We had a wonderful cruise! We stopped att Nea Kameni for a hike up to the calderas, went swimming in the hot springs and had a nice lunch on Thirasia at Captain John. A special thanks has to go out to our guide “Captain Jack” Spyros! He told us about the islands history, eruptions among other things. I would definitely recommend the tour!

This is a great trip, we enjoyed every aspect of it. The boat, crew and guide made it a great day out. The variety at the stops was amazing and the time at each stop worked perfectly. The views of Santorini from the boat are spectacular. This trip is a “must do” when visiting Santorini.

Cruise from Santorini

Nanda_K, Aug 2026
Very well organized. Visitors need to be in a decent state of health for an uphill climb to watch the effects of the volcanoes which is one part of the trip.

Great, fun time

Cameron_T, Aug 2026
Great views, good food at the last stop. The waves were choppy that day and it was still a blast. For the price you get a lot for a whole day

Quite chilled boat trip...

Quite chilled boat trip the third stop is the best to get food and the swim in the water is very good

Great way to visit the island

Rebecca_N, Aug 2026
Very well organised trip with 3 stops. The first at the volcano which we chose to stay on the boat as it was super hot. The guide took other people on the hike which took about an hour. There are drinks available for purchase so it was pleasant just listening to music and having a drink. The second stop was the hot springs, there is a 50m swim to get from the boat to the shallows and noodles are available. They do warn you that it can stain light coloured swimwear but also I would suggest not wearing any jewellery. Wouldn't recommend this swim unless confident. It was lovely and warm and the mud was a very strange texture. After this stop was the island. Very quaint and a good selection of tavernas and ice cream places. You can swim in the sea here and its very clear but recommend sea shoes as its pebbles and boulders to enter the sea. We did see a sign upon leaving that said swim area (to the right as you face the beach) so not sure if this has better access. I think anyone with mobility issues would struggle to get in and out on the main beach. Nevertheless it was a beautiful island and worth the visit and didnt feel rushed here as had about 2/3 hours. On the way back our seats in the shade were taken so it got pretty hot, so take a hat. You then sail back through the Caldera and can take pics of Oia and Fira, the views are spectacular. The staff are really great and look after everyone and I would highly recommend this trip.

The cruise directors were great and very knowledgeable. They played traditional Greek music on the boat and stopped and pointed out things along the way. The recommendations from the crew were great.

Overcrowded ship

Cathy_B, Jul 2026
Do not recommend this excursion. They completely overcrowded the ship with entirely too many people. The first stop at the volcanic island was another 5 euros and while you can skip going on the island and not pay, there is absolutely nothing else to do except sit on the boat for 2 hrs. We did go in. It was very boring - literally a bunch of rocks. The second stop at the hot springs was fun but it was only 30 mins. Last stop was fine - a rundown island. Stopped for lunch and ice cream. The excursion takes way more than 6 hrs if you need pick up and drop off. We had to wait like 44 mins before we got off the boat and on the bus to go back. We were a family of 4 with 2 teen boys. We could have skipped this one.

Leo_F, Jul 2026
Not really much to see at third drop off .swimming was great in the thermal waters .even for less fit people the volcanic hike was worthwhile as it gave you a flavor of the island and some good views of Santorini.

It was very informative and enjoyable, but the day was extremely hot. Wear good walking shoes, no flip flops

An Amazing Experience

Khadijeh_R, Jul 2026
I had an excellent experience with this tour and would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini. From the moment I booked, communication was outstanding. Everything was explained clearly, the itinerary was well organized, and all the pickup and timing details were communicated in advance, so I always knew exactly what to expect. Although the tour officially departed from Fira, they kindly arranged pickup for me in Oia, which was incredibly convenient. Since it was my last day in Santorini, I also asked if I could be dropped off at the airport instead of returning to Oia. They arranged transportation for me, and when we returned to the port on time, another vehicle was already waiting to take me directly to the airport. This made my last day completely stress-free and so much easier. Our guide, Spiros, was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and very informative throughout the tour. He made the experience both enjoyable and educational. Everything ran exactly as planned, we stayed on schedule, and the entire experience was smooth from beginning to end. I truly appreciated how organized and accommodating the team was. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a professional, well-organized, and enjoyable experience in Santorini. Thank you for making my last day on the island so easy and memorable!

Too fast no time to swim

Too fast ,no time to swim and ever , if we spend time having lunch there’s no time to go up and down the escalator .

