What are people saying about Sharm el Sheikh

Best way to see a different side of Egypt
We were promptly picked up from our hotel by our kind and professional driver, Waleed in a comfortable van. The 3 hours journey was seamless. Waleed provided us with water and pointed out important landmarks along the way.
Our guide in Alexandra was knowledgeable about the history of catacombs and Citadel of Qaitbay. Lunch was at a local restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. I highly recommend Emo Tours Egypt and will definitely use again.

I had an amazing spa experience today with my friend, everything was top-notch from the hammam bath, scrub, salt room, and jacuzzi to the incredibly relaxing massage.
A big thank you to Manar and Wezzo for their excellent care and professionalism. Highly recommend for a truly rejuvenating experience!

It was such a wonderful experience with our tour guide Hussain. The visit to pyramids was fabulous. It was such a detailed experience. The guide took such amazing pictures as well the cherry on top. Overall our experience was splendid and so informative. Definitely recommended.

Excellent experience
Sharm el Sheikh Airport was a bit chaotic with miserable staff. Be prepared to go through security. The bags were thrown through the scanner and belongings fell onto the floor. Apart from that it was a really smooth transfer into Cairo where we were met by our driver who took us to the pyramids. The guide met us there and we had a fantastic day. Take plenty of refreshments as it's a busy full on tour. We had a break in the museum where there is a café

Desert Safari Adventure and more!
This was a brilliant fun day out, with plenty of activities to enjoy and help discover a little more about Egypt.
After being picked up from our hotel, we were driven to the Desert Safari headquarters where we given scarves to wear - there's a lot of sand in the desert! We opted for a buggy rather than a quad bike, although I think both were great fun. There were a number of stops and at each one we were given the opportunity to buy things (drinks, souvenirs etc) as well as having refreshments provided as in the itinerary. (We wished we'd bought some money for this, Egyptian 100 pound notes, euros, pound coins etc, as we would probably have bought a bracelet, a carved camel or similar.) The guides were very enthusiastic and made sure we enjoyed ourselves!
After the amazing quad biking, echo-calling, tea-drinking adventure we were taken to a Bedouin camp in the desert where we had a short but sweet camel ride. I was on Maradonna whilst Shakira trotted alongside. This was followed by a visit to the Bedouin pharmacy tent, a gloriously colourful affair filled with the potions and herbs that are used by the Bedouins. The pharmacist shared samples of some of their herbal medicines, which was interesting - and we had the opportunity to buy things too. We had a little quiz during this session and as I was the first to answer I was presented with a little prize - a box of grey herbs. (Back at the hotel I used Ai to tell me what it was and check I could take it on the plane home! If you've read this far, you deserve to know the answer, so you too could win a box. It's dried sage, which grows in the desert, and can be used for weightloss!
As the sun started to set, we were rewarded with a very tasty meal - rice, chicken, kofta kebab and a delicious stew, After that came the show, which included an amazing fire dancer as well as a whirling dirvish performer. There was audience participation too.
Finally, we were led into the darkness of the desert to do a little star gazing through some powerful telescopes.
This day was a magical experience I recommend thoroughly, although it's worth remembering that there will be plenty of optional extras available - which you should haggle over!

Great Quad Experience
Nothing short but amazing. We were up at 2am looking at last minute things to do for our last day in Sharm and we came across a few Quad ride experiences but this company stood out. We are very happy that we decided to choose them because this tour was the cherry on top of our visit to Egypt. Our tour guide Zizo was excellent from the beginning to end and very informative. The bikes were in great condition and we felt so included throughout the entire tour. Our favourite stop was at the village where we experienced some cultural entertainment and great food (the food was better than our hotel!). We even got to see the moon and Jupiter at the last stop for star gazing and it was truly remarkable because they had a very high tech telescope. If you’re looking for a few hours of adventure we highly recommend booking this company! Thank you again Zizo and staff.

