Sam was an amazing guide for the day. We could feel his excitement for the history he shared with us. He was knowledgable about the pyramids and adapted the day for the things we wanted. He also rearranged the day to try and have the shortest lines possible. Incredible experience

Excellent guide very flexible great language skills very knowledgeable saw more than we expected. Highly recommended

If you are Claustrophobic save your money and pass up going inside the pyramids! You must also be physically fit to go inside. There is a lot of bending, crouching and even some crawling with inclines and declines. Just seeing the pyramids and hearing the history from a guide is amazing!!! I would not go to the pyramids without a guide. They have so much history to share!

Experience was great…..Tour guide not so much.we were supposed to go inside 2 pyramids, but she only took us to 1….No explanation
Maureen_S, Mar 2026
The pyramids are amazing. The tour guide ensured we saw everything. But only given 3 as she didn't engage with us only to tell us the facts. It would have been better if she gave us other bits of about Cairo generally.
Cao_C, Feb 2026
this trip don't include pyramid tickets
but in description it says include
the guide didn't explain history to me very well
I ask her to take picture for me
she was unwilling to do that
it's not worthy to spend this money on this guide and car

Wonderful and most enjoyable private tour to the Pyramids of Giza with camel ride and lunch . The tour guide was very friendly and professional and we learned a lot . It was the highlight of our Egypt holiday and i highly recommend this tour.

Worth it. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. She knows how to speak many languages, including Indonesian language. It was hot when we went there. So I didn’t get to get into the pyramids. The tour guide worried I would give her a bad review, and she asked me to write the review wile were eating lunch. She was young, sweet, and smart!

Firstly this is not a 6 hour tour. The guided tour finished after 2.5 hours talking in a very expensive 20 minute camel ride and the great pyramid area and then walking down to the Sphinx. After that we were left to walk about on our own does while then we were taken to lunch. Then back to the hotel.
It would have been nice to have the guide with us for the full time, exploring the other pyramids by ourselves without a guide means we were just mobbed by people trying to sell us stuff. One of the purposes of a personal guide is to prevent that.

Mohammed Galel was the most friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. He was truly excellent at not only educating us but also making it personable for our three generations (father, son and grandson).

Meena and Mina were AMAZING guides and provided and unforgettable experience! Would highly recommend them above all other tours.

Tour states, all inclusive vip but it excludes the main Pyramids entry. This was not clear and no option to add as an extra. Also we had lunch at 10:30. We opted for no camel ride. But that would only have added 30 mins so lunch would have been at 11am!. We only walked past the sphynx with no opportunity to get close to it although others did. The guide was knowledgeable but was only with us for a bit over 2 hours. For an all inclusive tour with lunch I expected more.

AMAZING!!!!!! Gamal, our tour guide, exceeded our expectations - not just a guide - Gamal is a historian, very knowledgeable and passionate, his high energy and enthusiasm truly made this a memorable and educational tour - he was very flexible and accommodating. He was extremely professional and willing to shuffle the itinerary around at the last minute to ensure we did not miss out on visiting the new museum which was mind blowing. not only did Gamal manage to secure us tickets to the new museum, but he was also extremely helpful and continued to guide us through the museum and educate us throughout the trip.
He was more than just a tour guide - Gamal was our photographer and friend. I highly recommend booking this trip with Gamal.

My husband and I took this tour with Eman and were extremely pleased with her knowledge, friendliness, and flexibility. She was accommodating, knowledgeable, and a truly nice person. We enjoyed our day with her very much and enjoyed hearing the history of the pyramids and the sphinx, along with all other information she shared with us at the site and during our driver there and back. I would highly recommend the tour and Eman.

What an amazing experience. Our guide Gamal was outstanding! The Pyramids of Giza are astounding! Gamal took wonderful personalized care of our group of four and shared so much information with us. The Pyramids was definitely the high point. Riding a camel was also pretty memorable. The rest of the tour featured an Egyptian lunch, a visit to a Spice Shop and a visit to a Perfume Shop. We also had the experience to write our names in hieroglyphics which was very cool. I would definitely recommend this tour and if you can get Gamal as a guide, you will be lucky!

The pyramids and sphinx was astounding
Very much enjoyed the tour

We booked a private tour, but less then 12 hours before the tour, we were told that the tour will be shared. It's a scam.
lelaprodani, Jan 2026
Paid for a private tour, but ended up with other people and multiple stops—definitely not as advertised.
Otherwise, tour guide was knowledgebale and the driver was good.