The views on tour were breathtaking. The crew and captain were very kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe. Lunch was amazing at Captain John's. Just an all around wonderful day trip.

Beach time

elizabeth_r, Jul 2026
It was amazing just wish the beach area was more like a sand beach not stones which was difficult to walk in

Caldera tour

Paul_R, Jul 2026
The tour company were great when I missed my pick up time and I made the trip at the next stop in the Old Port at santorini.Their team was really accommodating . the tour guide Spiros was excellent really knowledgeable and helpful to us but also good fun.

Incredible value for money.

Anita_M, Jul 2026
This was a fantastic day out, we started by climbing the volcano, which was manageable with a great tour guide. Wear trainers though as loose stones etc. The boat was lovely with loos and a little bar. Then we swam in the hot springs on the second stop and then went to Thirassia for lunch at Captain Johns, which had a gorgeous view and great seafood. We thought it incredible value for money and a lovely way to see other parts of the islands.

Perfect day

Spiro and rest of the crew were great. Very good value for money. Would do it again. Very different than more relaxing catamaran cruises, this is a bit of an adventure.

Nice boat ride and caldera visit.

Kevin_R, Jun 2026
We got to see 3 different locations. The hike to the caldera was a decent hike. Wear good sneakers, no flip flops. The hot springs was mediocre, you need a dark colored swimsuit. If you have a light colored suit especially white, it will get sulfur stained. The last island we stopped at was nothing much. But the boat ride itself was beautiful. The best part was the caldera and the views of Santorini you get from the boat. So beautiful.

Super ! Caldera Boat. The guide speaks 4 language

Aleksandra_R, Jun 2026
Super ! A very knowledgeable and friendly guide and tour captain aboard the Caldera Boat. The guide speaks at least 4 languages fluently, which made communication easy and enjoyable throughout the trip. We were truly impressed by his professionalism and language skills. He was also extremely helpful in organizing transportation to the port, arranging a convenient pickup near our hotel, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Everything was perfectly organized, and the boat itself was excellent. The whole excursion took place in a fantastic atmosphere and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this tour!

Recommend!

Shant_K, Jun 2026
Very nice experience. The boat was nice and spacey. Great crew and service. Definitely recommend! A must see while in Santorini

We enjoyed the cruise...

Thomas_L, Jun 2026
We enjoyed the cruise itself. We thought we were going to be on a catamaran but instead we were on a wood ship. The boat tour itself was very enjoyable. The staff on the boat were wonderful. Transportation was an issue. The bus had many stops and took a very long time. Going back the bus left without us and others from our ship. It turned around and picked us up. From what I observed I would ask to be put on the wood sail like boat vs the catamaran.

Scenic cruise and volcano trek

Mindy_M, Jun 2026
Definitely an ambitious walk to top of volcano, however, plenty of scenic vistas along the way to enjoy or even end your walk at before heading back down. Enjoyed the information provided.

Lovely day

Maya_S, May 2026
Great tour, great value, nice boat! Loved the waterfront restaurants on Thirassia. So many choices and very affordable. Liked all stops and that we returned by seeing Oia by boat.

Great Day!

Christa_C, May 2026
Our family had a great time. There’s was enough time for all 3 activities. It was great that the boat had refreshments and bathrooms.

Fantastic value for money brilliant staff on board shout out to captain Jack despite the rain had a great time

Fun experience

Charlotte_D, May 2026
It was cool to see other parts of Santorini besides Thira. There’s no bad seat on the boat. Wear good walking shoes for the volcano and your bathing suit for the swim. It is more of a warm spring than hot spring, but we still had a lot of fun. We enjoyed seeing all the cats on Thirassia too.

We had a great time but I...

Danielle_S, May 2026
We had a great time but I think it’s important to know you will be crammed on the boat with 100 other people.

Fantastic

Drew_M, May 2026
Overall, we thought this tour was great! Definitely wear shoes for the volcano portion of the tour as the terrain is steep at several points and the trails are loose rock. The stop at the hot spring was an ample amount of time (around 30 minutes swimming) since we came in low/shoulder season in May so the water was cold but so much fun to jump into as you swim to the hot springs from the boat. Therassia was a very nice 2 hour stop where we had a few drinks and had the choice to swim if you wanted to. We would definitely recommend this tour! Our guide was great however, I would recommend to the tour company to invest in some way of amplifying the tour guide’s voice. We couldn’t hear too well due to the wind.
