Amazing Cairo Tour

Adham was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a thorough and engaging overview at the Grand Egyptian Museum. His insights really brought the history to life. He also went above and beyond by taking some great photos of us at the pyramids and even helped arrange access for us to go inside one of them, which was unforgettable. One of the highlights of the day was enjoying a delicious lunch while cruising on a small boat on the Nile — such a unique and relaxing experience. A must choose

Hossam was a very knowledgeable tour guide on everything pyramids and history. He spoke perfect English and Italian, and was good at dispelling pyramid conspiracies. He took me to the best shops in town for clothes, papyrus, and scents. The camel and quad bike rides were so exciting, which he facilitates. Finally, lunch was amazing with a pyramid view and more stories and information from Hossam. Best guide ever

I had a phenomenal tour with my tour guide Selvia and driver Raafat. Selvia in particular was such a treat: she was energetic and genuinely interested in helping people understand the unique aspects of Coptic Cairo as well as connecting with them. One can truly tell she loves what she does and shows deep attention to the history and stories that make each destination come alive. Also, this tour company went above and beyond in accommodating a last minute booking from me. They arranged everything within an hour of me making a same day booking after my former plans fell through and thanks to them I got to see much more than I planned with an exceptional tour guide. Highly recommend both this company and specific tour!

A really good trip

The tour was really well organised. Basem (not sure I’ve spelled that right) was a knowledgeable young tour guide who we felt very comfortable with. He ensured we saw everything we wanted to see and at a good pace. If you have at least two days in Cairo I would recommend taking this tour to see the beginning of the pyramid building programme. Our driver was careful and we felt comfortable with him driving. We were happy with Basem as our tour guide and asked him to guide us for the rest of our time in Cairo.

Very helpful guide

We enjoyed our trip to the GEM a lot. Our guide Asmaa was extremely helpful when one of us fell and got injured. She organised immediate help and got us a cup of tea to calm us down. We probably lost this time and did not see all the museum but we saw the Tutankhamen gallery and our guide gave us a lot of information. The meal was nice and we were taken back to the hotel by our friendly driver Muhammed.

Superb trip - definitely get involved

Fantastic guided tour around both the pyramids and the museum, Having seen the chaos around Cairo it was a pleasure to have Asma collect me from my hotel and take my firstly to the pyramids talk me through the history she kept it factual but not over beating with information, and then on to the grand Egyptian Museum Wow what an incredible building and packed with such history.

Pyramids, GEM and shops in Giza

We had a fun time visiting the Pyramids in Giza and Grand Egyptian Museum with our guide Zenab and her capable driver. We had a short and very memorable ride on camels, great photos taken by our separate camel guide. Our guide then took us through the pyramids area. After touring the Pyramids we visited three shops selling perfumes/oils, making papyrus and spices. These shops were not high pressure sales like the bazaars. We bought something from each. This was followed by buffet lunch and museum. A full day. The museum is massive and could easily be a full day on its own if you are have a strong interest in the kings of Egypt.

A great day out with a great guide

Our guide Hadeer was graceful, forthright, intelligent and a darling. She was very patient with us old confused people. She adapted the tour around what we had already seen and managed the time in new places accordingly. I wonderful guide. The trip to saqqara was fascinating, besides the pyramids the serapeum is a must visit. The huge sarcophaguses are awe inspiring. From there on to Dahshur for more pyramids, then on to Memphis for the colossus of Ramses and the amazing sphinx of Hatshepsut. A great day out especially with a wonderful guide.

Nile tour on a budget

Was looking for a medium priced Nile tour. There were numerous offerings at different price points. I could not work out what the differences were based on so booked an inexpensive tour. had a great time. Sights were great touring was great food was good. You always have to be a bit careful in Egypt. There is a pecking order with Nile cruises. The more luxurious and expensive boats moor along the riverbank with the less luxurious boats moored alongside and so on. We were the fifth boat of five from the riverbank so we clambered though four other boats receptions to get to the wharf, that was fun in itself. Really great value and loads of fun. Had to get an amended pickup which was no problem for the tour operator. Scammers wait on the river bank claiming to know you as they "work" on the boat as a chef. Took a ride with a scammer and worked out what was going on and bought the cheapest scam item we could find to avoid confrontation. For $20 I got a good story. Would do a Nile cruise again if in the area.
