Pick up instructions perfect👌 Driver Nick very informative, punctual & humerous. Need EUR .05 for public toilets. Not suitable for those with mobility issues, although buggy transfers available to get you up & down the hill. Streets narrow with many steps too. T-Veg an absolute must even if you aren’t vegan/vegetarian/gluten free:) Well worth the visit.

Travel to this must-see whitewashed town by air-conditioned minivan or small coach, and stroll and sightsee independently. Simply get picked up from your hotel in Rhodes, Ixia, Ialyssos, Kallithea, or Faliraki, and start your adventure with a ride to the town of Lindos. Relax in an air-conditioned minivan or small coach, ensuring your comfort throughout the journey. Before arriving, make a photo stop at a panoramic viewpoint.

Once in town, you have the freedom to explore at your own pace. Wander the picturesque streets, visit the Acropolis (at an additional cost), soak up the sun on the beaches, and browse local shops and tavernas at your leisure. A customized take-away guide that includes a map of Lindos, directions, and fascinating historical information is provided.

As you depart from Rhodes Town, pass by all five ports and catch views of the countryside and Mediterranean Sea as you drive through Afandou valley.

Fantastic trip to Lindos

Nicos the driver was wonderful. 4 hours free time in Lindos is time well spent. Wear your swim outfit and go to one of the beaches into the Aegean sea. The beaches are rocky so wearing aqua shoes may make the experience more pleasant. Afterwards, wander through the streets of Lindos and take in the sights and sounds. The main square is very busy with the taxis and buses. Sunscreen and a hat are a must. The views are astounding from every angle and you can get breathtaking pictures.

Being somewhat mobility challenged i was disappointed when i found there was no easy way to the acropolis. Please divulge this in your description. That was why we went and got to spend the time shopping! Very disappointing

In our tour description, the Acropolis of Lindos is mentioned only as one of the optional attractions guests may choose to visit during their free time in Lindos, alongside the beach, shops, restaurants, and village itself. At no point do we state that access to the Acropolis is included, guided, or easily accessible for all mobility levels. Additionally, our description clearly states that guests should have a moderate physical condition. As with any destination visit, we encourage travelers to review the location beforehand to ensure it is suitable for their personal mobility needs and expectations. Had we been informed in advance about any mobility concerns, we would have gladly provided further advice, as we regularly do for other guests. Just a ride to Lindos beach!

Historical Lindos trip

Great value transfer to Lindos. Small group minibus. George our driver was very friendly and gave lots of facts on the way to Lindos. He also recommended we visited the Acropolis first which was a fantastic tip as when we left there was a very long queue for entrance tickets. We had a very enjoyable trip.

It's basically just a bus transfer to the town, appart from the fact that the driver talks about what you can see on the way. It was good, the driver was aperson who loves their job, and loves their life.

An experience.

A very busy destination. So expect this. Also a steep walk down to sea. Then of course back. Not for the faint hearted. Especially on a warm day. There are taxis. There is a service bus to go down to the town and back. Our coach or bus was very uncomfortable with little suspension. Not like a normal luxury type coach. The driver was pleasant but said little. Probably pleased to have gone but would not repeat. Certainly not on this bus.

A great trip to Lindos

A great day out to Lindos! Pick up/drop off were on time & efficient - all information provided & easy to follow. While this is a self guided tour, our driver Nikos was very informative & entertaining on the way & provided plenty of knowledge & tips - and a good playlist 😎 As recommended by Nikos, we headed straight to the Acropolis on arrival. We were thankful for this as queues can get quite lengthy so we’re glad we had plenty of time to enjoy this rather than trying to allocate enough time later on. From there we explored & had food in one of the many rooftop restaurants with amazing views. Of course we would love to have spent longer in Lindos! But we felt this trip was more than enough time to visit the must see spots, and would definitely do it again in future 🙂