A really enjoyable afternoon and evening riding a quad bike into the desert! This is the second time we have done the activity and it was just as good as the last. Well organised, fantastic staff who really look after you. Really affordable price and great quality for the money.

Day trip to Petra from Sharm El Sheikh
The visit to Petra is simply amazing. It is well worth the time spent getting there, however there is no escaping the fact that it is very, very long.
Our trip started at 00:45 and ended at about midnight. It was all incredibly efficient though and by and large ran like clockwork. The only delay was when we arrived in Aqaba we were kept on the ferry for about an hour as a customs officer hadn’t turned up. There’s quite a bit of queuing too, you queue to leave Egypt and again to enter Jordan, and then the reverse on the way back. It is mostly queuing outside, it’s still dark (in early Feb) and was quite cold so make sure you have a jacket with you.
The guides were great, and our tour bus catered for three languages. I saw previous reviews where people said that people spoke over the guides when it wasn’t their language but that wasn’t our experience.
Petra itself is a sight to behold, absolutely stunning! The Treasury, jaw dropping! And the site is huge, we could have done with an entire day as you just can’t see it all in the few hours you are there for.
There is a walk of around 45 mins in each direction which is downhill on the way in and therefore uphill on the way out. We are both 65, and quite active, but had no issues at all with the hike. You can take a golf buggy (which I think is $22 cash each, one way. Please check as I’m not too sure, or take a horse).
We felt the lunch at a nearby hotel wasn’t great, but as it came at the end of the visit to Petra and we were about to sit on a coach for several hours, it was better not to over eat!
Some have complained about the toilet stops being at shopping villages to buy souvenirs, but I couldn’t really see any other options. That said, there was absolutely zero hassle where we stopped, the vendors showed respect and left you alone to browse in peace. And no tips required to use the toilet!
Don’t be put off by the journey, it really wasn't too arduous! Petra is an unforgettable experience, the Jordanian people are so friendly and welcoming, it is well, well worth it!
I’m not sure why no one offers a two or three day trip though, if they did, we would have done that instead.

A must do with an amazing crew
The entire experience was amazing. Booked both snorkeling and diving. The crew were superb. My wife is pregnant and couldn’t manage swimming for long. A crew member took her (pulled her ) and all those who couldn’t swim around to see the coral and all the way to the White Island.. We made a mistake however. Unfortunately you cannot dive with seeing glasses on. Pack contact lenses or custom prescription goggles if you need your glasses to see. Food was great. The boat was 5 star. Definitely memorable

Excellent day!
Pick up was on time. Arrived at the marina and taken to the boat (Yousef 1) The diving instructor (hamza) explained about diving - really easy instructions. We hadn’t booked to dive but the offer of a little try in the water first before deciding was so good. So we both did and both dived for the first time 😍. Hamza took the reins completely so all we had to concentrate on was breathing and looking at the reef! We then went over to White Island and as non confident swimmers, were taken there by holding a ring. And back! All the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good also. Highly recommend.

I very much recommend the trip. It’s very well organised. The snorkelling in the blue hole is an extraordinary experience. We were supported by an experienced and supportive guide. I liked the photos and videos taken by the tour guide. Lunch was very good. It’s important to have some local cash to pay for the use of facilities like toilets and showers.

Another perfect day on the boat with Dolphin Red Sea diving company
I end up on this trip with the same company I did Tiran island - Dolphin Red Sea. Very good and patient instructors. All explained well. 2 intro dives 10min each felt so much longer and they take amazing photos under the water if you want to buy extra as souvenir. Really good experience and I would go with them again.

Sharm el Sheikh’s location on the southern tip of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula means it is a prime destination for water activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, and yachting. The best way to experience the biodiversity of the Red Sea Reef is on a Sharm el Sheikh tour that includes a visit to the Ras Mohammed National Park. Visitors flock to this national park to experience its stunning underwater landscape and the many species of coral and sea life that make their homes here. Book a walking tour or quad bike desert adventure if you want to see more of Sharm el Sheikh.
