Absolutely amazing day with very friendly guides. The water was crystal clear and we were served a great meal on the beach. We also saw plenty of dolphins!! Everyone was so friendly and it was an absolutely perfect experience. We did many excursions but this was my absolute favorite! I would definitely recommend this one to everyone!!!

Itinerary

When visiting Cairo, it’s a must to get away from the business and relax at the Red Sea. This tour takes you there, hassle-free, so you don’t need to worry about any logistics.

Your tour starts with hotel pickup to keep things running smoothly. Then you’ll make your way out to El Ain Sokhna where you can spend the day however you like. This is a private tour, so there is no fixed itinerary like there often is with large group tours.

Swim, sunbathe, walk the beach, or relax. Throughout the day you’ll be served snacks, plus lunch is also provided.

When your day is finished, you’ll be driven privately back to your Cairo hotel.

I booked this tour mainly to see the Red Sea, but it didn’t live up to expectations. There was a heavy downpour the night before, which led to road closures and left the beach in bad shape. I visited in March, and since there wasn’t much to do besides being in the water, I was offered an insanely overpriced massage that wasn’t worth it. To make things even more uncomfortable, the guide also offered to give me a massage—which was totally inappropriate.

This tour was a complete waste of time and zero value for me. I used emo tours 3 times this trip with mixed feelings but this tour was definitely the worse and I would not recommend. The day started with Abdul(guide) and Goo-Goo (driver) quite eccentric with lots of chit-chat (nothing about the history or the areas we were passing on the way to the resort). I really just wanted to relax and be left alone really for a chill day at the beach. Two hours later we arrive the the resort (BLUE-BLUE) and let’s just say it’s closer to a 2-Star resort than the 4+ Star that Emo tours advertise… Alas I was here for the beach and the crystal clear water. After the hotel representative took my passport card, we proceeded to the cabana house that I had reserved for the “day” for me to change and what not to get started, the cabana was fairly bare bones, no water or anything just really a dark room to get changed and what not. I proceeded to the beach which was the only reason I gave this review 2 stars, simply gorgeous water and the sun was amazing. I proceed to take it all in an Abdul comes over chit-chatting again while my eyes were close (was hoping he would get the point). About an hour later I proceed to go back to the cabana to use the restroom and when I grab for the key for the cabana, I notice my wallet was wasn’t there with it in my bag which it always sits in the same slot. After throughly searching my bag and cabana, I notify Abdul to check with the driver to see if by some odd reason it fell out in the car. 20 minutes later Abdul comes back with my wallet and I search it and it’s missing 1000 Egyptian pounds ($20USD)! I’m not one to speculate but literally, only people who had access to my bag were my guide and the waiter the entirety of that hour. I asked Abdul where was it located and he brushed it off and did not tell me. I decided to table it so I could salvage the bit of the day left I could and amounted it to…it’s only $20. The lunch was HORRIBLE, the only saving grace was the basic salad, because the past was very basic w/ sauce from a can and the chicken was just microwaved up chicken nuggets. Needless to say I did not finish it and ate as soon as I got back to Cairo. Now to the restaurant charges…the advertisement reads that bottled water is included with the tour…it wasn’t. I ordered 1 bottle of water and a hibiscus tea, I received my bill and it included my bottle of water, the tea and my GUIDE’S Bottle of water from him eating lunch! I paid the total and brushed it off as I finally get to go back to my hotel… Another awkward situation was my guide talking to me about how to properly tip and what not….I don’t need help and IDK why Egyptian culture doesn’t find it rude to imply how much is an adequate tip… Also keep in mind this tour is advertised as a full day but with travel time and what not, you really only get 4 hours at the resort. On the car ride back, I will say Abdul was accommodating to stop me by a shop I had a package at which was on my way to the hotel (but he did try to steer me from buying from someone that I already had bought things from and built a relationship with to push me on someone he knew). All in all, this tour was a waste of my time and really truthfully, put my psychological safety in a bind for what should have been a relaxing end to my all my excursions in Egypt, COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. And mind you like another reviewer has stated, I did not request a refund and I did tip, because I want to give you the real information so that hopefully you don’t go through what I did. This tour is a complete miss for $160 and what is advertised as a VIP experience.

