Amazing sites. All worth it. Driver and guide were excellent. Followed the schedule we asked for w/o forcing us to do the "optional" scam tours like factories, workshops or camel rides (although they were offered). Has a nice shawarma for lunch too.

We had an excellent guide who spoke good English and was very interactive and engaging! Helped us take lots of cool photos and have a great time. Pick up and drop off was smooth and the air conditioned vehicle was useful since you are tired and hot after walking. Recommend this tour.

Wonderfully broad package... Wonderfully broad package deal including Giza, Memphis, and Saqqara. Best way to see these monuments. Bilal was a fantastic driver, punctual and professional. Osama was a knowledgeable tour guide and very very good photographer. I would recommend requesting both. The lunch is FANTASTIC the baba ghanoush and chicken are wonderful! Only note is that as others have noted there is some pressure to do additional experiences not on the itinerary like a camel ride ($22 USD/person), visit a sacred oils and papyrus factory which others have noted to be nothing short of marketing pushes. We asked to skip these and Osama was amenable. I would advise others to do the same. However, because they were hoping we would attend these non-itinerary add ons there was a bit of rushing at Giza which took 1 star off the experience but otherwise was a wonderful time especially in Memphis and Saqqara

Okay, but not great - would not recommend

Tour was okay, not amazing. They make you stop at a carpet making school where they try to sell you things. Additionally, we were running a little behind schedule, and they made us stop at a perfume shop to sit through a sales pitch and then proceeded to charge us $10 for going over the tour time limit. Our tour guide was okay, but more of a chaperone than a tour guide.

Great first day tour in cairo

Usam and our driver were awesome to spend the day touring some of these amazing sites. I like the fact that we started in Memphis and Saqqara which avoided some of the crowds. Usam was engaging, helped us with goo picture sites and even how to avoid some of the scams with come vendors. We had a lunch of Kaosharo which was INCREDIBLE! We finished off the day at the Giza complex. It was a great tour for the value. The only items that were not on the original itenerary was a stop at an essential oil “museum” shop and a papyrus “museum” which was kind of not what we had planned. The oil shop was a sales job and while the products were nice (we actually bought a small bottle) it was a bit high pressure and we didn’t really want to shop like this. We simply asked to skip the papyrus shop because we figured it would be the same, so I would simply ask to skip those parts if you did not want to shop. Overall, we loved our day with Usam ! thank you!

So glad we decided to visit Memphis and Saqqara I found it fascinating, I could have done a day just there. The guild was lovely and checking in that we understood him all the time as he worried about his English but he was fine. The pyramids where obviously something to behold and our guild took us to great spots to get some good views with less people

Just Exceptional Pyramids Experience

This is probably the best tour you can do in Cairo. Whole day long (almost) and includes a lunch. The guide, Ihab (or Ehab) was just every knowledgeable and very articulate. He even took all our photos. The tour guys are end to service constantly making sure everything is fine. Tour include pickup form and drop to almost anywhere you stay.

Too many add-ons and shopping stops , too little substantive exploring of sites

Echoing negative reviews I should have considered more seriously, this tour is good if you like visiting historic sites along with long stops for shopping, Tiktok photos and camel/buggy rides, which many people do and I'm not knocking but were not on my chosen itinerary. Like others, I found the incessant insistence on costly add-ons annoying and felt discouraged to fully visit the historic sites that for me were the only real reason I booked the tour, and I had made that clear in a note before. The driver got lost on the way to my hotel so we began late but it was a private tour, just a driver, guide and me, so I was optimistic despite the mixed reviews. We spent little more than an hour at the Giza stop, during which I was discouraged to visit all the pyramids and incessantly encouraged to go on a (added charge) camel or buggy ride and take the type of photos in which I have no interest (I don't hold monuments in my hand or spin pyramids from my index finger although I get that plenty of people do). Before going to Sakkara and Memphis, we made three stops, a perfume store, a papyrus store and a spice store (I flat refused the rug store stop), under the guise of learning about how these items fit into Egyptian history. Each lasts at least 15 minutes and includes providing you a list of what you can buy. My guide was fine, with decent language skills and historical knowledge, but because I had explained my interests beforehand, even if we needed to make these stops due to some agreement he or the local tour company have with the vendors, they were for me an annoying waste of time. The time spent shopping, eating and driving was far longer than the time spent at the sites, and by the end of the tour I was tired and frustrated that the itinerary had not been more closely followed. Better and cheaper to get a driver through your hotel to take you to each site and wait for you and to research each site's history on your own. I have, in fact, based on this experience, cancelled a subsequent tour booked throu Viator and will instead coordinate through my hotel in future. They don't want grumpy guests and so will more likely help me find an experience better suited to my travel style.

