Very long day. Picked up...

Very long day. Picked up at 7.15 and didn’t get back til 8.30. Very good tour guide but hard to understand at times. On our tour we had 5 others in the van and we all opted for an earlier lunch than was planned. Van driver just lovely and stopped when we needed him to for bathroom etc.

From the start it was...

From the start it was easy to communicate with our tour guide Mahmoud. Him and the driver arrived on time for pick up. It was our family of 5. Mahmoud made getting our entrance tickets easy. Then he took us to a separate man who had some camels for a short but memorable ride. Mahmoud then walked us around the site, helped take photos of the group, and gave us all the information! He is very knowledgeable in what he does! Our group felt safe with the driver and while walking around with Mahmoud. Would absolutely recommend this tour.

Full day history work

This is a really full day experience a 10 hour day starting with the entrance to the Giza Plateau followed by 30 to 45 minute ride on the camels with plenty of pictures, followed by the tour around the great pyramid and the entrance to the queen pyramid funeral chamber. A walk down to the sphinx follows with plenty of pictures and the history of the sphinx. Then a Travel to a cartouche manufacturing company and a perfume/perfume essence demonstration and sale followed by all you can eat lunch and ending with a three hour tour at the great Egyptian museum, where the 80 ton statue of Ramses the second stands at the entrance, frankly if you are a Egypt history lover that museum can take 4 full hours.

Fantastic!

Our Egyptologist guide made this tour special. Do not go to the Great Pyramids without a guide, and most importantly, do not go without an Egyptologist. The pyramids are impressive on their own, but without someone explaining what you are looking at, you will miss most of it. Our guide brought the whole place to life, answered every question, and made the day feel easy instead of overwhelming. Ten stars. I would book this exact tour again.

Mohammed Osama is the best tour guide we had so far!!!!

After a very disappointing Tour, We decided to cancel and move here in Viator. It was our luck to come across this tour and met our amazing Egyptologist guide - Osama. He actually took us to the sides of the famous sites and showed us other details and artifacts apart from the main ones. He also shared stories and beliefs about the rulers. Ask him anything about Egypt and he knows. The usual tour guide would just leave you in the site without explanation. He also explained the hieroglyphics very well and told the stories on it. We enjoyed our day better than all other tours we had. Tip: Whenever youre booking this activity - Just add in notes: To please book your tour guide to be Mohammed Osama.

Mira did a great job...

Mira did a great job along with the driver. They picked us up on time, were patient with us and provided good info. She was very knowledgeable and also helped take great care of pictures at the pyramid. She recommended a great lunch buffet place and showed us a few other places like the papyrus museum.

Great experience

We had an amazing experience visiting the pyramids! Ahmed was a fantastic guide, very friendly, knowledgeable and even spoke Greek, which made everything even better. He took us everywhere and made sure we saw as much as possible. Our driver was also excellent and drove us safely throughout the day. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent day trip from Cairo to Alexandria and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Our tour guide was absolutely brilliant — very kind, welcoming, and highly knowledgeable. She made us feel comfortable throughout the day and shared a wealth of information about Alexandria’s Greek history, culture, and significant landmarks. The tour was very well recommended, and we learnt a great deal along the way. It was a fantastic opportunity to discover more about Egypt and experience another of its fascinating cities. The lunch was also nice and provided a welcome break during a busy day of sightseeing. Although it is a long day, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable and well worth the time. The combination of interesting sights, informative commentary, and a wonderful tour guide made it a memorable trip. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cairo who wants to explore Alexandria and learn more about Egypt’s rich history. An excellent experience from start to finish!

Amazing day with Haitham!

An awesome day trip, and a wonderful, friendly, enthusiastic guide called Haitham. We did and saw so many things and there were many highlights including the jeep ride through the Western Sahara, the 40million year old whale bones, beautiful views and Bedoin music and lunch. Highly recommend!

Great tour

The guide was polite and professional. He arrived on time and did a good job with the tour. At times, his English was a bit hard to follow, but he answered all our questions patiently. He also helped us with a camel, and we didn't get scammed. We were able to customise our tour as we pleased. Overall, I would highly recommend the tour.

Great day in Cairo

Mizo was incredible he is one of the best tour guides ever, he is so funny and passionate about his work, he explains history through the human experience not through dates and boring facts. I loved visiting the churches, the Mosques I was not too excited about however they were actually beautiful and so interesting to learn about . I love the respect Mizo showed for the churches. I needed to buy a special gift at the church and he made sure I got what I wanted and also let me stay longer and enjoy the atmosphere

Moody my driver was professional and kind. A very reliable and respectful man. I wish they were truly my blood. Osama explained the ancient Egyptian history and everybody knows him and always has positive things to say about him. I felt safe as a solo female traveler and they both were a true genuine gentleman. I am still in awe. Osama took over 50 pictures and taught me how to pose.
