Speeding Japan - Safe & Fun 🤩
This was hands down one of the most fun experiences of our trip to Japan. We arrived early and they allowed us to start early. Edward is originally from Cali, so we talked about the States and how he ended up in Japan (so sweet). He was our guide & he made it fun and easy. I was nervous driving on the actual Japanese streets with cars and buses and trucks- but he made sure we were safe and took time to stop and check in with us.
He took TONS of great photos!!! My folks did the excursion and they are in their 70’s and they were able to keep up and had a blast.
I definitely want to do this again when I am back in Japan. If you are on the fence about doing this- take the keep- DO IT! You will have a Fab-u-lous time. They even gave us tips on places to eat afterwards 😉. 1000/10 ⭐️

Unique Once in a Lifetime
We loved this experience!!! Being able to learn the history of the samurai in a real samurai house and then swing a samurai sword was incredible! This experience was so immersive. We got to wear traditional samurai outfits and practice the mental meditation too. The staff and samurai instructors were amazing and even took pictures for us! Highly recommend, it was a huge highlightbof our entire trip!

Kimono’s and Tea, Oh my!
We were highly anticipating this experience and it did not disappoint! Everyone was so lovely. The staff for the kimono’s were great. I could not believe how fast we were dressed and my hair was done. The tea ceremony was awesome. Also greatly appreciated that we had small chairs and tables instead of being on our knees since my husband and I would not have been able to do it. Amy was an amazing host and funny! Highly recommend.

Best interactive sumo wrestling show
Overall, it was a great experience from beginning to end. The combination of athletic displays, supportive staff, and memorable interactions created a birthday celebration we’ll remember for a long time. If you’re considering it, I’d recommend booking in advance and arriving early to soak in the atmosphere.

An unforgettable Tokyo adventure!
If you are planning to do Street Kart Akihabara, do yourself a huge favor and ask for Gyula as your guide. He made what was already an exciting activity into the absolute highlight of our trip to Tokyo!
From the moment we arrived, Gyula brought incredible energy. He was incredibly funny, kept us laughing, and made the entire group feel like family.
Epic Photo Shoots: Driving through the streets of Tokyo dressed up in costumes is surreal, and Gyula made sure we have the memories to prove it. He took tons of fantastic, high-quality photos of us on the road that we will treasure forever.
I was a bit nervous about how my mom would handle the experience, but Gyula went above and beyond. He took special care of her, constantly checking in to ensure she was comfortable, confident, and okay every single step of the way. His kindness was truly heartwarming.
His safety briefing and driving instructions were incredibly clear. We always felt secure and protected under his watch, which allowed us to relax and have the absolute best, most memorable time.
Thank you, Gyula, for taking such amazing care of us (especially Mom!) and giving us a core memory of Tokyo! 10/10 highly recommend!

Amazing experience!
Great experience! The family that hosted the tea ceremony had a wealth of knowledge. They were also extremely kind and answered any questions we had about the ceremony. I have admit as a 5’10 woman I was worried about kimono options but they were very inclusive and had plenty. Also, the team did a great job styling my braids.

One of our favorite things in Tokyo!!
This was a 10/10 experience!! We had an amazing guide who took us around the city, taking photos of us and making sure we all had turns in the front. The Rainbow Bridge was a big highlight, and you get to go on it twice. We did the mid-day option which we loved, as there wasn’t much traffic so we could go fast. We loved our time and highly recommend this company!!

Fantastic. Exceptionally well organized and great sake to taste as well!
Absolutely excellent experience. I learned more about sake than I ever expected. If you ever wanted to demystify sake and know what you’re ordering and how to pair it with different food, this is the activity for you. The guides were excellent - friendly and knowledgeable. And answered all the questions we had.

Exceeded expectations. Well run.
It really exceeded my expectations. The sword training was fun but not silly. Plenty of time for photos. Our instructor Kenny was super nice and knowledgeable. Our class had 10 people. My teenagers and i enjoyed the sword fighting (1 hr) as well as the cultural museum tour afterward (1hr). The tour had about 20 people. The tour ended with a shiraken throwing contest for the entire group. My wife did the tour only but she was allowed to watch our sword training.

Fun and tasty afternoon
My 20 year old daughter and I did this tour during our first trip to Tokyo and it was one of our favorite activities! We met outside of a Buddhist temple and started with a short tour there. We then went into the fish market and learned about its history, as well of some the guide's favorite stalls. We had the time to purchase snacks before moving onto the class.
Our class was led by Coco and an experience sushi chef. The chef demonstrated how to prepare fish for sushi, as well as sashimi. Plates with prepared fish and bowls of rice were set out for us and the chef walked through how to make different types of nigiri. Finally, we learned how to make a roll. We then got to eat our creations - delicious. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys sushi!

Fun Rickshaw Tour
We are a family of four including two teenagers, and we had two rickshaws, one operated by Itaru and the other operated by Sho. This was so much fun and I would highly recommend it! Even though it was raining, we were pretty well-protected under the rickshaws’ hoods and rain covers, and there were also warm blankets. We saw a lot of sights in Asakusa and got a lot of interesting info along by the way, as well as many great pictures. I am glad we did this.

A highlight of our Japan trip — don’t hesitate to book
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We absolutely loved YUCa’s cooking class and it may well end up being our favourite experience from our entire Japan trip.
Yuca’s studio kitchen is beautifully set up — intimate, welcoming and clearly designed with love. Our class of six felt just the right size, and Yuca and her husband were both incredibly warm, hospitable and knowledgeable. The ramen and gyoza we made were genuinely delicious, and we left feeling confident enough to recreate them at home.
We were travelling with our nine month old son and Yuca was wonderfully welcoming of him from the moment we arrived. She was happy for us to bring his pram up the stairs so he could sit comfortably during the class, and she even made him his own little onigiri for lunch — such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that completely melted our hearts.
It’s about an hour from Shinjuku but don’t let that put you off — it is absolutely worth every minute of the commute. And when you arrive, Yuca provides a sheet of local recommendations for sightseeing, cultural experiences and food nearby, which is such a thoughtful touch. We followed her suggestions and spent the afternoon at Yanaka Ginza and Ueno Park — a perfect way to round out the day and explore a part of Tokyo most tourists never see.
Don’t hesitate, just book it. The experience, the food, the hospitality and the local knowledge Yuca shares make it exceptional value and a truly memorable way to connect with Japanese culture. Highly, highly recommended! 🍜🥟
