What a great way to see the beautiful Island of Naxos our tour guide and driver were awesome.Our experience with our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable about every aspect of the island.Our driver George was a legend driving our bus especially on those windy roads.

This trip is a good way to explore the beautiful island which is quite large. The tour covered the hills, villages and seaside . It does not cover the old town near the port and Apollo temple , which can be explored on your own. Joseph's English accent was easy to understand and he was sweet enough to bring me next day, my water bottle which I had forgotten in one village store.
My only suggestion is that the guests

This tour is a great way to see the island highlights especially if you don't have a car or short of time. Jacob the tour guide was great and the driver was fantastic on the narrow windy roads.

The tour was fantastic and if you don’t want to drive like us, a great way to see the island. A lot of the roads are on cliffs so if you’re afraid of heights I’d sit on the left of the bus.
Jacob (our guide) and John (our driver) were great at what they do! We got driven safely around difficult terrain (especially for a bus) and Jacob gave us some Greek mythology insights as well as recommendations at each stop for food and drink.
We got our souvenirs from the talented potters of the island too which were reasonably priced and beautifully crafted.

My husband and I loved the tour. Our guide Iakovos/ Jacob was fantastic, very passionately explained the history of Naxos and very patiently answered all our queries. We loved his demonstration especially at the olive press, pottery house and the Kouros of Apollonas. The view from the top was stunning too. Would also like to appreciate our driver Mr. Leonardo who enhanced our trip with additional information here and there. All in all, we had a great time, fanatastic time management, informative and warm. Greeks are very kind and warm people. Good luck!

comprehensive tour of main points of interest on Naxos at a reasonable price point. guide (Becky) was very good, bus was dated, crowded and uncomfortable. Impossible to hear the guide when sitting in the back of the bus.

Amazing experience and worth the time and money. We only had a few days on the island and wanted to make the most of it and we did not rent a car. This was an exceptional tour that allowed you to see the main areas of the island all in a day. Our tour guide Vicki was so wonderful and she really made it a great experience. If you are short on time or want to take a tour of the island without the headache of doing it yourself, I would highly recommend this small tour.

Guide and driver made a great team. They were friendly, informative and very considerate. The regular guide was ill and the driver's daughter filled in at short notice. She did an excellent job under the circumstances. It was extremely windy and a decision was made to have lunch at the centre of the island rather than on the sea shore. This was a good decision as conditions on the shore were very unpleasant. We saw most of the things that Naxos had to offer. The bus was very comfortable, the driver did not take any risks and we felt safe despite the narrow roads.

This tour is worth the price, it’s a full day, I think we were back between 5-5.30pm. The reason for 4 star is I contacted the company the day before to confirm pick up details to have a reply saying that pick up was in Chora and we were in Plaka. I messaged back to say about selecting local pick up but no response, messaged again and no response in fact still no response. We ended up buying bus tickets and heading to the stated pick up in Chora so we didn’t miss the tour this meant we had to miss breakfast at the hotel to make it there timely. The tour itself gave a good overview of the island, Thomas our guide was very knowledgeable about the island. The only thing I would say is the stop at the temple of Demeter probably requires an extra 15-20 mins. As we had been up early a toilet break was required and due to limited toilets we spent the time in the queue instead of being able to visit the museum. The same with Chalkio the time it took for Citron tasting and purchasing there was no time left to have a quick look at the village. This unfortunately would make the day longer and probably and therefore would probably put the price up. Overall a great day and the driver dropped us back in Plaka would recommend.

What a great experience seeing a side of Naxos away from the hustle and bustle. We admired Vegelis’s driving skills and Renas endless history of Naxos and Greece (please excuse the misspelling of their names). It was a day filled with history, exploration and fun in the sun.

The tour of Naxos was comprehensive but there was not enough time to enjoy all of the unique qualities of The Villages. I suggest fewer stops with longer time to enjoy such as the Marble Village. I was concerned about my safety because the driver was holding and talking on a cell phone while driving on steep curved roads. I would also encourage the guide to point out where we are on our tour by referencing the map of the island and providing more details about each area.

While we were waiting for our pickup, many other bus tours came by. Their busses were nicer and newer. There was confusion about a pickup of a client, so we were delayed by 1/2 an hour. We basically chased the other busses. We all went to the same places. When our tour ended, with still the bus ride back, the bus broke down. We were stranded in the middle of nowhere, it was EXTREMELY hot and we had to wait for a little over an hour for another bus. We requested a refund. They would only give us 25% back for our inconvenience

It s a fact that the HIGHLIGHTS FD tour includes stops that most tour companies on the island do. When the bus broke down , all the stops had already been done thats the reason 25% refund was given. It requires about an hour to get from Naxos town to Apollonas where the accident happened so as soon as it happened ,the driver called immediately for back up bus,which means that nothing else could be done but wait. We are sorry for the unfortunate event .

Joesph gave an excellent commentary on the history of the island and was prepared to announce all questions.
I was disappointed that the visit to the olive press did not include a tasting and the opportunity to purchase olive oil to take as gifts to family and friends. A free map with brief descriptions would be inexpensive to hand to clients and would certainly help the day come alive.

We really enjoyed visiting the pottery workshop which was really informative and showed different traditional Naxian pottery techniques.
We also enjoyed getting to see the mountain Villages and the tour guide gave a good mythological and historical background to many of the places we went.
The speaker system on the bus was a bit shaky so it was difficult to hear what he was saying at times. But when it was clear he gave a quite detailed explanations. We really enjoyed our day trip around Naxos.
The driver expertly manages those little mountain roads. There is a good variety between modern and ancient History included on the tour and it gives you good overview of Naxos culture and villages.
One little thing is that I wish we had more time in the village of Chalkio! It's so beautiful there and though we had a small amount of time it was not enough to truly explore the old market. Also for clarity the citron tasting is also a suggested activity in the village but not included in the tour as we thought from the interary.

The stops along the way we're all interesting. The driver was great, navigating the large bus on the winding roads. The tour guide had some interesting information to share. The bus had no air conditioning, so was sweltering and it wasn't even a hot day (24C). The tour took 10 hours, not 8, and because of the heat in the bus felt excruciatingly long