Very nice beach with very kind hotel staff. Our tour guide Amaya was very nice and very thoughful. She took care of everything from getting our cards and towels and make sure our lunch was ready. Our driver was also very nice. Amazing experience.

First we booked driver and beach only so I gave this 3 stars for the following reasons : 1. We never got our complementary water 2. We had to pay 2500 more Egyptian pounds to go on the beach 3. The wash/shower/toilets were filled with faeces everywhere (bring your own tissue) 4. We had to wait nearly an hour to get picked back up. Now for the good points : 1. The beach is very clean 2. You are provided with towels 3. The Red sea is the most beautiful sea I have ever laid eyes on, so clear, pure and blue, also my son had a paper cut which closed as soon as he went into the water. 4. There is very ,very few people on the beach when we was there practically had the beach to ourselves which was great. 5. There is no one trying to sell you anything, they do offer boat rides. 6. I gave it 3 stars and they are all for the sea and beach 7. I still recommend you visit its beautiful

I enjoyed my day on the boat in Ain Sokhna overall. However, the price is quite expensive for what you get. The boat does not go very far from the shore so it’s not entirely a “yachting” experience per se. The lunch was very tasty, however, the trip claims to offer “free soft drinks”- the only free drink is water, I was told coffee was free and ended up being charged for it. I am a solo female traveler and wanted to get out of Cairo and enjoy some nature for the day, so this satisfied that need for me, but don’t expect a Western type yachting experience. You’ll want to dress conservatively as a female and respect the fact that Ain Sokhna is mostly Egyptian families. Overall, I had a nice day but wish the price included more or was just less expensive.

Americans such as ourselves may not love the long and hectic drive to the coast from Cairo, but the turquoise and blue seas provide a welcome contrast to the sandy city. The resort was shabby, compared to western resort standards, but the provided buffet lunch was really quite tasty (and we just used the resort room to change in and store our belongings). The beach has lounge chairs with umbrella, a pool, and a swimming area cordoned off from the sea. The driver and guide were friendly and professional. If you keep expectations in check, you’ll enjoy a day away from Cairo and relax beside the Red Sea.

The experience on the whole was amazing. The driver and the guide were kind and the trip has happened with no problems. The landscape is pretty and the facility is nice. However we had too short time there. We´ve arrived at about 10:30 AM and hat to leave at 15:00 PM. It´s maybe not worth it to spend almost 5 hours in a car to stay just 4,5 hours there.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. This was not value for money. My driver was friendly but I was harassed by men at the hotel, the lunch was not very good and cost $35. I ended up feeling very irritated. Such a shame.

It sounds nice in the description. The actual beach appears less than 300 yards and looks more like a large pool. I thought, "I dont want to spend a day of the brief time I am in Cairo at this crappy beach resort". My guide (Hakeem) was great. He and the driver took me to the Egyptian Civilization Museum after a brief time at the resort It was a nice save of a potentially wasted day.

WOW!!! Such a great experience! I would definitely recommend folks visit the Red Sea if they go to Egypt. The mountain and desert views are very grande and the water views are amazing. The water is very very salty, but the color of the water is super clear and soothing. My guide Mido was able to negotiate a good deal for me to go parasailing and it honestly made my whole trip to Egypt. The drive there from Cairo didn't feel too long. A nap makes the time go by real quick.

The driver hamadein was very fun to be with. He was very outgoing and very concerned about my pleasure in experiences. He offered me drinks at the gas station and even fruit that he purchased. He made sure I got to my motel which was hard to find. The red sea was beautiful and the best part of Egypt. Had my own room at the resort for a few hours. Loved it, however the company did not pick me up for the airport the next day after I paid for transportation with my credit card. They did not answer calls or texts. I do not recommend this tour operator. They were even late picking me up for this tour. Very disappointed.

The Emo Tuor agency was the worst agency I've ever had contact with! At the last minute I was told that the guide in my language was no longer available I was offered in a blunt manner whether or not I wanted an English speaking guide! To my surprise they sent a driver (very polite) who only spoke Arabic! I contacted the agency who said the guide would be waiting for me (where? because I didn't find anyone). On the way we had an accident on the road because the driver was always talking on the cell phone. Luckily, nothing serious happened to me, because the other car hit the side of the door where I was! The resort is great but the service leaves a lot to be desired people always peeled and with the cell phone not to worry about anything only the barita that served me was really working! I do not recommend this agency to anyone.
