The monasteries of Meteora
The Meteora experience is one not to be missed. I picked the 14 hour tour (~4 hrs transit time each way, and 6 allowance to visit the 3 monasteries).
The bus ride was very comfortable with a half-way stop, and lunch before touring the monasteries.
The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the monasteries.
Overall it was a great experience.

The trip to Cape Sunio...
The trip to Cape Sunio was a nice break from exploring downtown Athens. We booked a 6:00 start and arrived at the perfect time to explore the area for a hour and then relax and see the sunset over the water. The drive to Sunio was beautiful along the coast and allowed us to see more of the area. So glad we booked a driver in a comfortable and clean van that easily fit our family of 4 rather than rent a car.
Our driver George was a highlight! He was an excellent driver and had so much knowledge of the area and history of Greece. We enjoyed the conversation over the course of the drive. It was the perfect end to our Greece vacation.

Good transportation but heed my tips
Essentially just coach travel to Olympia and back but well managed and timely allowing you to explore at leisure and also get food and drink in the town as you please.
Tip 1: do not use the map provided to find the meeting point, just look for the blue building next to the bus stop.
Tip 2: purchase entrance tickets ahead of time because the queues at the location can be long and badly managed.

The guys were really nice...
The guys were really nice and bubbly and brought life to the boat when there was no music playing. Boat a little packed for my liking but obviously very popular and it was a busy period that I went. One of the nicest boats on the port.
Wanted to snorkel at one stop by they didn't have any life jackets.
The island stop offs were cool but maybe this company will consider doing a lunch on the boat like many other boat rides I've had across Europe, as the lunch stop off was not nice we were just hurdles like cattle and the food was dumped on the table which was bland and like a ready meal. Other than that the actual cruise was brilliant.
The highlight was the captain, what a G! Blazed through choppy waters and was just so cool whatever the wave! Thanks guys, ahoy!

Don’t miss this excursion
We had an absolutely lovely day in Delphi. Our guide in the Van was Lilly and she was very friendly and organized. Our guide once we got to Delphi was absolutely phenomenal. We learned so many things from her and she made the day so fun. We could tell she loved what she did. We stopped at the most amazing restaurant for lunch that had an awesome view and the food was delicious. It was a great way to see a different part of Greece. That is so conveniently located near Athens. We highly recommend booking this excursion.

Wonderful day trip with cute fishing village and crystal blue water
This was a wonderful day trip. The boat has a terrific staff that will inform you about various key sites including the castles and the monastery that you see on the way from Corfu town to Paxos and Antipaxos. The boat stops in the town of Gaios for a few hours where you can eat lunch, or just walk around and explore. After that, the boat takes you to Antipaxos where I swam in the most light blue crystal clear water I’ve ever seen. On the way back a DJ plays music where my friends and I started dancing. The whole day trip was a blast and gives visitors to Corfu a great opportunity to check out the great islands of Paxos and Antipaxos nearby. A must do experience.

Our guide Sandy was an excellent friendly guide. The tour enabled us to see much of Naxos we wouldn’t have seen as we did not rent a car on the island. The stop at the beach was a perfect break in the late afternoon heat. Overall, a very good tour to help you see Naxos and understand its history and culture.

this boat trip is a wonderful experience, I highly recommend. very affordable, well planned out and the crew were super friendly! I'd recommend getting there 10 minutes early to get a nice seat, but the boat wasn't overcrowded at all. plenty of space for everyone, and staff make you feel very comfortable. lunch is good, drinks are good, the views are incredible!

Worth the Long Day for Meteora
A long day, but absolutely worth it to experience the incredible monasteries of Meteora. We visited two monasteries and stopped at a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the others — a highlight of the day.
There was one restroom break on the way to Meteora and another on the return, and the monasteries themselves also have facilities, which made the journey comfortable. The time allocated at each monastery felt adequate, and we never felt rushed while exploring.
Our guide was informative and approachable, adding helpful context throughout the day without overwhelming the experience.
Lunch was arranged at a specific restaurant that isn’t near any alternatives, so there are no other dining options. The food was decent, fairly priced, and served quickly — we were able to finish within about an hour.
Overall, it’s a long day, but the sights of Meteora are spectacular and absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommend.

Galaxy tour
We booked this exclusive tour on Viator almost by chance and got very lucky. Captain Sakis took us on his boat all the way to the famous Shipwreck Beach, right up close to the shore, then into the Blue Caves. He was able to access spots other boats couldn’t reach, always prioritizing safety — which we really appreciated since we had two young kids on board.
The 1-hour stop at White Beach for swimming and relaxing was amazing. If we ever return to Zakynthos, we’d definitely book another tour with Sakis and his team. He’s kind, professional, and truly cares about guest comfort.
After the tour we stopped for ice cream right on the beach. Tip: if you take a tour ending at 6:30 PM, there’s a local “Galaxy” taverna at the top of the harbor road. Authentic Greek food, not touristy, and very fair prices.
Thank you again, Sakis, for an unforgettable experience. Always prioritising the needs and comforts of the guest .

Great day seeing a lot of amazing historical sites
We had a wonderful day exploring with our very knowledgeable and kind guide.
We saw everything we wanted and more!
For older travelers, I would not do this tour the day after you go to the Athens Acropolis, since they both involve quite a bit of uphill walking.
Our guide tailored our tour based on our needs. He was extremely flexible.

Great way to see Athens and Sounion in a day
We had one full day to see all the important sites in Athens and this was the way to go! Andreas was professional, interesting, educated, and we got a real sense of day to day life in Athens, not to mention a good historical perspective. He drove safely in a beautiful comfortable car, stopped for lunch at a place he spent his youth near, and was prompt and responsive to any other questions or times we wanted to stop for a viewpoint. I misunderstood the quality and dollar amount "stipend" that lunch included, I would have tried more things on the menu. Also it appeared that this was a place that a bus tour could and did stop, and we would have appreciated and paid for something more private and upscale. Nevertheless, it was a great sunny day and wonderful way to see Athens. Good communication before the excursion also, which always helps. Would recommend!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Regardless of where you travel, adding a few day trips to your itinerary allows you to see more destinations without constantly moving from hotel to hotel. Greece is no exception. Here, organized day trips are an especially good idea as many places aren’t easy to reach via public transit—from Athens, for example, you can explore an ancient site like Delphi or set sail with a day trip to the islands. Greece day trips are also a great way to familiarize yourself with a city upon arrival. Spending a day in Athens or Santorini in the company of a local expert, for instance, sets you up beautifully for independent exploration later.
