this tour—especially with Eddy!

This was an awesome way to see the entire city of Lisbon in three hours. Manuel, our guide, provided great insight into the history of Lisbon and kept us safe throughout the trip. The bikes worked well which is an absolute necessity given the steep inclines you must take on for the beautiful views. I would highly recommend this tour as a way to get an idea of the layout of the city.

Brilliant tour, outstanding guide

My family and I booked a private tour last minute after I had stuffed up the dates on a similar tour booking. The company accepted our booking at 8pm the night before our trip and contacted us almost immediately to confirm pick up times and locations for the next morning. Next morning we met Maya, our guide, very close to our accomodation in Lisbon. She was super friendly to us and our kids and very helpful with an older person who was travelling with us. From there it just kept getting better. Maya was an exceptional guide and guided us around the Pena palace grounds, Cabo De Roca (last minute request which she accommodated without any issue), and back to Sintra to see Quinta de Regeleira. As well as providing excellent knowledge on everything we saw, she helped us with tickets, answered all of our questions and made the tour really engaging and enjoyable for us and our kids (11, 9 and 5yo girls who really loved the trip). Throughout the day Maya was also happy to discuss lots of related topics with us and clearly has a passion for history and culture and an ability to communicate her knowledge in a very understandable manner. When we finished at Sintra we made our way back to Lisbon and Maya even made a detour to allow me to pickup a rental car before the rental office closed - which was a huge help as we were travelling early the next day. Overall, we all felt that this was the best tour we had ever done as a family and we would highly recommend the company and Maya to anyone visiting Lisbon.

A must do when in Lisbon!

I had booked this for a day when rain was expected. At the very last moment I asked if I could move it to three days before and they said yes! My in-laws went with us to humor me but they didn’t think they would enjoy it. Yet, they raved about how wonderful it was! We all really enjoyed it. Luisa and Jose were fantastic. Greatest Tour thanks to Jesus

We had an incredible day touring Sintra, and it was 100% thanks to our guide, Jesus. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully planned and effortlessly executed. Jesus guided us through Pena Palace with the perfect balance of history, stories, and humor — genuinely one of the funniest and most informative guides we’ve met anywhere. He went above and beyond by finding a great restaurant and arranging vegetarian options without us having to worry about a thing. It felt very personal, not like a standard cookie-cutter tour. What really set Jesus apart was the care he put into the experience afterward — he made us a recap video of the day with photos, which was such a meaningful and unexpected touch. It’s something we’ll genuinely treasure. If you’re considering a Sintra tour, don’t hesitate. This was memorable, seamless, and full of laughs. We couldn’t recommend Jesus more highly.

Easy day

Easy experience going through the aquarium exhibits. Not too crowded. Spent so much time with the sea otters which seemed almosT in reach. The design with the large tank in the center allows for multiple viewing opportunities all throughout your stay. Great way to start our Lisbon trip with jet lagged teens

Booked a private transfer to avoid the taxi lines and luggage concerns etc. Highly recommend this! Meeting point in the airport was very easy to find. Ricardo was very very responsive as we arrived early and he was aware. He already had our address so took us right to our rental place and then picked us up a week later right on time.
