This was an extremely fun tour. Our tour guide, Hiro, was extremely knowledgeable about sake and she had lots of different kinds for us to taste. We were able to visit a few different places, and even had a short stop for some fresh tofu. I highly recommend doing this tour if you are in the area and enjoy sake!

You will learn much about sake making, and why the Kobe region is such a big maker of saké. Plus you get to taste different types of saké , and even eat some locally made Tofu.

We had two sunny guides on a dreary day. They made sure that we were having fun all along the way. Friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed their company as much as the saki! Delightful, by the way. Highly recommend.

Hiro treated us to a truly wonderful sake tasting and brewery experience. Her knowledge of the brewing process, local sites, and personal appreciation for the drink was helpful in learning new details about the sake we love to drink. Our tour was just the two of us, though the tour sizes are often larger. The tour was given in English and Hiro exemplified the warmth and good-natured humor that Osaka is known for. Her tour was one of the highlights of our trip through Asia, and we can't recommend it enough!

Hiro was an outstanding guide—warm, professional, and wonderfully knowledgeable—who made the tour both enjoyable and enlightening. She vividly explained why Nada/Kobe is Japan’s premier sake region (Rokko Mountain water, cold fermentation winds, Yamada Nishiki rice) and guided us through the sake essentials (rice, water, yeast, koji) . She personalized the experience, welcomed questions, gave clear hands-on demonstrations, and enriched the tour with touching local stories about shrine traditions and the region’s inspiring recovery after the 1995 earthquake. Highly recommended — a truly memorable, five-star sake experience!

Welcoming, engaging, and most importantly delicious, this tour gives you a full experience for Japanese sake and how it’s made.
Our guide, Romi, was beyond fabulous. For outside reasons we were more than 1 hour delayed before arriving. Throughout, we were kept informed of where we needed to be with clear and considerate information - and because of this we were able to join the tour halfway through. When we arrived we were seamlessly welcomed into the group and were able to have a fantastic experience; and our guide stayed on after the end of the tour to make sure we could try the sake we had missed out on! Making a reservation at a separate establishment for us and another couple in the group. She absolutely went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, and turned an otherwise very stressful day into a brilliant experience.
Do not hesitate in choosing this tour over any of the others - we can do nothing but recommend it.

If you want to explore a variety of sake then this trip is for you. Hiroman did an excellent job oof explaining the different types of sake and how sake is made. Plus he provided extra sake along the way. Everyone had a good time with Hiroman. This would be a fun tour with friends as well.

The entire experience was great, close and informative. Hiro was an excellent host and made us feel really welcome and excited for the sake breweries. Visited 4 different sake breweries and a tofu shop at a moderate pace, great energy throughout.

Outstanding tour! Hiro is an amazing tour guide. She has so much information about the sake making process and its history. Definitely wear good walking shoes and bring some water to make walking from brewery to brewery simple. Would highly recommend!

If I could give this tour with Hiro and Fumi our guides ten stars, I would. Walking the not often explored backstreets of Kobe and learning about sake making and its history was informative. But exploring the different tastes of sake was the highlight. Even better Hiro and Fumi personalized the tour by sharing their backgrounds and stopping for snack pairing with warm sake. Who knew how well dried little fishes and nuts went with sake.

This was an amazing tour. Learned so much about Sake and tasted some of the best. Aya was a fantastic guide with great knowledge of sake and special treats in between tastings. We had a wonderful few hours getting guided through five different sake distilleries with some amazing samples and some lovely local food.
It was only my wife and I on the tour so we got a really cool and intimate showing around not only the distilleries but got to learn some really interesting local history
Would reccomend to anyone wanting to learn a. It more about how sake is made or the local area!

Hiro was most certainly our group Hero for our sake tasting tour. Our small group took a few minutes to warm up, and for Hiro to understand that the American/Australian mix of the group were all very sake focused, not selfie focused visitors to the area.
The group dynamic was really relaxed, and Hiro made sure that she spoke to each of us individually during the tour - our little street side pitstop for some drinks and rice snacks was a great touch.
We all had ample time to shop at the distilleries we visited, and the tastings were well explained at each stop.
For a short afternoon, this tour was well worth the travel from Osaka.
My original booking had been moved by the organiser, which was a little bit of a shuffle from my schedule of the week (other tours and events planned), however the experience on the day was wonderful.

We wanted to experience Sake off the beaten tourist track and our tour guide Aki delivered all that and more! We visited famous breweries, local breweries and sake museums. Aki was very knowledgeable and educated us on the different types of sake and how it was made. Wear your hiking shoes and bring an empty backpack because you are going to want to buy souvenirs.

We had a great time on the tour learning about the history of sake and importantly trying sake. Our hosts were very gracious and also took us to a local boutique tofu producer. The tour was at a good pace with plenty of time to learn and taste.
