A fantastic one on one tour! The guide I had was Sayed Amin, and he answered all my questions and educated me on a lot things I wasn’t aware of and made the trip wonderful I didn’t have to worry about a thing he even took some the best photos.

Hossam Gamal was our guide and he was outstanding. He is very passionate and knowledgeable on Egypt history and the museum. He wants to show you everything but at the same time listens to you and adjust the tour with more or less information based upon your input. He also does the Pyramids Tour. If you are booking the tour I strongly recommend you ask for him as your guide

Driver/ Guide showed up on time and full day of exploration of pyramids. The great pyramid entrance was not included but the guide showed us where to get the tickets and waited till we finished. Everything went well and spoke good English.

We found the tour less focussed on history and more on shopping. Our guide Ahmed did not know much about the historical sites and was rushing us from one site to the other. He was keen to take us the various shops. It was not a good experience.

I booked numerous excursions through viator with minimal issues. I had a tour booked for Luxor sites through viator. The tour operator did not show up at 8 am as promised . Zero communication. I called the tour operator and emailed no response. I called viator help desk and they tried to get in contact with the tour operator with no success. They then informed me that I would get a refund. The tour operator contacted me an hour later and said they were at the hotel. I said its an hour late with no communication so I left. Now viator will not issue refund as they said the tour operator did not approve it. Makes no sense. First they dont show up then refuse refund and Viator who I paid sends me an email refusing refund eventhough I sent them all the information and call chats proving the tour operator was an hour late and apologetic. NEVER USE VIATOR AS IF ISSUE THEY SEND YOU A AUTOMATED EMAIL

I had a wonderful time on this excursion. I got to visit all of the sites listed and my guide was very knowledgeable. We quickly entered the Giza Necropolis without be hounded by scammers. I feel having a private guide for this part of the excursion made the entire cost worthwhile
The only issue I had, and this was very early in the tour, was being hounded by my camel driver for more and more tips. He wanted US currency, not Egyptian. I finally gave him $20 so he would leave me alone. That is not the tour company's fault, just a precaution to other travelers.

The tour gives an overall view of many historical sites in and around Cairo/Giza. The VIP tour is private and you’ll be with a guide and driver. The tour does include stops to see local rug and papyrus making with sales pitches. I chose to forego the lunch so I do not know if that’s worth it or not. In the heat of the day, the tour can be very tiring. Entrance to several sites will require moving in tight confined spaces so keep that in mind. I recommend this experience, the company uses WhatsApp to communicate so make sure you download if you don’t have it. Hotel pick up was prompt and I did not experience any delays.

We had an absolutely horrible experience with Bassam Wageih Tour Operator (Operator of this tour). We booked our tour through Viator, but received no pickup details at all — not even until our scheduled pickup time! We kept messaging the operator through Viator, but they completely ignored our messages.
Finally, after reaching out to Viator support, they gave us the operator’s phone number. When we tried calling, no one answered. Out of desperation, we sent a WhatsApp message to the number, where someone finally replied — only to ask for our booking reference and then casually tell us to reschedule the tour for the next day!
We had been waiting since morning in our hotel lobby, wasting hours, only to be told this at the end. Our entire day’s plan was ruined, and since we were leaving Cairo the next day, we never even got to take the tour.
This was an unprofessional, irresponsible, and completely unacceptable experience. I would seriously warn anyone considering booking with this tour — don’t do it unless you want your day and travel plans ruined. Feels like a complete scam!

The guide is good, friendly and helpful and the driver is excellent…but the tour wastes too much of your time doing unscheduled stops which are of low quality and interest and with expectation you buy stuff.
Let’s count them: cotton shop, perfume shop, souvenir shop, papyrus shop, spices shop and carpet shop.
I did first four but then I got fed up and told the guide I am not doing the other two.
When you book a “VIP” private tour you expect to go through the itinerary - and not to visit six shops which frankly you can buy any of these items in the Khalili market and cheaper too.
Besides the point, I book itinerary - I expect to receive the itinerary and not a shopping tour.
I am sorry for the somewhat harsh review but the tour does not correspond to what is being marketed and whilst I paid over £100 for the tour and paid a £25 tip to the guide and the driver it could have been a lot better
You get rushed through the stops in the itinerary because at least 2 hours of your time is wasted in these shops.