Tonsi was an amazing guide. Friendly and helpful, he kept the day interesting, informative, and fun. It was nice to have someone to help navigate high traffic areas. Seeing the tombs at Saqqara and riding camels in Giza were huge highlights.

Good car ok guide

Liked the driver and ac car but our guide Mohammed really condensed our trip at Giza pyramids. Only really saw the big pyramid then railroaded us into buying buggy tickets for 56 American dollars for 2 for 10 minute ride and head scarf for a ridiculous price.

Excellent experience! Our flight arrived late so we missed out on some of the attractions as the sites close at 4pm. But or guide Osama was wonderful and packed as much into our time as he could. Told him at the beginning that we were not interested in shopping, so he avoided those areas. Truly a once in a lifetime experience!

I would give the tour 6 stars if it was possible! I only had a day in Cairo to try and see as much as possible and I think I had in Hazem the best tour guide in the World. His knowledge, friendliness and organisation are top tier! I would recommend this tour to just about anyone!! Thanks to Youssef too for his driving skills that made navigating the hectic city look like a walk in the park!

Our guide Farah and our driver Mohammed were so very kind and gently. We had a fantastic experience and fun day with them. They let us took pictures and see all places we wanted to see. The tour was so interesting! Farah was well prepared and explained history and facts about the pyramids and all historic sites. The dinner was very nice in a lovely restaurant. It was a very good experience! We truly recommend them!

My husband and I and Very happy with the entire experience. Tonsi, our guide, texted us the day prior to confirm the pick up time and location. The experience included a guide, and a driver Muhammad. Muhammad drove us safely around and was always ready with cold water for us. We went to the pyramids where Tonsi gave us an enormous amount of information, he answered all of our questions and was happy to take a lot of pictures for us, thank you Tonsi! We saw the pyramids, we went on a camel ride and to a spot where you could see all 3 pyramids from afar. The tour was in english, which Tonsi spoke perfectly. After the pyramids and the Sphinx, we went to a place where they show you the papyrus are made and how to differentiate them from the fake ones. Also took use to a carpet making store, and oil store. Then, Tonsi ensured we ate lunch at a delicious local restaurant in Giza, the best place we ate at so far! Tonsi is as kind, knowledgeable, patient and professional guide. He made our experience comfortable and wonderful. Thank you for the beautiful experience, I definitely recommend emo tours and Tonsi as a guide

Muhammed and Ahmed the driver were so lovely. Picked us up promptly with a smile and made us feel comfortable from the start. Muhammed was knowledgeable and very good at dealing with all the local sellers coming onto us. He was a history graduate and knew his stuff and chatted throughout the journey. Ahmed was a good driver, a quiet man, but got us to all the sites safely and arrived seconds after being called. The Pyramids are amazing and the reason I booked the trip. With the addition of the Saqhara trip and Memphis we managed to get a lot in while we were in Cairo for a day. Downsides are the extras for the trip with the papyrus shop, perfumes shop, spice shop etc. Part of a government directive to support the tourist industry and if a simple no would suffice then it would be fine but not being very assertive family we purchased the smallest thing we could get away with and we don't have a lot of money to spare and was on a budget so not ideal just uncomfortable. The lunch restaurant was amazing, food was bbq style with buffet and location was lovely. I dont mind spending extras for drinks. We were out from 8.30am to 5pm in a lovely air conditioned van and felt well looked after.

A great experience for the price. A few extra stops where they try to sell overpriced items, but overall we visited a all the places we wanted, had time to explore freely, the guide was helpful and knowledgeable, and the meal was an acceptable buffet restaurant.

From the time we were collected at 8am to our drop off at 2pm, Marwa was an excellent and professional guide. Her professional and practical archeology knowledge combined well with her travel guide experience. We were taken around pyramids at a good pace, and our driver made the journeys feel safe. Each stop had something of interest, and Marwa's choice of lunch stop was excellent. Definitely recommended.
