- We pick up our guests from central places in Naxos Town, Stelida, Agia Anna, Agios Prokopios and Plaka Beach. In other case our guests can meet us directly at our starting point.
- On Tuesdays the Demeter's Temple is closed. Instead we will spend more time in our other stops
- This tour will take place rain or shine. Small changes may apply to the itinerary in case of rough weather
- A big part of the trip is through winding, mountainous roads. Please carry travel sickness pills in case you feel uneasy
- The tour guide is not licensed and thus not allowed to guide you inside Demeter's Temple. You will get all the information about the monument before you enter the gate.
- On the 1st of May the Demeter's Temple will be closed.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 49 travelers

A great way to see the local life of the people of Naxos. We got to visit a bunch of the small villages and see a few of the important landmarks of the island. The pottery demo and the olive oil press were my favorite parts.

Loved this tour of Naxos. Alex was funny and very informative, tour ran like clockwork. Loved the mythological tales while we were travelling as much as the history of the area. Highly recommended. If I come back with family we’ll definitely do this tour again.

Very good way to see the island and learn some of its history. The driver and guide were both good. The guide was enthusiastic & knowledgable, the only negative was that guide was a bit too quick leaving the bus at stops so those last getting off the bus weren’t quite sure where to go.

I was blown away by this tour. The scenery alone was worth it. The whole route was absolutely stunning. The villages were wonderfully charming and I had a lovely time all around. I went solo and was completely comfortable. The group guide Thanos was amazing and had a pleasant and friendly demeanor and was also very informative. Our driver Vasilis did an incredible job maneuvering the bus on the narrow mountain roads. I felt safe in their company and I had no worries the entire tour. All in all, I am so pleased I booked this tour and it was a really wonderful experience! I have an even bigger appreciation for Naxos now and I already loved it before the tour! This was the perfect tour to see the highlights of the island. Our guide, Thanos, was phenomenal and shared things about the island, made the bus ride fun, and was very knowledgeable. This was a great sightseeing tour of Naxos. There is ample time to walk around and see the sites that you are taken to. The bus is very comfortable and as mentioned before the road is windy and narrow, but the bus driver did a great job. Our tour guide was very friendly and helpful and we felt like we were in safe hands

Highly recommended tour of Naxos. Our guide Thanos was fantastic and Vaselis drove the large air conditioned bus providing us with a great duo. We saw so much and had time to explore at each stop. This trip is very well organized.

This tour was a great way to experience some of the highlights in Naxos! As someone who doesn't drive or doesn't want to rent a car, this tour is a must. We got to see quaint little mountain villages with delicious food, a beautiful beach, and some other amazing sights. Our guide was also wonderful.

Be prepared for a lot of curves, switch backs and tight corners. If you are affected by motion sickness, take something ahead of time.
The guide could provide more information while travelling through the country side. Describing why all the rocks are piled in long rows, how the terraces were made, the significance of a church on the highest mountain peak, what activities do these tiny villages have after the tourist season, etc. Or perhaps make themselves available for questions while driving.

My partner and I booked this trip and were not disappointed! Our guide, Angeliki, was wonderful - very knowledgable, friendly and available for questions throughout the day. The tour has a strict schedule in order to see everything listed on the itinerary but this is totally doable and we even had time for a delicious lunch and a swim in the sea. Would 100% recommend in order to experience the highlights of Naxos, an amazing island that includes historical villages, pottery and marble artisans and the temple of Demeter.

Chose this on my first proper day to get a feel of Naxos, it was great value, and heard the coach had AC! The day was an utter delight, the coach was comfy and cool, driven with utter expertise by Vasilis - an automotive mountain goat in human clothing!
Thanos was the consummate guide - charming, eloquent, clear and very educational throughout. It was also very apparent during the tour that he took time to greet and get to know each of the group individually, which I really appreciated.
Each of the stops was just right in length and seeing Temple of Dionysus and Kouros statue were awesome inspiring, and Halki and Apiranthos village were utterly dreamy.

This tour covered some really interesting parts of the island, that you wouldn’t get to on your own. Make sure you put in your bathers for a swim at the beautiful beach at Apollonas Beach!

Alex was our guide and offered a wonderful overview of beautiful Naxos and Greek mythology all day long. Vasilis was our very skillful bus driver who handled the steep mountain terrain and tight turns with ease. The village visits were amazing and most enjoyable.

Great way to get a feel for the island! I took this tour on my first full day on Naxos. I felt it was a great introduction to the island and very informative. Make sure to bring some water, and maybe a tote bag as I did more shopping than I intended! Alex was an excellent guide as well. For the price, this tour is a steal!

It was a long day but provided a good introduction to the island. I do think the tour guide could have had a bit more energy. She gave us information about the island but didn’t provide much detail at the stops. Other groups seemed to have more engaged guides.

We stopped in villages and got a real taste of rural Greek culture. Our guide spoke English like a native. She is charming and gracious and knew so much about Greek culture, history, and mythology. I am an English teacher and she helped me understand the myths on a new level. A fun tour and can be enjoyed for all tastes.
