- We pick up our guests from central places in Naxos Town, Stelida, Agia Anna, Agios Prokopios and Plaka Beach. In other case our guests can meet us directly at our starting point.
- On Tuesdays the Demeter's Temple is closed. Instead we will spend more time in our other stops
- This tour will take place rain or shine. Small changes may apply to the itinerary in case of rough weather
- A big part of the trip is through winding, mountainous roads. Please carry travel sickness pills in case you feel uneasy
- The tour guide is not licensed and thus not allowed to guide you inside Demeter's Temple. You will get all the information about the monument before you enter the gate.
- On the 1st of May the Demeter's Temple will be closed.
- During the spring and autumn months, temperatures in the mountain villages can be 4–5°C (40–41°F) lower than along the coast. We recommend bringing a light jacket to ensure you stay comfortable throughout the tour.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 49 travelers

Roula provided terrific commentary and kept everyone on track. Spiros was an excellent driver who kept us safe. Overall, a great opportunity to get out of Chora for a day to see a variety of villages and sites. I thought it was a good mix of activities and we had ample time to explore on our own. It absolutely makes me want to return to Naxos so I can visit some additional spots; but it was a perfect day out and ideal for a non-driver like me (or for anyone who doesn’t feel like navigating hairpin turns on narrow mountain roads).
An excellent tour which gave us a really good introduction to Naxos as we were limited to just a few days on this beautiful island. We plan to come back to visit again but stay for longer!
Our guide was superb. Very knowledgeable and clear in her explanations and very friendly and approachable too as was our driver.
This tour was a great way to see the island and learn more about Naxos . Sandy our guide was excellent. Only wish had more time at pottery display and oil olive still was very rushed and with all the people didn’t get a great view but overall excellent tour for the price . Definitely recommend if you want to see the mountains and little villages along with some historic things in Naxos.
It’s a great way to know the whole island in 1 day including its history, mythology, important and picturesque villages, and archeological sites, without having to drive yourself. It is quite great value for the reasonable price. Learned so much. Our tour guide Thanos was witty and knowledgeable. Our driver Spiros was amazing at handling the huge bus and piloting it into narrow village streets and sharp cliff roads. Felt safe the entire time.

Perfect if you have only a short time in Naxos. Trip was smooth and easy. You get to see each of the charming towns of Naxos. Thanos (tour guide) & Spiros (bus driver) ensured a smooth, safe and interesting trip, sharing lots of cool information about the island and various towns and places we visited.
It’s a highlight tour of areas outside Naxos so we were able to see a lot of places and gorgeous mountain scenery. Some of the places I feel could have been skipped as having too many places made us rush through each location. Overall it was a good time. Sandy was a good guide!
An experience into the hidden gems of Naxos. A great insight into the scenery, history and culture. Made even better by the knowledge of guide Thanos and driving of Spiros. Thanos’ wish was for us all to feel ten percent Greek, a wish he achieved.
I can’t recommend this tour enough. The tour provided great highlights of Naxos and we saw everything important to see on the island. The tour guide, Kyriaki was very knowledgeable and friendly. The driver , Vaggeli got us from each point safely. It was such a great tour. I learned so much about Naxos in one day!
This tour was absolutely worthwhile. It covers many of the island’s key highlights, offers great value, features excellent stops, and the guide was fantastic.
You get to view different parts of Naxos that you might not have been able to and with the best tour guide and driver possible. It is an 8 hour trip but it is packed with many activities and time to explore. I would definitely recommend!

This was a great way to see Naxos. It had a great variety of things to do from ruins in the morning, to an old olive oil factory, to lunch with a view and then time at the beach and an old marble quarry to finish the day off. We also met some really cool people on the bus.
Great way to see the highlights without worrying about driving. Our driver and guide were great. We left the beach until the end which made for a relaxing drive back. Convenient pick up locations.
This is a long day experience for sure. It’s a good way to get taken around the island and hear a little of the history. I think that maybe the old olive oil press and pottery stops can be taken out to allow for more time at another place or longer time at one of the other stops. The pottery was very pretty but not sure how many people even purchase anything if you will be transporting it. We were also informed we could have lunch at a certain spot but wished we had been reminded that we would stop at the beach area for a certain amount of time and that lunch there would also be possible if we choose not to swim. Sunday was a good narrator, easy to understand and vasilias was a great and safe driver.
Amazing day tour - saw lots of the island and had some down time at each spot. Our tour guide Thanos was outstanding - clear speaking, happy and upbeat, and told some great mythology stories. One of the best tour guides I’ve had. Vasilis was our driver and also was great! 10/10!
It’s a long day, but you visit many places and even got to have a swim! Spiros the bus driver was amazing, very skilled at navigating the narrow winding roads! Would recommend this tour!
Roula and Bill were fantastic! Bill knew how to navigate the narrow, mountainous roads so well! Roula was a great historian and shared so much knowledge with us. We were able to see so much of the island that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. My favorite part was visiting the villages and especially Apolloanos! I highly recommend this tour. For the cheap cost, it’s definitely worth spending a full day exploring the different areas the island has to offer.

We had a really great day with sandy and spiros. Take your bathing suit and change of clothes for apollon and bring motion sickness pills if you are not ok with curving mountain roads. It was a marvel just to watch spiros handle the bus!
A nice day trip that allowed you to see various villages of Náxos. I really enjoyed the trip to the pottery studio and learning how they used to make olive oil. The pottery was very reasonably priced. Chalki has really good spices in Naxia Natura. Angeliki provided lots of facts and Spiros kept us safe on those winding roads.
We travelled with Thanos and Vasilis and really enjoyed this daytrip! It felt like a great way to get to know a lot of different places around Naxos in a short amount of time. Thanos was a great guide, giving us a lot of information about Naxos, the places we visited, and even sharing his personal experience on being a Naxian. Great food recommendations too!
Overall, we would definitely recommend anyone visiting Naxos without a car to give this tour a try.
Thanos and Spiros were fantastic! This was a great tour. We got to see the whole island at a great pace. Thanos was extremely knowledge as a local and had great recommendations for food stops. The pottery stop was a hidden gem and great prices for beautiful pieces. The roads are so challenging to drive if you rent a car, Spiros was such a safe and effortless driver. Made it much easier to get around than seeing it ourselves and renting a car. Also very affordable!
Thanos our guide and Vasilis our driver were fantastic. Thanos was very knowledgeable being a local and answered all my questions. All the places visited were excellent. Really enjoyed the whole trip which was very well managef by Thanos. Some very windy roads were handled easily by Vasilis.
It was a great way to see the island! We enjoyed the air-conditioned bus and not having to plan or drive ourselves. Our stops in the villages gave us plenty of time to explore on our own and the option to have lunch where we chose. We were a family of 5 adults with different preferences, and we all enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was informative and personable.
So pleased we did this. I don’t usually do tours, but this was brilliant! Thanos our guide was so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. We learned loads about Naxos, including lots of Greek mythology stories connected to the island. The mountain villages were stunning and the interior and coastal countryside amazing. I never would’ve had the confidence (or time) to negotiate the mountain roads of Naxos, so this tour gave us a real good sense of what the island was about. Huge respect to Vassalli our driver for negotiating those tight mountain bends and village roads made for donkeys!! Thank you so much to you both!
It is a wonderful way to see the hidden treasures of Naxos. The bus ride is a more relaxing way to take in the scenery with the tour director explaining the surroundings.
Everything was excellent. The guide was very knowledgeable and the bus driver very skilled.
I would have like to spend more time in each stop.
The limited time did not allow to enjoy each small village to its fullest.
