Worth the money!!!!

Knowledgeable and friendly guide

Our guide, Mohammed, is working on his PhD, so he practically grew up in the library, which is where the tour started. He is very knowledgeable and seems to know everyone in town! The tour hit lots of sites in this city that is both ancient and modern. The catacombs are not to be missed!

8 hours really is not enough, But what a great tour!

A full day private tour of the ancient Egypt, well presented with respect to the nature. Mahmoud Hoka, our tour guide was well educated, knowledgeable, friendly, and a great photographer, while our driver was efficient and careful on the crazy roads of Cairo. We started with a peaceful camel ride around the panorama of Giza, then walked through the great pyramids and the sphinx with lots of storytelling regarding the monuments. We took a break by having a buffet lunch in a very nice restaurant before we head to the new Grand Egyptian Museum. It is simply incredible, our guide Mahmoud knowing that we could not see it all in the time we had available offered to show us the highlights and he did an excellent job. My wife & I highly recommended this tour and feel it was completely worth it.

The guide will...

The guide will communicate with you the night before thru WhatsApp. And then the day off to let you know when the driver will come. The driver picked us up in a nice van, very comfortable. It all went very smoothly! It was a perfect tour if you just have 1/2 a day! Our guide did wonderful telling us the history of the pyramids and sphinx. He spoke excellent English. Would definitely recommend!

Ibrahim Exceeded All Expectations (and they were high!)

We were only in Egypt for two days! So we had a lot of eggs in one basket hoping for lifetime memories of Egypt, Cairo, Giza and the pyramids! It was a lot to ask but this tour really delivered, principally because of our tour guide Ibrahim and the friendliest driver in the world, Sameer. Ibrahim was incredible, his English was impeccable and he spoke eloquently about Egyptian history, politics, traditions and the idiosyncrasies of Cairo culture. He was funny, engaging, patient and great with our two girls. More than all of this he gave us an incredibly passionate and informed reading of the history of the pyramids - he seemed particularly well informed having studied Egyptology in Oxford. Ibrahim anchored the mysteries of the Pharaohs and their tombs in historical terms and painted in rich technicolour the awesome achievements and vision of the ancient Egyptians. Seriously he was brilliant. In addition to bringing us to a much clearer understanding of ancient Egypt - he was sensitive to our need as a young family to have some moments to ourselves to be daft and have fun and he took some great pictures. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Our driver who spoke little English was smiling and generous and drove considerately. The lunch was delicious with a front seat view of the pyramids. The camel ride was a blast too! We had a fantastic day and came away from Egypt with lasting memories of our brief moment in the mind-bending history of the Pyramids. P.S. We went in May which seems to be a good time - it was really quiet and manageable heat.

Book this tour! Phenomenal

The driver picked us up on time and it was a relief having him stay throughout the tour. Being able to get directly into a vehicle and store your items throughout the day made the trip so much more comfortable. Also cut down on wait times and walking. Our tour guide, Passant, was amazing. She gave an abundance of history with pride. Additionally, her tips and suggestions when navigating purchases were super helpful. Thanks to Passant we were able to keeps memories of each moment with her picture taking. The pyramids are spectacular and the weather was gorgeous!! We enjoyed the papyrus presentation as well as sampling Egyptian oils. Don’t delay, book the tour!

There’s no better way to see the Pyramids of Giza than this tour!

We had a wonderful time and the entire itinerary never felt too busy or too packed! We had the opportunity to learn about Egyptian history and choose our own adventure with ATVs camel rides and a delicious traditional Egyptian lunch! He took my sisters and me to Saqqara and Memphis, where we saw the incredible Step, Bent, and Red Pyramids, along with the Sphinx in Memphis. His knowledge was impressive—he explained everything in a way that was both informative and genuinely engaging—and his sense of humor kept us laughing the entire time. What really stood out was how much he cared about our experience. Hussam made sure we were comfortable, having fun, and getting the most out of every stop. He also took amazing photos of us, capturing moments we’ll truly treasure for a lifetime. We chose to visit these pyramids before seeing the Great Pyramid, and it was the perfect decision—far less crowded and much easier to explore, which made the experience even more special. He also brought us to a restaurant with beautiful views of the pyramids, and the lunch was delicious. His car was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made traveling between sites smooth and relaxing. Outstanding historical tour – a must-do in Egypt!

I highly recommend this tour to Saqqara, Memphis, and Dahshur. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Exploring the Step Pyramid, the Bent Pyramid, and the Red Pyramid gave us such a deep understanding of Egypt's history that you simply don't get by only visiting Giza. The organization was professional, and the pace was perfect. It was wonderful to see these ancient sites without the overwhelming crowds. If you want to see the "real" history of pyramid building with a reliable and knowledgeable team, this is the tour to book. Truly a highlight of our trip!

King Mina is the Best!

Our guide "King" Mina was great & very knowledgeable! We had an amazing experience/adventure. So much to see & take in! The hot air balloon ride on the last day was also an awesome experience. The boat was in good condition. The rooms were spacious and clean. All the staff was pleasant and helpful. The itinerary was well planned out - this is a go go go adventure vs a restful sit in the sun cruise but well worth doing. The only criticism I had was that the food was average at best. There was a good variety of options at the buffet but overall not memorable in terms of taste/food quality.