My family and I were immensely excited to learn history and delve into ancient culture of Egypt. Out of the interest we booked all-inclusive option (VIP) , which offered multiple diverse opportunities and experiences . We reserved Russian guide and theoretically everything was confirmed, however the start of the excursion appalled us and to our dismay we became even more disappointed throughout the whole journey.
Unfortunately, we were led by English Guide , because none of the Russian Guides were available, even though we confirmed it with them beforehand.
On our arrival we expected to hear detailed history of Pyramids’ origination and their continuity, but instead we were provided unnecessary information on the surface. The guide was reckless to explain us anything, and we had to encourage her ourselves to at least answer ours questions. Additionally, she was not behaving herself “professionally” nor “tactfully” , a vast amount of time was spent on her giggling and talking to her “friends” rather that focusing on the job.
Primarily, we were promised a 30 minutes camel ride around the pyramids, but to our surprise we walked only for 15 minutes only forth and backwards. Mournfully, as we approached the pyramids, we got a chance to only go inside of the third, smallest one .
Afterwards was a sequence of commercial shops as :spices, perfumes/ oils, chocolate and dates , where we were brought as “naive” tourists; in summary - a total robbery. I was very unnerved as I felt a pushing force from the guy to buy something.Besides, this financial exploitation has never been mentioned in the description. Instantly, we asked to skip this part of the trip, however we were deliberately ignored and refused .
The lunch was at 4:30 and the entire group was already extremely starved to that time, we predicted it to be at 2 so it was an ultimate outrage and shock to us .
Concluding., I’m absolutely not recommending it to anyone, the trip is overpriced and dissatisfying. We didn’t receive service and information we paid for. Anyone who seeks historic adventure and luxury should avoid this option for his own good .

Ahmed Elsayed Was absolutely exceptional! He was so friendly and personable, telling us about the history of Egypt perfectly timed with our locations as we progressed down the road toward the pyramids. He added a sense of humor and along with good explanations. Very creative in his photography skills and ideas. Excellent explanation of lunch and guided through various shops highlighting the local culture and art. We are so grateful ton him for teaching us so much about ancient Egypt! Extremely knowledgable!

The guy started out really nice and friendly but was all bogus. He became impatient and rude as the tour went along. He didn't know we understood a little Arabic. Will never use the company again

This was a private tour with my husband & I plus two adult children. We had fun with our guide, Shreen. She was very informative, patient, caring and good company. You could feel she is very passionate about Egyptian history. The experience in the pyramids & camel ride was amazing & Shreen facilitated everything! She also took great pictures for my family. The traditional Egyptian lunch included in the tour was unique and tasty. My only complaint was that the car used seemed old & smelled strongly of stale cigarettes which triggered my daughter’s allergic cough. Otherwise, it was fantastic!
Andreas_S, Jan 2026
VIP tour including the camel ride is a must to do. Especially when you are lucky to have Mo Galal as your guide. He knows all the history and background information in detail and in addition can show you the best places to shoot unforgettable photos
Robert_G, Jan 2026
They picked us up in a car where one of us had to sit in the trunk on some extra seat.
The ”guide” was not an educated egyptologist. Very poor information and difficult to understand. She didnt seem interested in talking to us but highly recommended the camel rides and good photo views. Said there was nothing to see inside the pyramids..
A visit that could have been very interesting but turned out as big disappointment. Avoid if you want to learn a lot.

THIS WAS A SCAM!! There was nothing private or VIP about this experience at all.
My fiancé and I payed extra for a private VIP tour that was supposed to be the 2 of us and a guide. We get picked up and there’s a bunch of people in the van, I messaged the guide and told her we booked a private tour and she said it was just the car ride that was a group. We picked up more people along the way which took 2 hours total before we got to the pyramids. When the guide got in the car she said we would all be going together even though almost everyone booked a private tour. The other groups of people in our tour were not happy either and we all felt we were taken advantage of. The pyramids were stunning but it was so quick we basically walked or drove by without the option to get out and go inside and explore. The camel ride was 10 minutes and honestly it felt like animal abuse and cruelty, I didn’t feel comfortable to ride because I’m pregnant and the guy basically grabbed my arm and forced me onto the camel, I had to ask him multiple times to get me down because I was not comfortable AT ALL. We got to go inside one pyramid and it was cool but again very rushed experience and then we walked by the sphinx before the guide asked us to record a video saying how much fun we had…. Meanwhile we payed to go in and explore around the sphinx. Afterwards our guide took us around Giza to shops that none of us wanted to go to and pressured us to buy stuff and we sat around for hours. We spent more time in Giza in perfume shops and souvenir shops. When we finally got “lunch” it was almost 5pm and the food made me very sick. We got back to our hotel at 8pm. We felt like we wasted so much precious time and daylight driving around and being pressured to spend money when all we wanted to do was explore the pyramids and take our time. I asked for a refund since the original group tour was 17$ per person and we upgraded to VIP package and they sent me 12$ back when I spent over 100$ to have a private tour with admission to see everything. It was so disappointing we ended up going back by ourselves and had the best experience exploring on our own. I wish we did that in the first place.

We had a wonderful day accompanied by our excellent guide.
She explained the pyramids and the Sphinx to us, following us step by step through every experience. She was also very good and gentle with my son Lorenzo.
The camel ride was beautiful and very characteristic! I would also like to compliment our driver, who was very polite and attentive.
Highly recommended!

Don’t book a private tour. We had to join a group with other dissatisfied travellers who had also booked a private tour - got the message the night before departure which also was 1:30 hrs before planned. No refund so far.