Book this tour with Sam. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, pleasant, and patient. He eliminated any concerns from people bothering you and let you take your time at each location. He arranged an amazing driver. Best part of the trip to Egypt by far.

Sam was a great knowledgeable guide. He was very attentive and was always concerned about how much we were enjoying our time. The driver Mina was really helpful and kind. We visited great sites in Cairo. His choice for lunch was delicious. We also got to do a little local shopping. Very happy and satisfied with the tour today.

This VIP All inclusive Best of the best Giza Pyramids,Sakkara,Memphis tour was excellent. What made it a 5+ star tour was our tour guide Gamal. He took us to excellent special sites not on the itinerary that we truly loved. Gamal was extremely knowledgeable in his field of Egyptian history and explained everything well. I highly recommend this tour and hopefully Gamal is your tour guide.

Great tour and very well plan by guide. Our tour guide was Lydia from Let’s Explore Egypt company and she covered all the attractions by providing sufficient time at each location and enough details. Car driver was also very cooperative and with good attitude. 100 % recommended tour. Lunch option was also great and guide also didn't push for any unnecessary shopping spots.

Our guide on the tour was Ahmed Elsayed. While we enjoyed the places we visited and the tour guide was knowledgeable, we left feeling cheated by him. There were other much cheaper tour options but we took this one because at $210 for two people, it was all inclusive. Ahmed told us that the tickets only covered the site fees and we would have to pay out of pocket for all entrance tickets into Giza and the other pyramids, the Spinx and the Valley Temple. He told us to buy entrance tickets to Sakkara pyramid and said that Giza would cost us a lot more and was pretty much the same and very crowded. He discouraged us and said we would be claustrophobic inside and it would be hard to bend and walk. We believed him and missed out on experiencing and seeing these from the inside. He ended up pocketing all the entrance fees to all these places. He stopped by the side of the road for us to take pictures of the Spinx and when we asked to see it and the Valley Temple, he again told us that the entrance fees were not included in the tour and would be extra. I confirmed afterwards with Viator that this was completely untrue and all enteance tickets were included.
The tour also included lunch at a nice restaurant overlooking the pyramids. Ahmed told us that the food there wasn’t good and they didn’t have any choices and that he could take us to a nicer restaurant instead. He ended taking us to a local, nondeascript place which we did not like and would never have picked.
All in all, while we have had good experience in the past with Viator and would continue using them, we left feeling cheated by the local guide. I would urge Viator to be clear and clarify in the tour description what exactly is included and what is not so that nothing is left to imagination and interpretation and other tourists don’t fall prey to guides like Ahmed Elsayed.

Our guide Ahmed Gaber was incredible. He had great knowledge about egyptian history (we learned a lot!) and he took us to the best spots at the pyramids (Saqqara and Giza) and Memphis. He also takes great photos. Driver Hany was safe and always trying to please us.
However, the car wasn’t great (it had AC though). It had no seat belts in the back, which was the only negative fact to point out.

It was an incredible tour. It was private, and so we had a lot of flexibility and there was no rush. Our guide, Ahmed Elsayed, is such a brilliant man. He educated us so much about Egypt and all the places he took us to. He took time to explain everything, and we felt his passion in his craft. Our driver, Tawfeq, took safe care of us around Cairo’s busy roads. One of the best tours!

It was a fantastic tour. Our guide Sam was most educated in the history and took care us along the way and specialized the tour to fit us Our driver Hassan did a super job getting us across town. We felt very welcome by both Sam and Hassan.
